I dont know what happened here, seemed like this was a huge miss on everything about getting a new phone. Came in on a Friday evening and there were only about 4 customers in the store. It took almost an hour before anyone started to help us. Why? Well, the staff was busy taking pictures of themselves for something and interrupted helping their current customers. Not very professional... Finally after getting to one of the reps, we selected a phone and were ready to purchase. Here in lies the second issue, is that it seems like no one was trained on how to properly process transactions and activate phones without an unusual amount of help. 4 hours later I finally had a new phone, and I couldn't leave any faster. It's a policy for this store to LIE TO PEOPLE. TERRIBLE customer service from awful manager who was beyond rude and didn't care about speaking in a demeaning tone to me in front of my child. I had just purchased a new phone two days prior. I was browsing accessories while waiting for my phone information to be transferred from new to old. I was lied to by one of the sales people about Samsung earbuds being "bassy" (which I like). Instead, they have barely noticeable bass quality - they sound flat and echoey. So, I came in to try to return the earbuds and a newly bought case but because I didn't have the box the case came in, the manager wouldn't conduct the return. I explained that the sales person that sold me the case took it out of the box and put it on the new phone for me, then threw the box away. She kept citing policy about nonrefundables - "it's on your receipt" - but that's not something the sales people told me, otherwise I wouldn't have bought the earbuds. I was looking into switching from another carrier and saw that the store has been around a while and figured I'd look into Verizon. So with me porting over six numbers and having six trade-ins I was made some pretty good offers. I was promised free tablets for every two lines I opened, I've been paying installment ever since. The offers I was made have not come true. I've been in over 5 times and keep getting the runaround. I keep getting told that they've submitted everything to Verizon and they keep getting rejected. Well after four months and some help from an online group I contacted a department of Verizon. I've now found out that cellular plus is an indirect Verizon dealer, meaning they can make offers that Verizon even doesn't offer. And for what I'm finding out since they don't wanna honor what they told me they can just offer you bait and switch. So if I am you I take my business to an actual Verizon store and stay way away from these people. Unless you have time on your hands, like over paying, you like to argue and be lied to, because if you like that, this is the place to be. Biggest mistake I've made in years going through these people. Oh and by the way if it gets far enough they'll even promise that the district manager will contact you. But don't hold your breath because it hasn't happened yet for me. read more

We were in the store for 4 hours to switch one phone to a different phone and to hook up another phone. We left with the one phone switched and the other phone half way activated. We had to go back the next to finish what we started the night before and we were treated very rudly by the store manager. I will not return to that location or recommend it to anyone. read more

Went into the Wood Village Verizon today to see if they had a new phone cover for my Google Pixel 2 and the sales associate (title used lightly - you'll see why at the end), made me feel stupid for asking if they had that. Apparently, "I should just always expect the most current phones accessories to be sold in the stores" he says with a condescending tone and smirk on his face. So thank you to the boy half my age pointing out how utterly ridiculous I am for even asking. Sincerely, a special needs mother in her 40s doing it all on her own. I went to this store initially to change carriers because I had heard the cell service was more far reaching than what I had. The mgr said he would call when a phone I ordered came in ( a couple of days). I called 18 days later. He said it had been there, was just buried under "things". I went there to get it and set up service. I went there a third time to sign up for auto pay. I was the only customer there. There appeared to be 3 employees staring at their phones. They told me to just do it online. I tried that while in the store, but was not successful. The woman did try to then help me, but could not make it work. I asked for a phone number to try a person at Verizon to help. Thomas, who was next to the woman told me to "LOOK IT UP"! I was stunned, finally asked about customer service. He spent the rest of my visit staring hard and sneering at me. He seemed like he wanted to intimidate this senior citizen. I asked for mgr. Jesse came out - stated they could not help me with what I needed and said I could go to the corporate store (?). I went to leave, and as I got to the door, someone said "Have a nice day". Great customer service. I bought the new iPhone and other accessories couple days ago and was greeted by a representative-Dylan right away. Dylan is very helpful , friendly and quick. He also offered me great discounts going on that day. Also when my items came in, he gave me a call to let me know that, I can come and pick it up. Worked with a guy name Kyle and he set up my iPhone and got me a new iPad. Would highly recommend this store, wasn't super busy like the normal Verizon stores, he took some time with me as I needed my stuff transferred and it took forever but I had a lot of stuff. I literally just spent a grand here yesterday buying a new phone and accessories. I got the new iPhone 7 Plus that had to be ordered in because they didn't have any in stock. I was fine with this. Took three business days to get, but I was patient. When it arrived yesterday I went in and got everything set up. I tired to use my $25 gift card that I got awhile back and for some reason it wouldn't work. I ended up just not using it because I had been at the store for over an hour and half. And needed to get home to my family and cook dinner. While at the store I purchased some accessories including wireless headphones that with their promotion were about $50. I was told that headphones could not be refunded but there was 30 day warranty. I work at pharmacy every day at a desk solving escalated problems. I don't do a ton of running around and am not vigorous with my headphones. I listen to classical music to drown out background noise since I work in the middle of a call center setting. My headphones are in almost all day. Today I was only able to listen to about 20 minutes of music before my ears were in severe pain because the headphones don't fit my ears right. I thought I was at a loss. I just lost $50. I called and asked and explained the situation to Jasmine who said that they usually can't take headphones back but bring them in and she could see what they could do. So I drove all the way back to the store after work today only to be told they can't take them back and maybe I could sell them on Craigslist to get my money back. And then they could sell me another pair with a very small discount. Pretty much they had me waist my time to come in so they could sell me something else. Not exchange. I voiced I was unhappy and I wasn't going to buy anything else from them. They already got a large commission from what I bought yesterday. They laughed at me! they are very quick to sell you something that has a rebate attached to it, but absolutely no help when 4 months have gone by and you have not gotten anything from verizon...they dont tell you how long it should take, then when you call and ask after a couple months, they say is take 3 to 4 months because they want to make sure you are going to keep the stuff you bought(as if you can get out of the contract), after a little over 4 months now they say it should have only taken 3 to 4 weeks, but they cant help you unless you come in, in person, or they give you the 1-800 number and tell you to call and play the automated phone game till you get a live rep.....nice guys, but very poor communication, and NO help at all when there is an issue! i will NOT revisit that location! read more

The store manager misled me into an Edge contract. I asked for a free phone and he handed me a Samsung Gusto 3 and showed me a paper that had $0 charge highlighted. Now they will not do anything about the situation, neither will Verizon customer service, and they want $199 for a $35 phone.
