I'm really not liking this target anymore... it's so disorganized and stuff everywhere. It's messy, stuff always missing from the shelves and I think some things are over priced. It was not like this few years back. They need to hire more people. I am wondering if it's all these kids walking around the store. Parents are you watching your kids! This target used to be awesome. Now, it's just a hangout spot for 12-16 year old teeny boppers who seem to have nothing better to do than loiter and run up and down the isles. Target really needs to fix this. It really makes shopping here a pain. Several times my wife has been asked by these kids if they could have dollar. Where are the parents??? It seems like the parents just drop them off randomly at target. Not sure what's going on but this location is pretty bad. I mean, the store usually has everything you need. The parking is okay. The checkout staff is always pretty courteous and helpful. It's literally just the shopping experience and constant dodging the little "Boady's and Dakota's" running down each isle that's a huge turnoff. Never coming back to this location. read more

This Target is trashed. I don't go often however each time I do, there's clothes everywhere. Shoes everywhere, product everywhere and just a downright mess. I don't mean stuff waiting to be stocked although that was the case today, I'm talking about just all over the floor. Employees don't put it back, but the customers don't give a crap. Look at some thing and they don't put it back. They just throw it on the floor? Seriously? Two stars for the courteousness of the person that checked me out. But looking at the employees, it's like they don't care either. Baseball hats, beanies, not even the standard and tan anymore. Place almost as bad if not worse than Walmart. This Target carries Silver Hills bakery bread, which has become our new favorite! So good for breakfast with peanut butter or jam and stands up well for sandwiches for lunch or dinner. Their Justin's peanut butter is a fantastic two ingredient PB with no sugar and no salt so if you're looking for an easy way to eat cleaner this is it! Doesn't require nearly the amount of stirring as some other healthy PBs we've tried. We got the cutest plant stands here that double as an inconspicuous place to set your phone while it's charging if you put them near an outlet. For a while they were selling cute little plants. Think that might have been limited time but we love the little plants we got here. This Target may not be the largest in the area so it doesn't have as many fresh grocery options but it has a good selection of frozen food as well as canned and jarred pantry staples It's always been clean and well organized. The curbside pickup crew here is efficient and friendly. Overall a fantastic Target! Keep up the good work! read more

I mean, it's Target. Who doesn't love this place? This location is pretty stocked. I have noticed the past couple times I've been here, the dollar spot section has been pretty empty. Not sure if it is due to the transition in items or seasons, but I like this area for random items to throw into gifts. After shopping, I noticed one of my deals on the app did not activate even though I had met the minimum. I went to Guest Services and they were able to assist and were as confused as I was to why it didn't activate but my brother's purchase did right after my purchase. Both team members were very polite and helpful - no attitude at all and tried to figure it out with me as I also wanted to make sure I wasn't doing anything wrong. They offered me a gift card for the deal that didn't apply and since I frequent Target so much, I was fine with that as they will get my money anyway LOL It is a generally clean store and I do see many employees cleaning or stocking. We rang the notification at the dressing rooms. After 5 min, a tiny target employee walked up on her phone, made no eye contact and told us to just try the doors ourselves. I did this, they were locked. turns out only 2 of 7were actually being used but we did not find this out until we had waited 35 minutes more because the employee on her phone disappeared. 3 other customers were waiting behind me. I used to adore target but after today, I guess I'll stick with Walmart. read more

Update: I still love target but they definitely need to staff better... we waited 30 minutes In the target pickup and never got our purchased items. I asked the lady if she had our items and her response was "I'd have to look for it and it could take a while." Then when we tried to call about it I listened to my phone ring for close to 10 minutes. Then we tried again with the same result... Super sad about this honestly. Previous review: I love this place. They always have a stocked dollar spot and I love that they have an ulta at this location. However it's a wreck all the time. You really have to search for your stuff here. Isle have stuff all over the floor and the typical clearance end caps have everything just tossed and stacked on it in no order whatsoever. Worst target ever! Dressing room is never open, like no clothing options, and it's always trashed in there.

