Over the…read moreyears, I bought at least 5 high end camera systems from them including lens and video equipment. That also extended to anything electronic such as Sound System. large screen TV's, Go Pro's etc and of course, a couple of computer systems as well. There was one guy who was my "go to" for cameras but after a while, he was charged with selling and promoting Apple Systems which was a waste because he was firmly rooted in the Wintel Standards. By now, I'm sure he is up and running on the Apple Platform but at the time, it was a blow to me who operates in the Nikon/Nikkor world. Put up with it for a while because in the end, I did get the help I needed. That is till Covie hit. Because of Covid, there was a long period where I could not even get into the store. When I did, everything I needed or wanted to purchase was at the Northlake Store. I had been to the Northlake Store a couple of times but was never really impressed. When we moved from Cornelius to Denver NC, we bought a Samsung large screen TV for the living room. My wife is a football nut, so it was for here. Because of Covid, the only size we could get was 65 inches although what we wanted was the 75-inch model. With that, we also got a Samsung Sound Bar which lasted for two to three months before it went out. Called the Geek Squad and it was dead, and they advised me to take it to the Geek Squad in Mooresville where we bought it. We bought an extended warranty as well. Since we originally wanted the 75-inch model, the technician had informed us that the 75-inch model was now available, and we could upgrade by paying the difference in list price between the two sizes. We upgraded and they just swapped out the Sound Bar for a new one and all that remained was to schedule a time for the Geek Squad to come out with the new TV, pick up the old one and couple with the new Sound Bar. We up and running till about three weeks ago when the sound bar became intermittent. Called the Geek Squad since we pay for their premium service and we scheduled an appointment for last week. Came out and determined that the problem was a defective HSMI port on the sound bar. They suggested we take it back to best buy. Both of the technicians who service our accounts are now out of the Northlake store. In other words, some stores are now Magnet Stores and are centers for technology and resources. Went and checked in with the Geek Squad and could not be happier. The checked the MFG Serial number and it was on the list os Samsung Soundbars that had been recalled. They did not have a direct replacement in stock, but they gave us an in-store credit that we could use at any time. A last comment. While I had been here only a couple of times over the years, they have totally remodeled the store and it is well stocked. Walked back to the Camera Dept and they had at least 6X the number of Nikons that they had last time I was in Mooresville. When I lived in Cornelius, Mooresville was closed but now that I live in Denver NC, it's a wash. That said, I'm going to go to where I can find the merchandise I want and at this time, it's in Northlake.

I got this TV at the end of February and lately it's been powering itself off & on the past 6 weeks. The TV comes with a standard year warranty and Samsung was quick to open a trouble ticket, even do remote management (like when IT remotes into your computer at work) and determined that I did need a technician as it was most likely a fault in my power board/cord. The technician came out yesterday and he did in fact find the error in the power board, replaced it - and replaced the main board as well as a just in case. The only reason I didn't give this review have 5 stars is because I had to repeat my story/issue 6 different times (regardless of the ticket number with all the detail) and the technician was nearly an hour late. At least he was done in about 15 minutes. Great products, great support!

Apparently, if you believe their support person, the refund department doesn't have a direct phone number nor do they have an email that I can use to inquire about the status of my refund. I wonder if their strategy is tho make it so difficult that I give up. I was supposed to hear from them by today but now the tech says they're too busy and it will be 2 more weeks. Stay away from Samsung. It's too late for me since I already ordered a new one but look at other companies uness you want the run around that they're giving me.

I was given a vague "IC issue" explanation without clear testing or proof, and I don't feel a known-good battery was ever tried. I was also charged just for the phone being opened and "checked," without being clearly told about any fee upfront. I left with no real answers and no confidence in the diagnosis. We call to get update next day, different person says 3 more days minimum. Try calling in again for update next day, call is dropped 3 times by them. On my 4th call, I kindly ask the associate to please not transfer me because it keeps dropping my calls. She insists she has to transfer me to geek squad even though I'm telling her I already talked to geek squad and they tried to send me back to the store which then resulted in my call being dropped. She then JUST HANGS UP ON ME INSTEAD. Awful service. Don't use geek squad.
