I am extremely frustrated with Verizon Internet. Their customer service is absolutely terrible. The store employees refuse to help you unless you are opening a brand-new account, which is ridiculous. If you already have service, you're forced to call customer support and sit on hold for over 30 minutes -- sometimes longer -- just to get any kind of assistance. To make matters worse, the internet service itself is unreliable. The connection constantly goes in and out, making it impossible to depend on. Between the awful customer service and the unstable internet, Verizon has been nothing but a headache. Verizon confirmed in writing that my service would not be interrupted, then shut it off anyway. I was later told it would be restored within 30 minutes to 1 hour, but it still wasn't. Wait time was minimal which was great but the employee who helped me had no idea how to do the simplest of tasks, he had to grab a manager for everything. My sister went in tonight to add a line for her son. Makayla was very misleading and told her she had to add the insurance, cloud storage, Apple Music and other unwanted features like hot spot. She tackled on $50 in features that weren't asked for. I work for corporate wireless and i know all those extras aren't something you HAVE to add on. Completely unacceptable. Please retrain your employees and make sure this doesn't happen with future customers. My experience was excellent here. Went to pickup online order today and was my first visit to this store. They had perfect arrangements due to COVID situation. A guard outside who makes you stand outside with 6 feet social distancing. They had mark on floor outside directing where to stand. Someone comes out to assist you and I must say associate was immediately there to attend me. Since it was pickup order so i was handed over the package outside itself instead of being taken inside. Associate was prompt and very friendly. Everyone had mask on their mouth. Nice smooth experience on my first even visit to this store. read more

If I could rate this experience lower I would. I dealt with verizon online for 5 hours trying to upgrade my phone and take my watch line off and order a tablet. That's it. 5 different reps to give me 5 different stories. Finally processed both orders to the wrong address, I explicitly told them that it was the wrong address. One told me they could fix it, one told me that I could change it...another said I would have to start the process all over in order to correct it. After 5 hours I was exhausted of dealing with them for my issues. SO I let both items be shipped to my mother in a different state. After letting her knwo they could just give her a label for my ipad not my phone since apparently this is my fault...they came back with oh sorry we have to return the tablet and redo the order. dont worry nothing changes. Until they charged her over 100 dollars just to redo what they messed up in the first place. EVERYTIME I deal with Verizon its 2 hours minimum....nothing is quick, easy or what they say it do be. Ok we have had the BEST experience we have ever had upgrading 3 phones. Jose from this location is incredible. He assisted with getting us a similar plan to what we previously had, keeping our same benefits (Disney+) and getting brand new phones around the same price as what we used to pay for as we had just paid off our phones. He gave us a great trade in value and even after we returned our phones, he was still giving us advice on charger cord purchasing (with the new universal cords). THANK YOU JOSE!!! read more

My business partner and I purchased the Galaxy fold 3 phone from Verizon after having it for 4 months the center screen the large screen developed a white line in the middle of the screen where the joint is the screen does not come on we can still use the secondary screen when the phone is closed so we went to Verizon to have them replace it with a new one hopefully but no and obviously this is a an ongoing occurrence with these phones so I recommend you not to buy a Galaxy fold phone of any kind because Samsung does not stand behind their product nor does Verizon stand behind their products that they're selling they make us use used phones that have been refurbished and they'll send them out to you we got the refurbished which has some defects on the spine of the phone we purchased our phone for over $2,000 and they're sending us a refurbished phone that's not worth $2,000 and then they're saying that once they get their original phone back to their text and they determined that there's cracks that we're going to have to fork out another $2,000 for the phone that they just sent us that's ridiculous so if this is the practice of Verizon not standing behind their product or Samsung not standing behind their product then I would say no do not purchase anything from Verizon or purchase anything from Samsung because they're not going to warranty any of it but make you get a used phone if anything goes wrong I wish I could give you no stars because one star isn't sufficient enough you need to have zero Stars for this customer service read more