I may be one of the few thirty-somethings that does NOT love to go shopping, but I can say that my experience at the nearby Target has been mostly positive. As a rule, I shop in the off-hours. I detest (sorry!) shopping when all the moms with several kids in tow are at the store. On the occasion that I do have to visit during the day, I find that the waits are longer and the aisles are more congested with carts, strollers and toddlers. I've noticed that the majority of the store is pretty organized-especially the clothing department (hats off to whomever has to fold all the clothes that people tear apart looking for just the right size). That observation does not hold true for the bargain bins up front. Those are always chaos and have the most people sifting through contents looking for a deal. I'm not sure what the solution is since I'm sure it's profitable, but it does give a poor first impression when you walk into the store. I don't think "cheap" is what Target wants to appear as, but that display screams dollar store to me. The store recently underwent a remodeling and redesign. It's much more modern with excellent lighting. I appreciate that-it has a more upscale feeling to it. And the comforting aroma of coffee from Starbucks up front always puts me in a good mood. read more

This is by far the worst target I have ever been to. It felt more like Walmart because there are clothes literally everywhere all over the floor. Every where you look, you can't find a size because it is so unorganized. This store did not make me feel like I was in a Target. I love target stores in general, but this is one of the worst stores I've been in. It is inundated with teenagers trying to be cool. Riding bikes in store, throwing their Starbucks drinks on the floor. It is out of control. Literally!!! I shop here every week for groceries or whatnot. Only due to the convenience of this store to my home. After this last shopping trip I'm going elsewhere. When you complain to staff they agree with you but they'll just give you the corporate phone number. I know it's not targets staff fault. But I don't want to go to a store where it's just chaos. Middle school aged children running around playing tag, throwing things, dumping items of the floor, and generally making the place a horrible place to stop. I was visiting my in-laws for a few weeks and made frequent visits to this Target. I was shocked and appalled at how many customers I saw flagrantly disregarding the mask policy. I saw several people on multiple occasions not wearing a mask AT ALL. Not children. GROWN ADULTS. I also witnessed employees wearing their masks around their chins on multiple occasions. When I asked an employee about the policy (I am from LA, where you will be removed by security from Target if you refuse to wear a mask) they simply shrugged and said "Some people just don't feel like it". What kind of answer is that? This is a worldwide health crisis. There was a guest checking out next to me at self check out, NOT wearing a mask, and when the employee approached her about it, she said "I don't care". You don't care?!? I was so disappointed by my experiences at this Target I had to file a formal complaint with their headquarters. I cannot believe the management at this store allows for this sort of behavior. I wouldn't be surprised if cases of COVID-19 have been spread here if this is how they run things. read more

This location is always superrrr busy , and I feel like the parking lot is always packed. Once you get inside, it's not the cleanest but it's manageable. Hard pass on the restrooms. You're better off holding it and waiting til you get home. It's a hit and miss whether your item is in stock, so it's better to check on the app first to see if it's in stock. There's always a line, so you're never really there in an out. I do like the cashiers though, they're super friendly and very accommodating when it comes to looking for items. They make the target experience a little better so it helps you look past the uncleanliness. read more

I called target at 9:00pm. Spoke to guest services about an issue... they were kind enough to transfer me to Olivia with security. I spoke with her for about 4 minutes... I told her my issue and she told me to come on up and let guest services know I spoke with her. When my husband arrived she bold faced lies that I even spoke with her ... luckily the person at guest services is the one who transferred my call to her and was able to verify I did in fact speak to Olivia !!! If you're going to have someone in security... at least make sure they are Honest and don't lie. If it wasn't for the GS person, I would have looked like a complete fool. Every time I visit this target, I have noticed the staff is always great about greeting everyone and making everyone feel welcome. This target also seems to be cleaner than other targets. The selection at this store is very top notch as well. They have a great selection of groceries including produce! Then they have a massive softlines section full of kids, men's, women's, activewear, lingerie and the whole 9 yards. Beyond that, I also like the layout of this store. Some of the stores have odd layouts but I find that the layout at this target is well thought out and makes it easy to find things. As an added bonus, I love that they have the Starbucks in the store as well! It is a great addition to the store. The parking lot is massive so I've never had to worry about finding parking and the location is perfect--it is near several lunch spots as well as other stores so you can get all your errands done in the same place! read more

