While we weren't purchasing one of the high end smart phones, Chris treated us as a valued customer. We were there to purchase a specific basic phone for my husband and have information transferred from his current phone to the new phone. Cathleen the nightmare store manager. Now, she would say that I called her nasty, which is why she was nasty. No Cathleen, you are nasty, unprofesional and an embarrassment to Verizon. She would not respect my 12 noon appt, she would not pull up my account when told MY Verizon app doesnt allow me to see my bill, she told me if I wanted the account pulled up she will have a team mate and that will be 45 minutes to one hour. I guess that was my penalty.She would not provide her full name, nor her managers name. Nightmare Cathleen. This store has some very nice salespeople. How that work with Cathleen is beyond me. I can definitely see how this store could be hit or miss depending on who helps you out. I went to this store last week when my phone's power button stopped working and I was greeted by Valerie who was excellent. She was friendly and it was clear that she was trying to be as helpful as possible in offering customer support. She set me up with an appointment for a couple of hours later. I returned to the store about 30 minutes before my scheduled appointment and another woman greeted me at the door who was NOT helpful, friendly or engaging in the least. She seemed to focus only on what the store could not do to help and said it was doubtful that my upcoming scheduled appointment would be seen on time. She complained that they were understaffed that day and she just did not seem happy at all. Just a few minutes later, Valerie returned and referred me to see Chris M who my appointment was with and it was 15 minutes rior to my appointment time. Chris fixed my phone in 2 minutes and didn't charge me anything. I was shocked as I had just returned from the NS mall and they wanted to charge me $250 to replace a part that was going to take almost a week to order. I was reluctantly prepared to exchange my phone but that would have cost me over $500 so Chris saved me a ton of money. I will definitely seek out Chris if I need to return here in the future. read more

Scrolling through the 1 star reviews makes me realize the issue here is poorly trained, inexperienced and under-qualified employees. I had the worst customer service experience at this store on Saturday. We walked in and were helped pretty quickly, though, just after confirming us with ID and information and pulling my account up the girl waiting on us began waiting on someone who just walked in. She dismissed us with a raised finger saying "i'll be back" as she trotted off with the customer that had just walked in (without an appointment), for some reason our issue was put in a back seat... still shaking my head on that. When she returned she had to send a code to my cell. She told me what she was going to do so I went right to my cell and did what I needed to without assistance. Apparently because of my age this astonished her... so much so that she was comfortable saying "you did that pretty well for someone your age"... aaaaand it just goes south from here. Suffice even the manager talked over my answer to his questions. I let them know that TMobile has a much less inexpensive option, both the representative and the manager responded poorly to this by telling us we're welcome to change carriers. A very entitled staff to say the least. Did I mention I've been with Verizon for over 23 years? Alls well that ends well. I ended up calling Verizon when I got home. I was helped by someone that understood and was likewise mortified by the ageist comment that was made as well as the lackluster service in this store. He guided me to a form for discrepancies, I filled it out and within 10 minutes had an incoming call from an executive addressing my concerns. She was helpful, understanding, explained their corporate policies for dealing with discriminatory remarks/poor employee performance, removed the cost of the periphery I'd bought that day (which affects the girls payout on commission) and offered a loyalty discount for my years of being a customer. The store... I'd pass on walking through their door ever again, they're not really representative of the quality of customer service Verizon corporate shows. read more

I pay roughly $100 per month for what Verizon advertises as "high speed internet". When I called to report slow speeds, and to find out if there was an outage, I was given the runaround for 3 weeks, until a customer service rep told me that 1 megabyte per second was all my entire are was rated to receive. WHILE WRITING THIS REVIEW my internet connection has cut out twice. Verizon is a scam artist, and if I could sue for misrepresentation of services, I would. read more

