This particular day I went in to see Stephen Bradly who had worked with my elderly parents the day prior; they wanted me to see what they picked out. What I noticed is that my mom (who I get my taste from lol) picked out the more expensive option & she said that Stephen showed her a similar unit that had many of the same bells and whistles but was a little less. She sang his praises and said that he was understanding and knowledgeable with the brands and what they have to offer. Although my Moms mind was set on the more expensive one, she said she will come back to purchase from him because he was so knowledgeable & made her feel like she was making a well informed decision! The reason that I gave three stars was because the delivery installation was a nightmare. So I ordered a dishwasher an oven a cooktop, a microwave, a trash, compactor, refrigerator, and a washer and dryer. They got delivered and I paid extra for installation for everything They left and the dishwasher had exposed wires at the bottom and would not work. The wall oven is dented around the frame, and the dryer was not working at all either and on the washing machine the hot and cold lines were mixed meaning when I set it for cold for the temperature of the water, it was piping hot and it shrunk some of my clothes. I called to have them come fix those things that weren't working properly or installed properly and they did come back out, but it was a little bit of an issue to get them here. The wall oven is still dented now I have to have GE come out and replace that because they need a whole new replacement for that. The dryer still was not hooked up properly after the second time and again they said it was an issue with the Maytag appliance so I had to wait while they got me a whole new dryer and installed that so three weeks after the initial delivery I finally got a dryer.

The firm reply, was simply: "We don't Service the ones made in China or Korea. Sorry. Ron's Appliance Service. " So word to the wise - if you know your appliance was made in China or Korea DO NOT waste your time contacting them. They will NOT even try to diagnose the issue so that you can have some hope of not being ripped off by a big name company only interested in making money off the little guy. :( We did not purchase this fridge new. We too like to support local and USA based businesses. Sadly, not being able to afford a fridge of this type new - meant buying it used. Oh well - it was lovely for the six months it worked. So while Ron's service is touted as honest and reliable we were unable to learn this for ourselves. If you have an American made appliance - call them by all means. I have plenty of other examples. I had to put my entire cart back once I learned of the change in price.
