Absolutely abysmal. Don't try to complain, they won't let you. They will try to do anything other than take a complaint. Got a problem? Do this, didn't work? Keep doing it, just one more time, try a different server. Locked out of your account now? Drive for hours to a corporate facility that will tell you, you shouldn't try the web, just use your phone. Can't do that function on a phone? You didn't need it. Want a corporate number? Can't have it. Want to write a complaint? We don't use email and THE ONLY address we can give you is a out of state PO box and no name to refer to. Look up the home office, you can't get past the automated phone system. Make an appointment to speak to a real agent? They can't do anything either. Worst of all possible companies to try to talk to. Granted there service is great, as long as you don't have a problem. read more

I recently sent my mother into this store to get help with her phone and transferring my 90 year old grandmothers phone to Verizon. My mother got the best service and felt like she wasn't just a customer. Morgan and the manager treated my mother so special even though it was close to closing time. Some stores make you feel like that can't help you because it's almost time for them to head home, but this wasn't the case. Due to the service my mother got my brother a phone and added a line. It doesn't matter if I am buying something or just needing help with fixing my phone, this store always helps me out and I walk out with answers. I also needed help with an old phone and I was help and treated with the upmost respect. I have been a Verizon customer for 15 years and wouldn't change for nothing!! Every single time I've been to this store, they are terrible at helping. And this is not just me saying this, my brother and my son also refuse to go here anymore. Last night at around 5 pm, there were 9 young, male salesmen milling around. I asked one of them to help me and he told me to call customer service (611). I did, but when he went back to his buddies, they were so loud (laughing and playing around) that the customer service person asked me to step outside so she could hear me! Horrible service. I have to admit I typically stay away from entering these establishments as I can generally take care of my business over the phone or online. I had a specific situation which required a bit more attention so I decided to pack my patience and head in.. I was pleasantly surprised. I walked in and was greeted by Sonny, a very friendly and courteous associate. He patiently explained the options and answered all of the questions I had for him. In the end I left a very happy customer. I have been to other cell service provider establishments with friends and have seen how much people struggle with getting the service they need. This has never been a problem for me as a 24 year Verizon customer and I am glad to report the streak continues. read more

Just your average Verizon! Much better than AT&T any day! I use this location for all of my cell phone needs. Came in tonight for the brand new Galaxy 7 Note that was released today on 8/19/2016. I am waited one hour to be seen. But who the heck cares? It's totally worth the wait! They were a little under staffed, but it's all good :-) The staff here at Verizon has been very helpful and easy to work with. I am very happy since I've transferred from AT&T to Verizon! The service and the coverage is so much better. Don't waste your time with other providers. What is also convenient, there is Verizon kiosk inside Costco. AT&T has been nothing but a pain in the butt! Metero.....won't go there! T-Mobile......what's that? I am looking forward to signing a contract year after year with Verizon :-) read more

My top reason is when calling support, you can never, and I mean never get thru to a real person and I hate that. I switched my carrier and in less than a week I cancel and switched back and was told I could not get any refund, do no I do mot recommend them. read more

Went to the Verizon store on 4th St. In Santa Rosa CA. No customer was really in the store and yet my daughter and I waited over 10 minutes, I know not much time 2 customers 3 with me and 6-7 employees a wait makes sense?!? We reviewed options on line and went in to upgrade our phones which when finally got support were told no that credit or trade in does not apply to my account...well I have been a customer since 1997 and that was literally the only store around when I started my account and it should matter. So after being excused from the store I attempted to call customer service support. I found out that is not a real thing and wasted almost 3 hours messengering to be disconnected once and having to start over to be told there is no one to actually call me as they left 30 minutes ago....over 2 hours after I requested a call. I now see my business after almost 30 years is not important to Verizon. I am truly disappointed and will not plan to repeat my error. Mint Mobile here I come! read more

I am too a little upset that I am losing the grandfathered plan of unlimited everything, it was a good run, let's face it, nothing lasts forever. That been said, like anything do your homework, they are offering me a few other plans, They are expensive but you get what you pay for. DO NOT SHOOT the messenger, they have to go with the pricing they are given, & yes they work on commission. First I give this store only one start because their customer service isn't helpful or very friendly at all. Their arrogant employees certainly know how to turn customers away with no help at all and this is over a multiple of 6 visits. Now about the service I pay for the best plan and for some reason my phone is still registering on a 3g network.... So that tells me that Verizon wireless isn't really all that great like they tell everyone quite honestly I've never had more problems with any other provider and I've tried them all and Verizon isn't anywhere near the top of the list so if you want to get great service without the price Verizon shouldn't even be an option unless your the type of person who like to throw away money for faulty services then this is the provider for you read more

