Do not get xfinity if you have any other option! If you do, for god's sake do not ever do a an ownership transfer. It will somehow fuck up your credit score for life. Customer service had no idea how to fix it, or even let me pay off the debt I shouldn't owe in the first place. My experience started off terrible. All I wanted to do was drop off a cable box. Was told by the receptionist that I would have to wait to talk to someone. Six employees working. They were waiting on one customer while three of us waited on those other five employees to help us. After waiting for 10 minutes I asked the receptionist to just take care of the box as I needed to leave. Then Brian asked what I needed help with. I commented that I wasn't trying to be a pain and the guy actually said, "Yes you are." Come on man. I wouldn't have been that way if you or others would have made your customers waiting around a higher priority. I asked to see the manager who helped me. She was phenomenal. Turned a 1 star visit into a 5 star.I will admit I could have handled the whole situation better. But when a simple drop off becomes a long drawn out ordeal with an employee with an attitude you inadvertently get short with people. I did apologize to the receptionist on the way out. Xfinity corporate - You should give the manager a raise and get Brian some much needed customer service training. read more

I was at the Burlington store to open an account and I was assisted by Ryan, he was very helpful, attentive and patient.

I've dealt with this store both to pick up new equipment as well as return what wasn't needed and it's sufficient, beating the RMV style location they have in Malden where everyone seemed completely miserable. The parking here is so much more ample also unless Kings is busting at the seams. The first visit, I had a wait time of 10-15 minutes which is fine since it feels like you're in some sort of mall electronics store and there is plenty of other things to do to keep you occupied. Seating areas with big TV's going along with periphery equipment for sale that you can pick up for your home big-rig for a better overall experience. It feels like the combination of an Apple Store and ATT Store if you've ever been to both. The equipment pickup visit was much longer because I had many questions about the X1 box (which I ended up hating but that's a whole different type of review on a different site). The rep was very patient with me and knowledgeable about the product so that was so refreshing to see after some issues with the teller type windows in Malden. The returning of equipment and cancellation of my cable was no more than five minutes. I expected them to ask me many questions as to why I was but he just said "chord cutting?" and I stated, "no, just trying to slash my monthly budget to begin the new year" and that was it. I received a full receipt for my items and was on my way out the door. For Comcast, they made the experience pretty painless. But I also had to spend some time researching how to cancel service and the best way to do it. That took up close to an hour of my time just so I could have an easy five minute visit at this location. I wouldn't recommend cancelling over the phone, do it here. I have a hard time giving Comcast five star anything and the show they put on with the beautiful store is indirectly coming out of your pocket with super high prices on their packages. read more

Absolutely no customer service. They quote you a "bundle price" of $64 and your monthly bill is over $120. Then you can't get anyone on the phone. read more

Great experience. Blustery and bitterly cold January day and I was holding onto large boxes and balancing them while trudging to the store. I almost went home but decided to stay to ask my questions. Then Shoshane came to work. She was AWESOME!!! She was fast, put me on the customer wait list right away. Later she helped to pay my bill at the auto payment machine. She's wonderful!!! I would like to have her help me next time when I visit. Absolutely terrible experience trying to buy a new phone. The employee couldn't find my account despite me having my account number and all pertinent information on hand. He became downright hostile at one point. This was my second attempt trying to buy a new phone with them that day alone. The first attempt they said I needed to bring the account holder of the cable and internet account in, despite the mobile account being a completely separate account and transaction every month. Even with that account holder present the second time, the attendant somehow couldn't find my account that the rep earlier in the day could find. When I tried to give more information he became hostile and condescending. Cancelled my account and switched to Verizon wireless that night and I could not be happier. Thanks for not letting me pay you hundreds of dollars for a new phone guys! read more

Terrible service. I was trying to transfer my service to our new home after a move. I could hear the employees discussing how they could try and make this a new account instead of a transfer so they could get commissions. I waited there for an hour while they tried to figure it out. In the end they said something was wrong with the system and they could not help me. They committed to call me back once they had it fixed. never got a call. I called them to see what was going on and the rep looked at my account then hung up on me. I am certain that this is yet another case of a sales commission comp plan translating to bad customer service. I am going to look for a new provider. read more

Today I purchased two smart phones at the Burlington Xfinity Store. Ryan and Jason helped me with the purchase and then Ryan transferred everything from our old phones and synchronized each phone to a different computer. Wow, I was impressed! Ryan was calm, professional, knowledgable and personable. We Walked out of the store with 2 fully functional, new phones. The worst- I went in to drop off a cable box- I had canceled a plan for an elderly parent and I only wanted to drop off the box and remote. A nice woman greeted me, took the box and all of my information. Then she handed me a strip of paper with a bar code on it. Now, mind you, there is not a sole in the store- except for 4 associates. She then asks me to wait for the next available associate. What? Why? She explains to me that I now have to have my account canceled by a staff manager. I explain to her that I canceled the account and was just returning the box and remote. A gentle man walks over, I hand him my piece of paper, he makes small talk- I ask him why the double work- why can't I have dropped the box and been on my way? His response- and I quote, " well then our greeter would not have a job and she would not be able to purchase Christmas gifts for her family''. WHAT? He then adds, ' our company spent millions of dollars on this format and they know what they are doing." And I wonder why my cable - basic cable and internet mind you, is so expensive. What a waste of time for everyone- and yes, this is why cable is so expensive- and you aggravate people by wasting their time. read more

I just wanted to say thank you so much to Julie the store manager in Burlington . I had called the 800 number several times today to deal with an issue I was having with a new box setup I picked up in Lowell today. Not having much luck with them after being on hold and listening to a automated operator for 20 minutes I hung up very frustrated. I called the Burlington store which for some reason is the only one with a local number .I was fortunate enough to have the phone answered by the store manager Julie who was more than helpful to me.! Although she could not solve my issue over the phone I was so impressed with her attitude and her willingness to at least try to help me and I just wanted to say thank you well done !Xfinity you're lucky to have her !! perhaps you could send some of your other employees to her so she could train them in the proper customer service skills. Terrible experience in returning cable equipment. I get in thinking all I have to do is drop the equipment - they will scan it and hand me a receipt but no - the receptionist scanned the stuff and gave me a barcode number and a waiting token. What??? What do I have to wait for? She said a sales associate will go over your account and hand you a receipt and credit your account. I told her I have already called and cancelled my service and they settled my account on the phone and all that was left to do is return. She said it's a policy - makes no sense! So I wait in line and they have 2 "sales associates" who were selling services, mobile plans, helping customers setup their cell phones and other random shit. They were also the same folks responsible for returns. Not sure whey they could not just dedicate one guy to handle returns which is what other places in my past experiences have done. It was close the lunch time and I had my 18 month old child who was getting anxious and there were others in similar predicaments and frustrated with the ridiculous process. One customer asked to get the manager and the receptionist went in to call them. He/she never showed up to talk to the man who asked for the manager. My token time came up and I walked up tho the receptionist and she said there is still a wait of 7 people ahead of me which is when I left and will try to handle this another way- probably phone. The receptionist told all the new arriving customers mad at the process that she did not work there so could not answer much. I'm sorry but that is not an accepted answer - either she is lying or they should really have a company rep over there! Not sure if this is a franchise owned location or corporate but the experience was bad - they need to fix the return process and stop selling shit to people who have already decided to jump ship because of some genuine reason. read more