After spending 12+ hours on the phone with customer service, trying to switch from AT&T we have to wait a week to even get an appointment to try and get our phones. Put in an order, credit was run, we get an email in the middle of the night saying our order has been cancelled. Call customer service and says "this happens a lot" WHAT?! Why does this happen a lot? Then they say our order actually hasn't been cancelled. Go to the store and they should have our phones. We wait a week to go to the store because we HAD to. We get there and the lady says there's nothing she can do they don't have our order even tho we have a receipt. Saying what we paid for. This service and experience has been absolutely ridiculous. Ordered two phones online and the store manager Alex attended me once I entered the store. She was fast and brought me to a desk where Martha brought my phones out with cases and screen protectors. Went in to get a phone activated yesterday. The gentleman at the door immediately checked us in with a smile. We perused the latest and greatest phones and tablets out at the moment. After about five minutes, a friendly sales rep assisted us and quickly activated our phone. The quick thinking rep saw that we had been lingering in the tablet section of the store and informed us of the 50% off deal on all tablets plus a rebate on the specific tablet we were interested in. Unable to let an excellent sale pass me by, I purchased the tablet. The kind rep activated and set up the tablet up for me. When done, the rep proceeded to walk us to the door, held it open and wished us a good evening. This my friends is excellent customer service! read more

The reps must all be on high commission sales because they won't help you return a defective product or lower your bill. This time it was because a jetpak did not work and they can only take it back if I pay over a hundred dollars because it was under contract. What contract? According to them I signed one. I've been with Verizon for years, for both my business and my husband's. We have at least six lines so I don't write this review lightly. I've never had anything but excellent, honest service at the Camelback store. This store, different story. We upgraded one of our phones last month and the rep encouraged me to take a Bluetooth saying it wouldn't cost anything, it was part of the upgrade. I get the bill two weeks later (after it too late to take it back, BTW) and there's a charge for $89. I called Verizon, and they tell me go to the store. I asked for a manager at the store, they tell me, "Let an employee handle it. The manager is busy." After 25 minutes of them giving me lip service and insisting I talk to the scoundrel who convinced me to take the device (which I don't use but only took because it was part of the package, allegedly), he said, "I never told you it was free." I responded, "That's why I asked 25 minutes ago to talk to a manager." This guy's name is Alex. But believe me, you want to avoid this store like the plague. This is one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. After a 45 minute wait to speak to someone about an upgrade, I then waited 3.5 hours for them to complete my transaction. The sales agent had no idea what he was doing nor could he explain the feature differences between two phones. When he could not resolve my upgrade issue we enlisted the help of the manager. He unfortunately was unaware of very important company procedure changes that happens over a year ago. I was either misinformed or bold face lied to.. Either way unacceptable! Then "Antonio" there are two by the way, ask me about my insurance, I said yes and then I had to call the insurance myself and want it to charge on my cell phone $150. I had just purchased a 5th phone and phone line for my family account only to find out hours later that they never activated the account at the store. When I returned to the store for assistance the manager Kelsey greeted my by sighing and telling me how busy she was. While looking into my issue she continued to sigh and complain of her work load while being extremely rude to me during the entire process. Not sure why she was upset with me for their mistake. Once the stores mistake was finally corrected I explained to her that I have a family account and have been a long time customer, in good standing with Verizon. She actually told me I was rude and should learn how to talk to people. As an older man, I have never been spoken to in this way and was completely shocked that a retail establishment would allow that kind language to a customer, especially by management. I will be filing a formal complaint both with the store and with Verizon. Please avoid this store at all cost. There are many other Verizon locations to choose from. read more

About a week ago today, Verizon wireless customer service advise me to make a payment at the store. So I drive to the Peoria by metro location. As entering the store a gentleman by the name of JP greeted me and was willing to help me with my payment. So I paid the amount I owed to turn my services back on like the rep told me over the phone. JP (store rep) told me to give it a few mins, as I waited 10-15 my phone did not work. While customers were coming in to buy and get new services, he was nice enough to help me with the problem. While he could be make money/ Commission, he was willing to help to get customers on the phone and wait with me for over 30mins. After my problem was resolved, I thank him so much. If you ever need anything at all with your Verizon, I would ask to speak to him. He was so helpful and concerned about my issue that he went above and beyond. We asked him for a tablet, no data just the tablet and he gave us the tablet and lied to us that it came with out service. When we left the store we noticed the tablet had service, and came back and he just laughed and said they only come with service. He refuse to fix the mistake, I also question the Suddenly spam calls I been getting and not just me also my coworkers from work. Tried the online and it kept crashing. I was told I could go to the store. The manager told me they really only like to do pick ups and I explained my situation.