On Feb 7th I upgraded my phone from an 8S to an 12Pro. The young lady who helped was great! I got a new phone, some accessories, and an apple watch. I realized a few days later the watch is huge and I have small wrists. I take it back today to exchange it for a smaller one. The young man takes it runs it through the computer and I cannot exchange it. It's brand new never worn, I have all boxes etc. Not asking for money back. I guess I only had 14 days to bring it back. I didn't know this and brought it back on the 18th day. The young man asked his manager if I could exchange it? He says no it's in all the paperwork you signed. I don't need you to be a jerk! And yes you were. I'm not buying a house, it's a phone. It's so overwhelming buying a new phone and being pressured to buy this to buy that and all this stuff I don't need. I was overwhelmed and just wanted to leave. So yeah I missed it but shouldn't be punished for it. I will never ever buy anything from verizon again!! Got ripped off here!! It was quite upsetting to walk in at 6:03pm (they close at 7pm) and to be told they take their last appointment at 6pm. There were about 4 employees, 2 of which were standing at the front door talking to each other when my husband and I came in and not one customer in the store. We explained we wanted to add me to his account and get a new phone and they told us that wasn't possible. It was so frustrating to want to give a company my business and purchase a very expensive item only to be told we are too late to do so by 3 minutes! read more

Postscript to my previous review -- When I arrived and told the manager I had an order for a replacement cell phone to pick up (Verizon's Orbic phone has been beset with battery charging issues), the manager gruffly said the order was not ready. This was a Sunday afternoon two days after being told by a corporate Verizon customer services rep the phone would be at the store and no appointment was necessary, that I should just go in. Today, a Tuesday, Verizon sent an email saying my order and replacement phone had been cancelled because the phone had not been picked up, this after the manager and Verizon email had told me the order was not ready. Today, I called corporate Customer Service again to see what had happened. The first rep said another phone was being shipped to me and that I should receive it in several days. The next said there was no such shipment in progress. Verizon is a company, from corporate to retail, in strong need of a complete customer service makeover. read more

There tech coach is supposed to be 24/7 support but it's only a computer and if you ask for live help it pretends to not understand and hangs up. Went in today to have a SIM card replaced and did not have an appointment. The manager was very professional and quoted me a 20 minute wait which I thought was very reasonable. Within 10 minutes, I was being assisted and, within another 5 minutes, I was out the door. So sorry I did not get the manager's name or the lady that helped me. They were both fantastic and the face that they could fit me into a busy day was very appreciated!!! read more

This Verizon location has really stepped their game up. I wanted to make a special shout out to Zyrus who went above and beyond to support me today. He helped replace a screen protector that seemed a little faulty and also helped me solve a really tedious technical difficulty. Even after several unsuccessful attempts, he kept trying until the issue was resolved. I wanted to acknowledge that he asked his coworkers for help and didn't give up easily. I appreciate that dedication. I'm a happy customer and all is well in my Verizon world right now. read more

This is my local Verizon Wireless store and I have very little negative to say about the location. Every time I come, I receive over-the-top, friendly, efficient service. I don't ever feel like I'm being ripped off or taken advantage of. My only real complaints are these: -Sometimes the employees talk to me on very basic levels. I realize that many customers aren't all that tech or phone savvy, but I don't fit that bill. Still, I can't deal with being talked to like I don't understand what is going on. I am very clear at stating why I am in the store and what I need, and wish sometimes that people would just level with me. -If I just want to buy something, I still have to check-in and wait. I understand there are reasons for this system, but it's also kind of annoying when I have to spend 5 minutes waiting for someone to assist me just to buy a new phone charger. Oh well. That aside, it's still a good location with employees who do seem to be dedicated to helping out customers. read more

This is a two (2) star review for the Verizon store located on 4th in Santa Rosa. The personnel are generally nice at this location but as with all of Verizon's locations, the Verizon business model gets in the way of good quality customer service. The stores are set-up for maximizing Verizon profits, not particularly helping customers. If you want to enter a new contact, the service is about average, but if you are experiencing technical difficulties or anything else, they are of little or no help at all. Consumer Reports is accurate in their findings: Verizon rates the lowest among all in customer service. If I cannot resolve the problem myself today (Verizon personnel at the Santa Rosa store said to "go home and do it yourself"), I will switch carriers. read more

This location has the most horrific customer service I have ever experienced. My sister had ordered a phone for pick up online with someone over the phone and after driving for almost an hour to get to this location they said there was no order that had been placed even though the customer service had no problems pulling up her purchase she has a confirmation number as well and the lady refused to go do her job and check on her computer to make sure there were no errors and that she was correct and not receiving her order. Neither that or consulting a fellow employee to see what they could do to resolve the problem. All she did was say sorry and leave. I would not recommend this location at all! Worst customer service we have ever experienced! If you like getting yelled at by the store manager for something that they did and fucked up then This is your place! read more

