I was salivating over the Bowers & Wilkins (B&W) 804D3. I decided on the white ones because they're not something you see every day. They have silver tweeter housings instead of the usual black. They also have gray speaker grilles instead of the usual black. It made for a nice decor scheme for my front living room. I'm very happy to have them. I posted some pics. Bought while adhering to safety guidelines. Mike Ortega was my go to guy. Apparently, there were no white ones within a few hundred miles radius so he had some shipped from the other end of the continent. Worked with Anthony the manager on site when we went in. Seemed friendly and knowledgeable but was clearly not. I asked a specific question about the TV we were shopping for in regards to whether the TV had a breakout box or direct inputs. He looked at rear of the tv and said direct no breakout box, well when it was delivered guess what there was the breakout box. Installers who were to mount the Tv a job that should have taken less than hour took 4 due them not having the right materials on the truck and needing to go to hardware store twice to modify the mount they brought out. They placed the cables in the wrong spot since to use the smartapp features with a receiver it needed to use the arc port which they did not set, they did not put on the cable panel because they said it was too difficult to deal with. All of this with paying a high install charge expecting great service. Back to Anthony the friendly salesman who has never contacted me back after calling his cell and emailing him, well he helped with the financing and apparently went over the amount approved saying that this was acceptable but not telling us this amount would be charged as the minimum amount for first payment so we get a wonderful bill for 450.00 didn't expect that thanks Anthony. Anyhow never again will I trust these people and doubt will ever purchase from them again. read more

I researched 4K TVs and decided to get what I wanted at BestBuy where they have a Magnolia center in-house. Andrew Siegel, the sales person, was friendly and very helpful. I can't say anything about their overall audio/video design and consulting services because I didn't use them for that but the purchase was smooth and Andrew was efficient and courteous. Years ago, the sales people at BestBuy were on commission and I did not like the experience there. It seems they have changed, not sure exactly when, but it's a no pressure environment although the knowledge of the staff is sort of hit and miss. I would have to say that the customer service was immaculate. Being young I would except much for customer service but I was treated with professionalism as soon as I walked in. After purchasing my receiver that I'm very pleased with, I received a hand written letter thanking me for my business. That never happens theses days. Let's face it- some of us feel strongly about our TV . We came BestBuy to check out a couple of big screen TV's that were on the Costco site. We ended up getting fantastic, knowledgeable advice from the guy (don't know his name- sorry) at Magnolia. We did purchase the tv we wanted from Costco because of price- BUT we ended up hiring Magnolia to install our new big addition to the family correctly. It's going to be placed on our wall, with the wiring inside the walls and the appropriate "Fiber Optic" cables, and our surround sound working at peak performance. It hasn't happened yet, but the explanation and recommendations from Tuula made us feel like we are in good hands. read more

I'm updating the review with photos that I forgot to upload initially. The workmanship was incredibly shoddy. Holes were cut where there were not supposed to be any holes. Cuts were made in the ceiling for a screen that was never meant to be recessed. read more

Excellent experience with Matt at Magnolia/Best Buy. I didn't realize that Magnolia was a separate entity from Best Buy, but Matt did an excellent job of explaining their specialized products and services. I rarely go to Best Buy because I find that the "blue shirt" sales people make a sport of avoiding eye contact and suddenly being busy on their phone or other device when a customer begins to approach them. They always make me feel as though I'm chasing them down for child support, or that I'm going to ask them to help me move. It's just weird. Suffice to say I've been underwhelmed with the service end of Best Buy, but a friend recommended a particular television, that, alas, was available there. I got lucky, though, as Magnolia and its employees appear to be much more professional, available and responsive. I had all of my questions answered and the sale completed with 15 minutes. That's my kind of sales transaction. Recommend them highly, particularly Matt, who really knows his stuff. read more

We went to Best Buy to look st big screen tvs and when we asked what the best ones were, we were taken into the Magnolia part of the store. We were helped by Tuula, who went more than the extra mile to get us the best deal and most fabulous tv! Almost too good of a picture. No pressure to buy, great customer service, and super products. I purchased 65" Tv , tv stand and Sonos soundbar with 2 additional speakers at Best Buy and Magnolia Design Center to deliver to me for $100.00 since i live in Lake county. Well after waiting a 2 weeks for delivery and speaking to 2 people PRIOR to delivery of my TV...THEY FORGOT THE TV! My delivery was speakers and tv stand...then the TV did arrive from another delivery driver a couple hours later. I requested my 100.00 delivery fee back which they said would not be a problem...but still have not recieved it back...will have to call them again. read more

I built my Dolby Atmos system using a 60" TV, components and speakers from Magnolia and have received excellent service at every step. As with any complex system build, I have had a few issues. WE LOVE JERICK Cordill! He was low-key, professional, speedy, and helpful. We had specific needs, had done some research and had a particular budget - he exceeded our expectations. . This place is amazing! I had been looking for two years at all the high end music stores to find a system that would satisfy my ear as well as my decor with no luck and often felt put down by the owners for not having all the right "language" and encyclopedic knowledge that apparently serves as a passkey. Finally stopped at Best Buy just to see. When I told them what my needs were, Andrew gave me his full attention, showed me a wonderful system, did not try to sell me on something I really didn't need, even allowed me to try one set to see if it would do, and helped me upgrade to add what would work perfectly. He was always patient, visited my home several times to assess and help set up the system, and returned to help me choose the upgrade as well as enduring several panicked phone calls when I couldn't figure out something.. I tried to "economize" and it didn't work; I ended up with exactly what he had recommended in the first place. You can trust his judgment; he will not oversell. If you get a higher end system, by all means use their guys to get it set up properly, worth every penny (James was great). All done with friendly professionalism and terrific equipment.
