I have purchased 5 keyboard cases and many screen protectors from Zagg over several decades. The hinges on three of the keyboard cases broke, two while still under warranty. Getting warranty replacements from them is a frustrating nightmare. The first one never came back in stock. After about 5 months of waiting they eventually agreed to give me the next model up. The second one was in stock, but what I assume was an AI Bot canceled my replacement because it mistook the requested pdf of my receipt as an image and claimed it couldn't read it. A human agreed this was a mistake and suggested I resubmit the request. Only when I did so, aha, the case came up as out of stock. (I have my suspicions.) They have offered the lower model instead this time around. I am not taking that "offer" and I am not waiting 5 months this time. Friends and I have also noticed that their screen protectors aren't holding up very well either and must be replaced fairly frequently. (I am an adult and not hard on my devices.) read more

Stay VERY FAR AWAY from this fake company. Zagg direct "customer contact" Sidney Collver, is nothing but a DROP SHIPPER, most likely originally from India. Speaks very good English on the Better Business Bureau. They make good wired keyboards that I had bought through Amazon in the past, but I am no longer dealing with Amazon as they are another story.... same crooked type of business run by the same Middle-Eastern people. I tried to order (3) of their keyboards - like the ones I own. They don't communicate with you, and they steal your money! If something is wrong with them, they will make you pay to ship the items back. You can NEVER get your orders cancelled! The ONLY way is to FILE A CHARGEBACK. Anyway, I never heard from them if they shipped my order or not. The only way to get any human contact is to file complaints against them on the Better Business Bureau. I was reading the complaints and saw that this company uses UPS Mail Innovations to ship their items. Sidney Collver LIED about my order going to be shipped FEDEX and to wait for them to provide me with a tracking number. So, I would look on my FedEx app AND my UPS app, and finally today, what do I see? UPS shows a package coming to me from CALIFORNIA! But then, the shipment CANCELLED ;-)))))))))) They cancelled my shipment because I had filed a chargeback on them because they are a SCAM. I ALSO CHANGED MY CREDIT CARD NUMBER immediately, because "Zagg" has been known to make unauthorized charges on people's accounts, so I took heed in doing just that. So anyway, I was not notified at all if my order was cancelled ;-)))))))))))) They even have a website, and there have been NO UPDATES ON THE ORDER WHATSOEVER. This crooked establishment is CRIMINAL. Stay very far away. Anyway, I was able to get my keyboards from B&H Photo out of New York. You are better off getting them through a big store outfit like B&H Photo, or say like Staples, who also sells them. And if you don't get your orders, simply go to the Better Business Bureau or FILE A CHARGEBACK!!! It works. Also, this Zagg outfit ships broken items. Ordered a UV sanitizer from Zagg directly, the light stays on when opened (it's supposed to turn off), my kid stared right into the UV light. I contacted them, it took 2 weeks to get back to me, ZAGG customer response (i would not call then support or service) told me I had 10 days left to return any Zagg products with their 30 day return policy but I have to pay for shipping. I don't always leave 5 star ratings, but when I do I prefer dos Zagg Invisible Shields. One for the front and one for the back of my devices. Duh. I don't know how much you can expect out of customer service reps these days, but I do know that the folks at Zagg have ALWAYS exceeded my expectations. You name it: quick to answer the phone, quick to fix a problem, happy to listen and make suggestions, resourceful, and when all else fails, good ol' fashioned courtesy. This company really is zealous about customer service, and every time I call it puts me in a good mood. I was not excited about the attitude recieved when asking for a replacement for the shield I had replaced about 2 weeks ago. I have always had a shield placed the first day I purchased a phone for about 8 years now. The last shield lasted about 18 months, you would have thought this would have lasted longer than we weeks. This review is for their shields for iPhones as well as Fitbit only. Each and every time I purchased their shield for my iPhone (purchased through my Verizon store)it busted or cracked within two to three months. I am NOT hard with my phone either. They offer free replacements as long as you register it, however, if you are impatient like I am, you want, or need, it immediately. It's SUCH an inconvenience to have to wait for the replacement and then schlep it over to my carrier to help put it on my phone. My time is important to me and regardless of their replacement, their product is a piece of crap. I currently have a competitors shield on it right now for well over a year and have had no problems whatsoever. Now, what caused me to write this review..... I just got a Fitbit for my birthday. I went to Best Buy and thee only shield they sold, in their stock, was Zagg. I immediately cringed when I saw the name but I was at their mercy. How is it possible that this too is a piece of crap. For $19.99 you get only one plastic shield. Yes, once again highly disappointed. My boyfriend threw it into the garbage because of the fiasco of trying to get it off the sticky strip. Finding out this is Zagg's Flag ship store was very disheartening!!! During the Virus Pandemic this was the only location opened during the first months of the pandemic. The staff itself is good but it seems the management is greedy and money hungry!!! We needed our screen protectors replaced and they would tell us they had run out of them to come back next week. This went on for SIX WEEKS!! Finally I found out from the employee that they were holding off replacing customers (that have been faithful to the brand) screen protectors only to sell them as a new product to new customers so they could make more money!! Selling a new screen protector is $50-$70 versus replacing is $12 or $15 (I forgot the price). Yes I understand about making money, but don't forget those that have been faithful to the brand!! The company does not tell you how their product works. I brought a Morphie 6100. When I used it. It only kept my phone working a hour. I was taking photos. Called up customer support and they are tell me that It is Verizon fault for miss leading the product. The booklet or webpage does not say any thing what 6000 mAh means and how long you can use it. Called customer's service and they say that this big block only charges the phone for one charge. I have a smaller one that is the size of a phone and lighter. That one keeps the my phone charged for 4 plus hours when using the camera app. This is the second item that I brought form Zagg that was not a well made product. The screen cover I had scratched. I was going to get a replacement until I saw how much the postage was. I was able to buy another company for cheaper and it lasted for three years. read more

