These people are SUPER honest. I called for a weird problem with my Epson Printer and the man who answered the phone said, right off: "It's usually cheaper to replace a printer than to repair it." I don't like to "recycle" large items like printers (which often means "sending them to the trash"). I thought replacing the printer head would solve the problem, but from my description, he said the issue clearly wasn't the printer head. He then suggested several things I could do to isolate the real issue. I came by my cell repair last week because my puppy accidently dropped my iphone 7 plus and cracked the screen. It wasnt completely ruined, but ive never like a broken screen on a phone, makes wathing netflix alittle annoying. Lol. First Impression: My lunch is at 11am so i dropped by wishing it would be a slow morning & i wouldnt have to wait too long. Justin was the only person there & i thought "SCORE!" Justin was very friendly, asked a few questions about the phone & its working condition, everything worked great, just a slightly cracked screen. He quoted me $130, and i thought that was reasonable. I paid & was told to return in 1 hour. Sure enough came back in an hr & it was ready. He advised me that the inside showed some moisture signs, but my phone was working great still so nothing to worry about. In conclusion: I was alittle worried because my touch was slightly off when texting. Id push "U" and it was selecting "T". I WAS TERRIFIED my phone was ruined. I called Justin right away & told him what was happening. He advised me to back my phone up & update my phone, well...now it works GREAT! Ive had no issues since. Called Justin about my Bose Bluetooth speaker not working with a new battery I purchased. He offered to take a look if I brought it in, which I did. He did a little research and made a couple suggestions since the new battery seemed to be OK. After trying another battery and checking for software updates I had to pronounce the speaker deceased, but Justin was generous with his time and knowledge and didn't charge me for checking it out. For someone who prides himself on being a "Do It Yourselfer" and always up for a challenge I quickly realized after disassembling and losing a few important screws in my shag carpet that I was over my head and Justin the owner and operator of My Cell Repair in Windsor was able to get my phone back on track the same day and he was able identify and correct all my rookie mistakes. The store is actually called My Cell Repair.... I cracked my iPad Air screen, it was completely shattered. I checked on Amazon and could by the replacement kit for $25. I watched a couple of youtube videos and it looked like a daunting task. I have done repairs on older iPods, many laptops and desktop PCs but this was bit much even for me. I gave My Cell Repair a call, they said parts and labor it would be $152 and take a day or two. I dropped it off on a Sunday and had it back by Monday evening, good as new. I appreciated that because I'd then know if there was another, bigger problem that might make replacing the phone a smarter decision.
