I have always had good experiences with this Verizon Store, but last Saturday was exceptional. David took care of 2 of us almost simultaneously, with great customer service for us both. He was direct with what could or could not be done regarding my file and photo transfers. He took care of my issues quickly and cheerfully. His advice was helpful, to say the least. I went to the store to use a prepaid phone bought from another Verizon store and transfer my information from my old phone, which, was having issues with charging. to the newer one, they put my sim card in the newer one and transferred my information to the Phone. Went home, but could not make phone calls. Went back-they didn't understand the issue, so Steve the salesman, Steve for $39.00 I could get a new phone. I asked what the monthly payment would be and was told it would only be $45.00, plus taxes a month. Including phone protection. I was told the bill was to view online in a few days. I checked my account and the salesman lied-as it was $92.00. Bait and switch tactics. I called the 800 number and explained my issue. They told me that they did not understand why I was told this. They lowered it to $52.66 after I dropped the phone protection. I also received a discount if I did automatic bill pay, from my bank. My bill was due My 19th, yesterday they took $82.47 from my account. I called and they claim I will get a credit-but due to basically being lied to at the store-one wonders if this is true. Be very wary with price quotes and get in writing. read more

I bought a pair of Air pods. My hearing is bad, they worked but not for me. I paid cash, have my receipt. I turned them back into the Verizon store in Bartonsville over a month ago. 4 trips to this store, 8 hours+ inside the store and they can't give me my $ back! It's a dog and pony show. All excuse. What kind of risky dink operation doesn't have $265 bucks for a month? Time to call the better business bureau and my state representative! This was culmination of agent who knew very little about the product they were selling me. Don't go there phone is cheaper in best buy and people are nicer. read more

Walked into the store to look at new phones, planning to buy one. No one greeted me but the salespeople out front were both helping people, so ok. I started to look around. Nothing in the store is labeled, so you have no idea what phones you are looking at unless by chance a screen is active and the brand and/or model scrolls on the screen. Was looking for 5-10 minutes and a man walked in. Sales person immediately greeted him and offered to sign him in so they could help him as soon possible. Maybe there's a sign somewhere that says to sign in? If so, I didn't see it. I looked for another couple of minutes but no one approached me. Great job, Verizon Store. read more

Three employees standing door. Barely can get in three steps. I explain that I need help resetting my phone due to some glitches. I am told "oh we don't do that here. You need to call *611 and they can help you" Really? Why have I come here before and they were at least willing to try to help me with this type of issue? Is that you are incompetent or simply have no desire to work? Very confusing. In a sense, you really can't blame the employees. It points back to a manager that allows this type of behavior. Very disappointing. I can recommend the Verizon in the Palmer Towne Center, Eaton PA. Completely different attitude there. read more

I'm not the type of person to leave negative reviews because I go into any store with a good attitude and respect. My interaction with this Verizon store worker was horrible. When I initially signed on it was all great and well, when I went back for another product (home WiFi), I had explained to the associate that I needed WiFi for the house because my fiancé and I we will be working from home, zoom meetings, Video editing, and much more. What I ended up getting was a (hotspot box) this hotspot literally lasted 3/4 days and it was horrible because it cut out a lot. I returned to the store and spoke with the manager (John) at first he was reluctant to even give me a refund at all. I explained to him that it's not my fault I was given this product and he understood and told me " I would get a complete refund and that I will get a refund and not be charged at all but it will take a few days to process." Granted it was not that much money but it's still my money that I work hard for everyday. Either way I patiently waited, month goes by I get charged for that month, I go back and speak with the boss which I believe is a women and don't recall her name. Either way she had said that " I will be getting refunded the amount for the hotspot and wait till next month. This all started in November 16-21. It is January 22nd now and I came in to get a refund. They tell me I was refunded but I checked my statements and nothing in my statements. I was also charged for the service of the device which is completely unfair because the associate made the mistake and gave me something I didn't ask for. I reminded John of our initial interaction in November and he flat out denied it all. This is truly upsetting to see people treat others in this manner especially when all I've done is be patient and give out respect. I would never recommend this store to anyone and I'm appalled at this outcome and the way it was handled. Definitely a 0/10 would not recommend. read more

I made an appointment but still had to wait around for 15 minutes. The only thing they are able to do it sell you a phone. They can't answer questions about your bill- they direct you to call Verizon. Left the store without accomplishing anything. Called Verizon directly, got all my questions answered and purchased a new phone. Keep turning people away and there won't be a need for a store anymore. Also, the employees are rude and condescending. read more

Purchase cell phones last year had difficulty with the Samsung Galaxy j7v spent $240 on it and purchase three of them all three of them a piece of s*** Verizon would not let me trade the phones in upgrade my phone giving me credit for the three that I had in keeping my skipping me as a valid customer $600 later plus another two hundred that out of the my 18-month plan will never ever get Verizon again but my sales rep in the Strauss mall was awesome read more

Worst phone store I've ever dealt with. They keep the Google speaker so loud, you can't have a normal conversation. One trip I took a Samsung Galaxy 9 Plus to activate that I bought direct from Samsung. The manager, of all people, tells me that the directions with the phone tell me what to do. Long story short... that isn't the case as it wasn't a Verizon phone. She dials the number (with an I'm doing you a favor attitude)... 15 minutes later another worker helps (because she disappeared) and we straighten out how to activate. 2nd trip with my son's older iPhone 5 which stopped receiving/making calls. The guys switches SIM, no go, tells me technology fails and it was time to buy a phone. I get home and do more research... turns out Roaming Cellular was turned on. I turn it OFF and phone works again. That Verizon Corporate store is a brick and Mortar advertisement for ATT or Sprint. The worst... Stroud Mall, BJs, WalMart ALL have to be better. read more

I've been a Verizon customer for nearly 10 years, and location experiences certainly vary. If you're in the Stroudsburg area, avoid the mall, and come to this location. The manager, Dan Anderson, understands the importance of customer service. Verizon headquarters made me feel disposable today, but Dan went out of his way to resolve my issue, which can be a rarity.