MacBook, iPhones, Nikon D3s camera, $300 cigar lighter (custom job by a Zagg mall counter, iPads. Oh my goodness. I need to talk to a rep. I've never NOT been able to get thru calling. I've tried **numerous** times and no one ever comes on to answer. I returned my old one and they are about to charge me for it. That's what I'm calling about and there is no way to get thru. I've laid the phone down and more than an hour later I'm still on hold so I know no one is going to answer. I don't know what else to do. The initial price of the screen protector seemed high, but I felt a little better knowing that it came with a "Lifetime Warranty". The screen protector broke right away. I would not have purchased another one based on the short amount of time the first one lasted. Knowing that the product was under warranty, I requested a replacement and was surprised that I was required to pay for shipping. I sent back the old screen protector as soon as the new one arrived. The new one lasted approximately 24 hours before breaking - not even worth the shipping. I have been a loyal Zagg customer for several years. All of my phones and iPads have had InvisibleShields and I have never had an issue with their replacements. My iPad4 has a Zagg Folio with the bluetooth keyboard that I absolutely love. For my new iPad Air, I really wanted the new Zagg Rugged Folio. The delivery dates are at least a week out from the order date though because they just can't keep up with the demand. I had received a discount code in my email and decided it was time to place my order. When I entered the discount code in the shopping cart, I received an error stating the discount code could not be applied. After several attempts, I sent an email to Zagg customer service but did not receive a response. I emailed again that night and yet again two days later. Since I had not received a response from customer service after three days, I emailed the Executive team via the email address on their website. I received a response the next day. The email stated the Executive team read my email and asked this person to respond. He apologized for their lack of response and stated everyone was very busy with new product launches. He asked what discount code I was trying to use and that he would look into the issue. Apparently, customer service takes a back seat when other things are going on. I never did get a resolution to my problem, nor did they every try to make things right after I voice my displeasure over their lack of customer service. They simply apologized and said they hope to be able to do business with me in the future. Long story short, Zagg has great products at a premium price. If that's what you're looking for, look no further. If you're looking for any kind of customer service, check out their competitors because customer service at Zagg is not the priority and most times is poor or non-existent. As for my new iPad Air, it'll be sporting a New Trent Airbender Pro (at half the price of the Zagg Rugged Folio)! read more

Horrible product!! I've replaced at least 6 Zagg screen protectors this past year between my phone and my wife's! If they were serious about the superb quality of their products they would replace them for free. Instead they charge you $6 to install a replacement which is more than it's worth. They advertise these inferior screen protectors as if they are tough enough to withstand blows from a hammer! Their protector doesn't even adequately cover my iPhone 7 screen. My phone has a crack on the phone screen and will need to be replaced. I'll be looking for a different brand in the future. read more

I would give 4-5 stars from my first experience with Zagg products because I purchased a glass screen protector from Best Buy and when I needed to replace it, they sent the replacement in a timely manner and it was a simple warranty claim. However, after purchasing another Zagg glass screen protector for my new iPhone 8 Plus on July 3rd, I had to replace the screen in August because of my clumsy dropping of the phone. They sent a replacement for my old iPhone 7, I called and they were to ship out the replacement. It took 6 weeks and I had to pay another $5 for shipping for some dumb reason they could not explain. Ok, $5 is insignificant I thought. Well 6 weeks later the screen finally arrived. I sent back the broken screen after they initially sent the wrong warranty replacement screen as I had taken it off before I knew the warranty replacement was for the wrong phone. Then 2 months later I get a charge on my debit card for $43. I called to inquire and they claim they did not get the screen back. Well, they would not get the iPhone 8 screen back on the second warranty screen sent out because I returned it when they initially sent the iPhone 7 replacement in error. They do not understand this by chat or phone. Now I have paid $5 shipping twice for a warranty replacement. Waited 6 weeks in between the initial warranty claim for the correct glass screen protector and now I paid another $43 for the warranty replacement.