This was the worst verizon experience I have ever had! I arrived at 250 pm I called to be sure it wasn't apt only, customer service said they do take walk ins. I get there the store is just about empty, im thunking great. They tell me they are too busy to see me today and I must make an apt or come back another day because they are soo booked up the rest of the day or I can call the 1800 number to set up my new phones and pick up instore. I go outside, call customer service and order my new phones for me and my wife. During this time the parking lot starts to empty not a single new customer showed up in the time it took me to set that up maybe 15 mins. I go back in to pick up my phones the place was empty the Manger Dan was chatting with a Co worker while I just stood there then he started staring at me. I said hey whats up thinking he was finally going to ask me what he can help with. Instead Dan looks away as soon as I saw what's up and another verizon guys walks up and finally asks what he can help me with. I say I'm here to pick up my new phones. Dan then chimes in and says you can't pick those up until you get the email. I informed Dan that a customer service representative said since I'm sitting right outside the store I should be able to walk in and inform you I'm here to pick up my phones and it should be as easy as scanning them in. Dan says I need to wait for the email and walks out back. I then ask the other guy what has to happen for me to get my phones? There nobody in the store at all ill show a poc proving it and there was 4 people working. Thus guys said it says here pending we just need to wait for that. He checks again and sees its ready I ask if he could please see how it's going. I asked what is the big deal and why are they taking their time? I swear thus manager Dan was upset I came in before I got the email and wanted to make me wait. I waited, and waited and waited. For Dan to scan In 2 phones and put them in a bag and hand them to me we finally got our phones at 4pm. All because ethese lazy employees wanted me to call and have the verizon customer service do all the work for them. Thus guy Dan is a vindictive guy who apparently ignores customers and likes to make them wait when his store is 100% completely empty. I sat for nearly 30 mins waiting for Dan to scan 2 phones and put them in a bag. The other guy Luigi had the same mentality, he likely learned from his horrible Manger. How many complaints until verizon does something about this place? Verizon need to step and fix this corrupt store location imo. The power has gone to this guy Dan's head and he forgot he's there to help the customer not send them packing and them waste 30 mins of the customers time so he can prove a point. He started stred pulling the upset customer when I called him out and said he was effing with me. Mind you no other caterers in the store or I'd never of said it. He was so looking for a cop out to somehow justify the way he treated me. read more

I needed a new phone and dreaded having to do it. I was SO pleasantly surprised. Jeff helped me choose a new phone, the best plan with savings and transferred everything to my new phone. He made sure everything was working perfectly and was patient with my questions. It took a while, but the experience was great! I recommend this location highly (it was the same place I used the last time I upgraded my phone which was about 4 years ago and had an equally good experience) and Jeff, in particular. Sketchy store. Went in for a new phone on a family plan. Candice who works there, added insurance without asking me to each persons phone on the family plan. I'm giving 1 star because I can't give 0. Worst customer service I've received. I ordered a phone over a wk ago after waiting a wk for an appointment. The associate never finalized the order even though I signed everything. When I went in to find out why the order was never placed, though there were 2 people working with only 1 customer in the store, I was told sorry it's not our fault you never got a confirmation you can call our 800 number or make an appointment since we are appointment only. The reason for my low rating is based on an incident that happened over the summer. My wife and I both had blackberries and we wanted to downgrade. (we were eligible for an early upgrade) And even if that meant getting into a new 2 year contract we were fine with that as long as we could get out of the data plan and get into a more affordable plan. I understand that they won't be making money off of this transaction by us downgrading. They let us cancel the blackberry data plan and when I asked what phone options were available for us at a lower cost, the salesperson was very uninspired to assist us get the phone we needed. She showed us the section and we never saw her again. So we decided to not get new phones that day and we switched back to older phones we had at home and now we are shopping for another carrier when we are done with our deal is April. Its my opinion that every customer, even the ones that aren't throwing down $400 on a new phone are important and in this economy it would have went a long way to take two seconds to show us the options, talk to us and we would have been locked into another 2 years with their company. Took phone for cleaning they lost or stole Tom petty, bob.seager, Peter wolf and whalers concerts videos. Told us they were on the card but they couldn't help us and said to put SD in our computer to retrieve video. Called support at same time to not make mistakes and could not retrieve video. Went here to help my mother in law get a new phone because the one she had was dropping calls constantly. These guys were great! They are so helpful and found a phone that was just right for her, something with no bells & whistles but enough stuff that she can talk freely and simply. She had a free upgrade so didn't have to pay a dime for a new phone that she's happy with and that will work properly. The store itself also had all the newer model phones with great bundle packages to get you started with all the new technology. If I had Verizon myself I'd definitely shop this location! Had the worst customer experience that I have ever had, I truly hope my review is read and people will stop going here. I have a Droid phone, it kept turning on and off, and was sent one, took two days, not the one day as I was told, Brought the replacement phone in, and the guy that helped was great and helpful. As I was walking out the door, the phone started going off and on again, the manager, Mike Tango was there, asked me how long I had the phone, told him about an hour. He looked at it, said I had added too many apps......hello....I haven't had two seconds to add or delete anything! Then says he has the same phone and never had this problem, ok......I tell him I want to leave the store with a working phone and he said I could purchase a phone for $510.00 and I said no, why can you not get me this same phone from your back room, and then send the warrantied one, nope.....it doesn't work that way.......have to send you one.....but I will waive the $14.99 overnight fee, ummmm.....its under warranty, I wouldn't have to pay that. I have been in retail management in different companies, this is not how you do business, I lost an hour and a half of my time while stuff was being uploaded, now I will have o do it again? Are they serious. Mike Tango was by far the worst face of Verizon. Once my contract is up, so is Verizon! PS.....I wish there was an option for negative stars! read more

