if there could be a 0 star rating i would do that! i'm highly disappointed in O'Reillys for even hiring a person like this. I went in to get a battery and some other things and was helped by a young lady named Daisy. This was at the Windsor location. Their breath was so bad I couldn't even compose myself the odor in that store is horrendous! I wasn't greeted at all and when I was being helped, it looked like she didn't even want to help me out! I asked about her day to make small talk because it was a very awkward she didn't say anything and just started scanning my items she said " im here to do my job sir is there anything else you need" i was surprised by that and i will not be going back to that location ever again it was the most awkward, smelly, unsettling o'reillys ive never been too!!!!! read more

I was having some battery issues and in the past this particular place would come out to the car and test the battery on the car. Im clearly handicapped. These people are RUDE RUDE RUDE.... I bought a battery for my car which did not work and they refused to take it back. They have a return policy, but it wasn't until later that I found out that batteries are not honored under that policy. After trying to install the battery with no luck, I took my vehicle to the dealer thinking maybe there was something more than just the battery wrong. The dealer installed a new battery and told me that was all that was wrong with my car. I have had no problems since. I showed them the battery that I bought from O'reilly, and they said they thought that it might be the wrong battery. However... I tried to return the battery to O'Reilly and they said they wouldn't take back a USED battery. I explained that the battery was not USED. I only installed it to find it didn't work so I IMMEDIATLY took it out and tried to return it. They still wouldn't take it back and said only a manager could authorize that return (and of course, he wasn't there). I asked when I could come back to speak to a manager and was very rudely informed they couldn't give me his schedule. Sooooo... I could only return it to the manager but they refused to tell me when I could do just that. Talk about the run-around. I came in three more times, lugging that stupid battery with me only to find that "The manager still wasn't in". I was finally able to resolve the dispute by contacting my credit card company, but I shouldn't have had to go that route... especially since they sold me the wrong battery in the first place. read more

Wife's car threw a CEL while we were on the road. I was pretty confident it was a bad CPS but wanted confirmation. We had had a no start mid way on our trip. Went in and asked the counter guy to pull a code. He said "we don't do that". Well they advertise that they DO. Anyhow, thought I'd buy a CPS and a few cheap tools just in case. They require a mask to enter the store, both countermen had masks on their CHINS! Counter guy was able to locate a CPS, didn't seem too interested in helping me find tools. When I got back to the counter, it looked like a 15 minute wait, just to pay. I left. Understaffed, unmasked, unable to pull a code. Glad I have a well stocked home garage and a GOOD local real parts store. read more

"Hello, I need new wiper blades, please will you help me put them on"? "No"! Whaat - I thought he was kidding but he wasn't - he followed up with "I'm not getting wet & sick"! "What's your name"? "Steve" "Oh I thought it may be Dick"!!! Driving down Healdsburg Ave I saw an O'Reilly's and stopped in. I usually don't take the time to write reviews however, I've experienced great customer service at this store. Trent, the manager, has helped me the last couple of times. He's knowledgeable and doesn't try to upsell me on unnecessary products; he explains things so that I can choose the best option. Do not, I repeat do not purchase from this location. I purchased an item that turned out to be defective and when I tried to return it with the receipt and original packaging they claimed it wasn't their product. I asked for my money back and they refused. They gave me a replacement, which I didn't need because I went to my car dealer to correct the issue that I had. The store manager of O'Reilly's would not accommodate my "reasonable request." I will never go back to this store and please give careful consideration if you decide to support them. read more

I do all my own maintainence on my car, so I spend a good amount of money here. Every time I come in I am greeted by friendly employees who are always ready to help. I can always find what I'm looking for with no problems, and I'm always in and out of the store within a few minutes. However, I have a feeling employees are pushed into "upselling" products. I almost always have someone trying to sell me extra products, maybe assuming because I'm a woman I would buy anything they suggest since I didn't know any better. It just makes me feel weird, because in most cases I wouldn't be considering it, but I don't want to be rude and interrupt them by saying "not interested". I would never hold that against the employees though, I've worked several jobs requiring "suggestive selling", so I know how much management pressures that kind of thing. Because of that, and ONLY because of that, I give 4 stars instead of 5. read more

So I went in an bought a oil filter for my 2000 Kia and it didn't fit and most things I have bought from there don't fit my car. they charged me 5.05 for this thing and I lost the receipt and when i went to Exchange it they said that it was 4.08 not 5.05 which is what they took from me the first time. They do not know what they were doing there!!! Don't go to this one!!! read more

I had a very good experience here today. My battery conquest came about after a jump in Button-willow rest area, a jump at a postal office and the final straw was a needed jump in line for a car wash. I started with Walmart and they said I only needed to charge the battery and the other attendant said that my battery was at least 5 years old and I definitely needed a new one. Thankfully Walmart didn't have a battery for my car in stock so I was referred to O'Reilly. My experience here was amazing and they had my cars battery in stock. They were able to immediately attend to me and tested it twice showing I needed to replace it and Gerardo knew you could tell the date of the battery via the sticker, it was 5 years old. Gerardo replaced the battery free of charge, cleaned off all of the connective pieces and even gave me a 40 dollar discount on a far superior battery than what Walmart has for a price match. My experience was amazing, professional, thorough and my car is once again reliable and purring. read more

I've been here more than a few times, most of the employees have been pretty nice but really don't know much about auto parts or autos in general. Just a bunch of part time workers who can only operate a computer to figure out, sometimes, what it is you might need. Was just there again after I called in a will call and, not surprisingly, the parts weren't pulled. The guys there were listening to a bunch of rap crap with one of their girl friends hiding behind the counter texting, obviously the manager had gone for the day. If you really want to deal with people who know their business, I recommend Autozone on Guernville Rd. and talk to Bob the mgr. this guy and the people he has working for him are very experienced have got there act together. They also have a rewards program and offer military discount! read more

Wow, I came at 8:45 pm they close at 9pm. Gerardo was so nice I told him of my issue after AAA wouldn't replace a battery after 7pm even though the dispatcher said they would 24/7. Anyway, Mitch another gentleman said it was ok to help as I don't know how to install a battery. So Gerardo came out with a cart and worked diligently in the dark to get my battery replaced because its the wine harvest and I explained I couldnt miss any work over this, and im working 12 hours a day. Truly Impressed, I went in here the other day for wipers.. I have an older car with a ton of personality and boy did they treat it with care. I believe Nick was the kind gentleman that helped me. WOW he knew nothing about cars, But everything about charisma. He took awhile to get the job done, but in the end I got to know the young man and it was a delightful experience. this company does not even deserve one star. associate gustavo is very very very rude, sarcastic, mean demeanor. this person needs to know that all businesses back their promise as satisfaction guarantee. bought something for wiper. went out tried it on as soon as find out that its wrong size which of course recommended by their own associate came back right away since we tried it while we were in the vicinity exactly where we parked. asked it we can returned it or exchange bec its wrong size gustavo just answered withour care. no!. we reminded him of their satisfaction guarantee to customers and that rude, mean, horrible gustavo just gave us the most horrible look and kept saying no. the people in this store are rude and sarcastic. the most horrible customer services. i will find out the manager, district manager and all the way to top bosses and report this person. i understand that we have our days our up and downs but the people working in o`rilley do not belong in this place. at the back of the receipts of o`reilly says customer satisfaction is our top priority. we.. to the owner or o`reilly. your services sucks. do not come to this store. your wasting your money the people here do not know what they are doing. they recommend wrong items and then do not help to fix it. no returns no refunds. o`reilly sucks.............. read more