I went here twice trying to get a new phone and I've gotten two very different answers. It was very frustrating because of that information I made unnecessary trips when I didn't need to. Every time I made a call I wouldn't get the answers I need. All I've gotten was "I don't know" did not feel helped whenever I came by. I went to another Verizon area and they were able to do everything this store couldn't. I was appalled by the difference.. it felt like no one had answers I was looking for. I bought my husband a new iPhone online with a 2 hour pick up at Verizon to avoid the hassle of having to have someone be home to sign for the package. I stopped by Verizon 3.5 hours after purchasing the phone and was met by a female employee with a nearly shaved head who informed me that not only was my phone not ready, it could take up to 24 hrs. to be ready for pick up. When I questioned her why, she mumbled incoherently and wandered away. Another customer service rep who wasn't an idiot went in the back and emerged with my phone in less than 5 minutes. If you're going to have people meet customers at the door, make sure they're able to hold a conversation first. read more

This store is a joke. A couple weeks ago I ordered a new phone which arrived at my house, broken. I went into this store hoping they could either fix it or order me a new phone. The service I received left a lot to be desired, but I left happy because another associate ended up ordering the phone which was supposed to arrive on Monday. Monday came and went, so I called up the store and spent over an hour on hold. I gave up and drove to the store. The store greeter asked me what I needed help with, and I told her that I was waiting for a phone and mentioned that no one had answered the phones. Her response: "I have to stand over here, what do you want me to do?" What a rude and completely unnecessary response! Someone found my phone in the backroom and Alonso activated it. Unfortunately, I realized later that Alonso had screwed up and assigned my dad's phone number to my phone. I also realized that I had left the sd card from my old phone in the Droid that I exchanged at the store. Fortunately, I called Verizon's support and someone fixed that immediately. The next day I went back to the store and asked Alonso for the sd card. His response: "No, you took the card and put it in your pocket and left." Um, are you kidding?? He'd actually told me to hand it to him and put it in the box! I asked him to bring the box out, and lo and behold, my card was in the box. I also told him he'd messed up activating my phone, "Oh, you must have given me the wrong piece of paper because I used the phone number that was on the receipt." I pulled out my receipt and it had my phone number clearly typed out and highlighted. Instead of aplogizing for being so rude, he says "well that's the number that came up when I scanned it." Not only do the employees not apologize for being incompetent, they also blame you for their own mistakes. Cool. I've never experienced such bad service anywhere, so for the first time ever, I called up the store and asked to talk with the manager. I was told he was busy, but would call me back right away. Of course, he never returned my call!! I was actually looking to buy another phone but since the service I received here was so terrible, I'll make sure to just buy it online. Going to Verizon sucks as bad as going to the DMV. Reason being, you are going to wait, you are going to get ripped off and you are going to leave pissed. Period. I honestly hate this place. Their phones suck and break often, and they find any and every excuse to not warranty or take care of you. In fact, they turn it around like it is your fault, and make you extend a contract you don't want to be in to begin with, just to get a new phone that works, when the one you had shouldn't have broke in the first place. So... I have a Note 7 and it's battery-magedon. ( if you are reading this after all the chaos surrounding the battery explosions...well, just Google Note 7 battery.) I recently went in to find out if this store had received the new "safe" Note 7 units. I was greeted at the door per Verizon Store protocol by Trever. Trever should not be on door duty. He was so rude and unhelpful. All that I wanted was to trade my phone for a new safe one OR at least get information about when was a good time to come back. Trever made absolutely zero effort to be of service. He repeatedly interrupted me as I tried to get clarification about the Note 7 situation. He ignored my questions and pretty much made every effort to make me feel I was wasting his time and I should just leave. At one point he even raised his voice and said, "LIKE I SAID... you can either return your phone or trade it for an S7." In the past year I've visited both major stores in San Francisco (Market Street and Van Ness) as well as the one in Corte Madera... and of course the Santa Rosa store, twice. Of all my visits I have received exemplary service; I mean above and beyond, friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, thorough, don't let me leave without everything I need service... from all the stores...EXCEPT SANTA ROSA...both times! I don't know what is going on at 4th St. The wait times are excessive. The staff is unfriendly and unhelpful. The overall experience is underwhelming to say the least. I do not recommend this store. Take a little drive to your next nearest location or head down to Corte Madera. The entire staff is exceptional. Ask for Ashley, she is a peach and a pro! read more