Verizon is so consistent.....their services (internet, wireless etc) are fantasitc when you are all set but getting something done through them is a test of your patience and sanity. This location is horrible.....the staff all sit there punching away on the computer and occasionally look up to see how many people they are ignoring. I think the management gives out prizes to the employee that can ignore the most customers while pretending to look busy. If you actually do get to talk with an employee (usually after 30 to 45 minutes (how silly am I to wait that long)) they are abrupt and not very helpful. The real crime here is that every Verizon customer pays for this bad service.....how much would our monthly bills go down if they actually had a management that understood how to treat customers QUICKLY and with a sense of acknowledgment that as trite as it sounds we pay their salaries. read more

Another terrible experience at Verizon Wireless. I am just a stupid annoying customer. I spent $1000.00 on a new iPhone X and had problems so I went in the store to exchange and Darlene was there. Darlene told me I should have bought a Google phone. Darlene did not want to help me. Darlene told me to go to Apple. I pushed and Darlene went to get her manager who actually sided with me to replace my phone. This made Darlene mad. Darlene was even ruder to me. Darlene didn't say anything positive or nice. Darlene didn't say thank you and when she walked me to the door she held it again without a thank you for my business as if to say to me to get the hell out. Darlene should be fired. Look at the reviews for the Verizon Wireless corporate stores. Pathetic. And I was told that the last district manager actually got promoted. Sad. Time for a new carrier. read more

Went to this Verizon because my home button on my iPhone 6 was broken. I have had the phone for a year and 6 months and it is in brand new condition otherwise. It has been in a case with a screen protector since day 1. The representative never even discussed fixing it as an option but immediately started setting me up with sales to buy a new phone. Then when I asked about fixing it she said it was impossible and not to bother going to Apple because they would tell me the same thing. When they told me I wasn't available for an upgrade and that I would have to borrow from someone else in the plan I decided to hold off. I didn't want to take one of my family member's upgrade without asking. I then decided to contact Apple just in case. Turns out there is an accessibility option where you can add a home button to your screen and it works just like the actual home button. This was free and took about a minute to set up. So one minute and the phone was essentially fixed. Saving my family members upgrade and about $650. I will NEVER use this Verizon store again. In fact, I will likely be switching to Sprint as soon as my plan expires in June. read more

Yesterday I went into the store with a nightmare story of dealing with verizon wireless tech department over the phone. It was off and on for a month. Darlene, the sales person was terrific we went about the business of getting a new Iphone 5. We hit a small glitch but after speaking to Mike, the manager,he fixed the issue in a minute. His good will and customer service was outstanding. He wanted to make me happy and he certainly did. I have purchased all of my phones here and will continue to do so.