I'd never stepped into this target until very recently. And I thought I had the lay of the land at Target pretty well. They seem to be all over and I seem to be drawn to the big red.. uh.. target, so with the exception of the downtown location I thought I had a pretty good feel for what they were all about. Perhaps my mind is slipping, but I've never seen a Target like this one where they make such a big deal about their bodega grocery section. And the clothing wasn't where I expected it to be. I mean, this is a big department store with signs all over the place, so really I don't have any complaints. But it's worth knowing that if you're used to other Target stores, this one may throw you for a little loop. In the end I was victorious. I found a very lovely book about Justin Bieber (true story) and consider myself a champion for buying it with the cover facing up. I don't fear the judgment of the cashiers. read more

Balls! No really, there are big red balls outside this target. Not sure if they are there as trip hazards, decorations, seating for those not center of gravity challenged, or just play things for kids. All I do know is, I suggest approaching this store from the North, because the day that Salt Lake gets "the big one" and the ground begins to shake, it's going to be like Indiana Jones and Raiders of the Lost Ark with people fleeing from these things as they roll down hill towards Riverton. How can you complain about any store that does its part to find the lighter side of natural disasters?! However, hopefully that doesn't happen anytime soon, since it's a good store. This is a big target with a great selection of....well....pretty much everything except big red stone balls. I know, I've asked, they don't sell them in the store which is a pity since I wanted a couple for the top of my driveway. This is a great store, and checkout staff has always been friendly and efficient on all of my visits there. If I had any complaint, it would be that at time's it doesn't seem they have the checkouts staffed enough. However, they have a Starbucks in it which means you can enjoy a nice caffeinated beverage while you wait in line! The oddest thing about this store is, there's just something about the tiled areas...for whatever reason it doesn't matter what shoe's I'm wearing, it's squeek squeek squeek up and down the aisles. So we went to target and then left and went and got some food. Then we went back and found a ball and all we were doing was bouncing the ball and walking. Five target employees swarmed us like the SWAT and said they had asked us multiple times to leave. They hadn't. All they had told us was to stop sitting in the chairs. This review is for the drive up service. I saw that other reviewers had posted about "the pick up service being the worst". That's not been my experience at all. In a time when customer service jobs are extra hard and stressful it's easier for a customer to leave a poor comment about service. It also makes it more important to leave the positive ones. I have always found that the staff here for drive up service are prompt and professional. I have had strange issues with items not being available and the staff have always gone out of their way to make it right. They have always done a terrific job. In the times that I have had to go into the store I have never seen it unkempt or unclean. I love that I can go into a Target store and not get barraged by music (it's blissfully quiet). read more

Thought their knowledge of the store is helpful, when I say "I don't want to have AT&T" (because Verizon is better), I mean it. Yet these vagrants continue to harass me into joining AT&T. I'd give 0 star but it doesn't go that low. I bought lunch meet that was use by date 5 days ago. I almost served my kids rotten lunch meat. I even called and talked to the grocery section manager, she didn't apologize she didn't offer to make it better she said I could come in and exchange it out. Really?! She said she had just pulled some from the shelf today, and that she must have just missed me. Seriously? The meat had gone bad 5 days ago where were they for five days. I will not go back to this Target. I understand that sometimes you can miss something, but when a customer brings it to your attention and you do not apologize or do anything at all, you just lost my business. read more

Their drive up service is really bad. It takes multiple hours from the time you place an order for it to be ready, and once you are parked at the spot for pickup it takes them forever to bring the items out. I don't know if they are just understaffed or just make drive up service a last priority but they should really work on this. Every other target I have been to has had super quick drive up service. This had to be the worst guest service experience I've had at target. I approached Melina 2x because I didn't get the correct pricing on the tag for a few items. She had not been listening and I had to repeat to her how much these items cost. I asked for her name and snarkily asked for her manager to come to the desk. When I spoke to the manager, Lauren she too wasn't listening. I can understand trying to see the benefit of the doubt on both sides, however I feel as though she didn't want to bother and then said she would speak with the manager about it. Wait... You're not the manager??! Poorly run. I imagine they just need some additional training on customer service but damn you all need to learn how to be polite too. read more

this location sucks!!!! used to be my favorite but it has gone so far downhill. the store is always a mess. my most recent issue was I placed an order for pickup and part of my order was missing. I didn't realize til I got home and couldn't go back to the store.
