Missed opportunity! I purchase a new iPhone online and picked up at this store. I explained to one employee that I wanted to transfer data from my old phone to the new phone. And then transfer data from my wife's phone to my old phone. "No problem," he said. He got distracted by another customer. So I found another employee who said the same thing. As we were about to get started, he consulted a third employee who then revealed it would cost $30 per device. I decided to do it myself. Employee 2 said it's easy and explained that I just need to place the phones next to each other and follow onscreen prompts. I wondered then why they charge $30 if it's "so easy." So I went home. I started with my new phone first. several hours later and a few false starts with random error messages, I finally got all data transferred. However, my old phone, which became my wife's new phone, showed my old number. Well, I forgot entirely about SIM cards, having never had to touch them before. On day two, frustrated by why my old phone retained my old number, even though my new phone (using eSIM) also had the new number, I was back to scouring the web for help. Had any of my three friends at Verizon told me to switch the SIM cards in addition to transferring the date, all would have been well. Missed opportunity! Finding great service nowadays is getting seemingly more difficult. Hence my low score. read more

I felt the whole time something was sketchy but had already spent 2 hours their so went forward with my purchase. Luckily I called the Verizon hotline today and they took off so many charges from what the store was charging me. So many lies to get an extra dime. January 2023 bought a watch which was a promo. Got charged full price been fighting it for 3 years. Manager repeatedly said she fixed it at the time and Verizon says they can't help me at all. It's been a battle going on for three years with our account. Can't wait to pay it off and go back to T-Mobile. We only transferred because of number of lines, but it's worth it to pay a little bit more and go back to T-Mobile. read more

Everytime we've tried to get help here, the service is horrendous. Today we went to upgrade our phone and were met by the "manager" Connor. There was one other couple being helped by another staff member. Connor informed us we would need to wait for someone to help us. Confused, we asked why he couldn't help us as we were the only other customers in the store. He snapped back that he was supervising the other employee. I said that didn't make sense that he wasn't doing anything and making us wait. He again snapped at us and said if we didn't like it to go somewhere else. While we were trying to decide if we wanted to wait, ha asked if we wanted to wait and my wife said we came here because it usually had more staff. he said I don't think we are going to be able to help you. we didn't yell or be rude but simply stated that it wasn't good service to make people wait when he could have helped us. I've never been treated so rudely or been so baffled by this model of service before. Connor definitely needs some training in customer service and just how to treat people in general. read more

They lied about promotions that were available and charged us more than they should have for a new phone. Verizon phone support was able to work through it with us, but it took an additional hour and a half phone call that we shouldn't have needed to make. read more

Run don't walk away from this Verizon store and Verizon service in total. We signed up for Verizon service during a promo giving us new phones after bill credits. We traded in our old phones and everything seemed fine. 5 lines in total. The first month our bill was over $300 which the rep said was due to taxes and fees, but we paid the tax in store we thought. They told us that it would get fixed by the next month. Fine. The next month came and we got another bill for over $300. This time they told us that it was due to a billing issue and that it would be fixed by next month. This went on month after month for 4 months before we finally said forget it and called all of our service with VZ. Went to two different VZ stores and spoke to 5 agents who all told us that it was a mistake and that it would be fixed. It never was and we needed up paying over $300 a month for four months when our bill was suppose to by no more than $150 a month. Verizon has lost customer forever and I will be telling all my friends and family even strangers to watch out. read more

It's incredible disappointing to be lied to by a company we have been with for almost 2 decades! To be flat out told a lie, even with it being documented doesn't seem to matter to Verizon. They don't care at all about customer service because they have a monopoly on wireless services. If an employee from a company promises you a credit, and gives you a " confirmation number for the credit " you would assume it's not a lie, and expect to see it.... Well that didn't happen! I was told I asked for it but it didn't get approved... confusing, yes! If someone tells you it's not a check, but it will be a credit on your account what would you think?? If they also said this is your confirmation number for the credit, what would you expect? Almost 20 years of being with this company and to see that they no longer care is disheartening! They put ignorant people to answer the phones that tell people lies! This is not the Verizon I signed up with 2 decades ago! DONT TRUST VERIZON! If they promise you anything, tell them to email it in writing before you hang up!! Or have them text you a message stating the credit or change! DONT BELIEVE ANYTHING THEY STATE!! read more

I came into today and had a very pleasant customer service experience. My only problem with this Verizon is when I purchased my phone the salesman skipped the contract and just asked for signature. I then declined and read the contract. I had many questions, but the employee told me "I've never actually read this" YOU'VE NEVER READ THE CONTRACT YOU USE FOR EVERY PURCHASE IN THE STORE!!!! Nice clean store in Herriman. Mynor is a great solutions specialist. He makes all the difference at this store. You can tell he genuinely cares about his customers. Any issues I've had have always been solved by Mynor. If he doesn't have the answer right away, Mynor will go out of his way and find the answer for you. Customer service at its finest. read more
