I totally got scammed. I cWent in to get my mom a new phone and a glass screen for the both of us. I was taken advantage of. Never once asked for puregear steel 360 tempered glass w/150 ppp 13 pro max for 64.99 each. Was never given an option for any other glass because the salesman was talking to my mom and I and we totally were manipulated and scammed to paying that. Not to mention I never asked for puregear 25w Universal USBPD wall charger adapter white for 39.99 for the both of us. I even asked can't we used our old chargers and he proceeded to say yes and thinking about it now he quickly started talking about something else. I went back to the store to return the charges and he only refunded me for one stating he gave me a deal. He not once made eye contact. Was going to ask for a refund on the glass and read my paperwork that stated there is no refund in it. Now I remember he told me I was signing the screen for returns. I was totally taken advantage of. I can only imagine how many other people get scammed at this store. read more

My Iphone died thanks to the iOS 13 update. I get NO service since last Friday. Joseph at Verizon helped me try to fix the problem and even called tech (who was worthless) and tried so hard to get my phone back working. I previously purchased a unlimited lifetime warranty screen protector for my iPhone 6. After going back and forth with tech support Verizon determined they had sent me a faulty phone which required me to send the phone back. I came in again a short time after with my new phone to get a screen protector reapplied to my new Verizon phone and the customer service agent told me I was not able to get a new screen protector because I hadn't brought him the old one and the $25/$30 would not be refunded. There was zero communication that it was absolutely mandatory for me to bring in the previous screen protector and this was horrible customer service. Great Customer Service: Replace the screen protector and apologize for Verizon sending faulty equipment. Good Customer Service: Apologize for the inconvenience, explain that they cannot replace the screen protector without the previous one but they will discount the purchase of a new one. Bad Customer Service: Sorry boss, you're not getting anything. read more

DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU'RE TRYING TO BUY A NEW PHONE. My iPhone 6 broke, and I was trying to update to the iPhone 7. So I called this store and they will charge you $59.59 as a set up fee PLUS $30 activation fee. When told this over the phone the worker said all Verizon stores will do this which is incorrect. I ended up getting my phone from the actual Verizon store (didn't realize this store was just an authorized retailer, so you can't do in-store pickup from online purchases) down the road, and they do NOT charge like that. I was able to get the activation fee waved bc of a discount we had, and the taxes are only $35. Not much of a difference I know, but $65 for a new phone vs $89.89 for a new phone. This business is just trying to get money out of people by charging unnecessary fees. Just go to the actual Verizon store right on Woodward in royal oak. read more
