This Verizon store is a bit our of the way to get to, but worth it. Despite the hassle to switch over from ATT : of the transfer of information from one phone to another, Sarah And Kynan and Shawn were super easy to work with and provided good service. A store that has a heart & a beat! The customer service here is awesome!!! This place filled with friendly and warm vibes that give extraordinarily cares to all the customers that walked in. Shout out to the excellent customer service reps: Kynan, Rachel & Eddie!! (These are the best!) They are bunch of caring individuals that cares for the people that walking into the doors of this location. I have came here few times and I have seem them giving above and beyond support to anyone who needed help. One instance, I came in, a older woman without a ride needed to go elsewhere to pay her bill and the rep here helped her to the next destination with a help of another Verizon customer. Wow. It nice to see a store and the reps here taking care of their customers. Whether you are a customer who is with Verizon or not. Half the time if you do stop in, you be chatting freely with the rep or the customers about life in general and learns a bit about the folks there. The reps there has lots of hearts for all their services they provide for any customer that walks in for any sort of assistance. It's nice to see a store giving much cares to their customers. If you can - go to any other Verizon store. The customer service always sucks but they're the closest store in the neighborhood. I usually only come here to pick up items I've ordered online. But today I had a question about possibly changing the color of the watch I had ordered and what the process would be. The only guy who was working there at 7pm on Nov 21 - told me that they had the color I wanted but with the smaller wrist band if I wanted to take a look at it (wasn't set that i was going to go home with it), it would be a 10 minute wait because of the safe. Which was fine, I just hung out in the store with my niece. While we were waiting another customer came in to see if he could get his plan started (which in my experience tends to take a while to get all the paperwork/phones/terms done) but we were waiting so I thought it would be fine - he would show me and I could decide if I wanted the watch or not which wouldn't take long. It ended up looking like he was going to take a while with the other customer and since again, he was the only worker, I thought it would be best to let him work with the other client since it had been over 10 min and the watch I wanted to see was set aside. I told him thanks but we would be back which he decided to shoot back that I was "waste of his time". When I was trying to explain to him that he had another customer he was taking care of that was going to be taking longer than the "10 minute wait" he kept saying I was wasting his time and called out "bye" when again I was trying to tell him it was fine . do not go to this store! i went in & transferred 2 phones & activated a new line, the sales person told me i will only pay sales taxes for the 3 phones i activated. i was at the store for about 3 hours asking questions before i transferred my service. i ended up paying $600 out the door. i've been trying to talk to a manager at the store for 1 month! i have not received a call back after several calls, messages, text messages & email. i regret switching services from at&t to verizon. i called customer service but i was told there is nothing they can do since it was a indirect verizon store that i went to. read more

For about seven years I was paying $45-$46 per month. Suddenly without any notice, my bill was increased to $61.00 per month. I called and asked if there was any opportunity to reduce the bill! Of course, I got a call bank and got real unlucky with the answering agent. I was told no opportunity and prices increased with inflation. Now, I am an 80 y/o veteran and was receiving a military discount but still $61.00 per month. I signed with T Mobile for $40.00 plus fees/Taxes per month with autopay! I'm a Verizon stockholder. It is no wonder that Verizon stock is in the toilet with this insensitive service! read more

Then I called to Verizon 611 number and they told me just to take back a device, and then this store tried to charge me $70 restocking fee when it's actually $50 as a Verizon 611 customer service representative informed me. And now it've been fourth day they're asking me to come back tomorrow for nonsense reasons. now I'm sitting here waiting to Verizon 611 number pick up the phone because I can't come out here because of my school schedule. I had some issues receiving a phone I ordered at this location, but after talking to the Regional Manager they apparently had some COVID related issues & had to shut the store down temporarily. I was able to call Verizon and they canceled my order and gave me a credit for the inconvenience. Since I was at COSTCO-La Mesa today - the Verizon kiosk there provided me with outstanding customer service and ordered a replacement phone for me. Afterwards, I received a call from the Verizon regional manager for the College Grove store to follow up about my initial experience and he indicted that the store has been sanitized & has now reopened. Based on the above I changed my experience from a one-star to five due to the follow-up. Just a reminder that COVID related issues are real & can affect a retail store's customer service through no fault of their own. In this case, my phone got caught up in the COVID melee; but Verizon corporate made it right and I appreciate. read more
