just received response from verizon. still no solution for a phone not working. never once mentioned there lack of responsibility. its clear they do not want return customers. I did purchase a new phone yesterday, not from this branch with terrible service and leadership. with so many bad reviews I dont think they will be there much longer. maybe they can call 611 for help. read more

I used to be a big fan of Verizon. Recently, everyone that I know using Verizon-enabled phones have been having connectivity issues. Not sure if it has to do with the recent strike or something more technical happening in the background with aging infrastructure, towers or.... just crappy service. Whatever this issue is, I can't have a conversation with my friends and colleagues on Verizon these days without dropped calls. (And it's not me 90% of the time). I accompanied a friend to this store to get a new sim card (as this is the prescribed solution - it worked for one of my colleagues). The guy that helped her (didn't get his name) treated her like she knew nothing about technology, was condescending and clearly didn't have a clue himself. (Oh - my friend has been working in the tech field for over 20 years.....and DOES have a clue). So, she left without taking care of her problem and will go to another store. We needed a new phone and went and bought one, the people were nice and although we had to return a few times due to technical difficulties the employees were nice and happy to help. The Verizon aesthetic /the feng shui is not nice and maybe why they have so many bad reviews but it's not the employees fault that they have to dress like they work on the Death Star, anyways thank you for the help and the positive interactions. read more

I stopped there yesterday, 12-29-22...to deactivate my cell phone...had it for 8 years and rarely used it... Should have been an easy process...right...? Wrong... The 1st employee, a young woman, who seemed irritated that I asked for her help, informed me that I should do this by phone...tried it 2 months ago...got nowhere...She wanted my pin number...I had no idea what it was, since I'd never used it...She again informed me that I had to call the number... In frustration, I asked to talk with the manager...no response from her...I asked the older, portly employee next to her, if he would please call the manager...He, very rudely...informed me that he was busy and not to bother him... The last, young gentleman employee that was there, asked if he could help...YES...!!! He contacted the right person by phone, and he got the phone deactivated ... He was very helpful, courteous and a real credit to Verizon...unlike the other 2...rude, and, apparently...hating their jobs... read more

She LIED told me, "yes guaranteed!" 5 times I reiterated!! I was overjoyed and accepted the offer and paid the $178 went home happy customer..cost me $178 for 2 days internet!! Went in for my Zagg screen protector replacement. Went to the counter as one rep was with someone and the other at counter with a customer. A couple walk in, rep on floor greets them, signs them in after talking with them. Another person walks in rep approaches and I nicely say, I've been here waiting. So he says ok I'll sign you in- after the people who came in after me. My issue would've taken maybe 5 minutes but you do t correct your mistake when you realize Ive been waiting ahead of the others... wanted to get at VZW to avoid shipping charge and do they can put it on. I'll stick with another store from now on. Thanks for no help and not fixing your oversight when it was nicely brought to your attention. No one said hello, or they'll be with you in a minute. Forced into a contract I didn't agree to. Salesman "yuri" was less then helpful, when asked to provide me a contract or agreement I signed he just kept saying the same thing on repeat without being able to come up with any real answers. Also they are extremely slow to help you. read more

Went to this shop to get help setting up my way overprice I phone and transfer my data from my old phone because I couldn't get it to work. After waiting for 45 minutes the guy asked me if I tried turning it off and then turning it back on again. Of course I did! Is that Verizon wireless training? When that didn't solve the problem I was told he didn't know what was wrong and that he had other customers. Thank for nothing. read more

Worst customer service ever! Don't bother with their "insurance plan" the sales reps will not be able to do a damn thing, but instead give you some card to some 3rd party insurance carrier that will then tell you that you need your make, model, and pin number (which if you don't have you will have to go to the Verizon wireless store), and that you have to download and print an affidavit (something the sales rep did NOT tell me), then make a copy of your ID, and then send back to them via email or fax. When I had an AT&T contract, my wife's phone died, they did everything at the AT&T store! This is ridiculous. When you call this carrier, they repeatedly tell you to go to their website to file a claim fast, what they don't tell you is that again you will need to download their affidavit, fill it out, scan it, take a picture of a valid id, and then fax or email it all back to them. Not very "speedy". Nobody on the phone was able to do shit for me. None of the sales reps in the store will tell you this though, because they know you will make a bee-line for the door and go with another company. Ironically though, they don't require any of this when you pay your bill. Oh and good luck trying to call the store and get through to anyone. After I am done paying off this phone I am cancelling Verizon service and going with a reseller. This isn't how you do business, . read more

Verizon network has been broken all summer in the Queensbury-Lake George area-- SnapChat and Pokeemon brought it down. I had to switch from ATT which is far superior and personel-wise a huge step above these people, due to my company using Verizon extensively with network extenders/repeaters. They sold me a new phone and plan that does not function even close to what I was promised. Has caused me a huge loss of time and productivity. There was one honest employee that aside told me they have been having problems all summer, as a line of people waited to be sold a bill of goods. Welcome to corporate America. I have had a cell phone since 1990 and have heard all the doublespeak and BS for years. They keep telling me to do the same old tricks and nothing works. Get yourself the SPEEDTEST app you'll be able to see for yourself. Very low upload/download speeds and "network issues" .I have used this app for a couple years and ATT was nearly flawless. And the occasional times I had problems they gave me a $20 credit graciously. I am filing a complaint with the Attorney General of NY. I encourage everyone to do so. It's rather easy to do online. This ripoff has gone on long enough. keep in mind: I HAVE A NEW PHONE AND NEW PLAN FROM THEM AND THEY CAN'T MAKE IT WORK. All I get is doublespeak. Unbelievable. Paul C read more
