The wait time to upgrade my phone was ridiculous. Easily 40 minutes. They also pushed hard to get me to sign up for the phone protection plan when AppleCare is cheaper. Just so you know, even if you sign up for it you can cancel it in your account. I only went here because they were the only store in the area that had the phone and memory size that I was looking for. Overall they need to hire more people to deal with the ridiculous wait time. read more

This store has some of the worst and slowest service I have ever seen. We just needed to drop off our phones and waited about an hour and still couldn't be helped. It seems like the employees are more about sales and signing people new customers. Dropping off the phones should only take a few minutes. Especially when it's pretty early in the morning and only 3 customers in the store. We left without being helped as they could tell us how much longer it would be after waiting for an hour. Yesenia was amazing! I just got back from a sailing trip in the Caribbean where I dropped my phone in the ocean. Everything requires authentication now, so I needed to get my phone ASAP. She looked at my account I found out I had insurance and had them ship me a new one right away. In the meantime, she got a Sim for a really old phone I had and helped me get that activated. Once my new phone came, they were unable to activate it, I tried three separate times with the number provided. I went back in to see Yesenia and within a minute, she had it working perfectly! She was so patient working through my problem and phenomenal at getting me back up and running!! read more

This place is just messed up. The customer service is crap unless you are purchasing a phone. Whatever gives the sales person a couple of extra dollars in their pocket. After over a decade and a half with at&t we decided to leave due to the outrageous cost to a long time customer. If we were opening a new account with no long time history with them we would have gotten a screaming deal. I asked if the person in the store could unlock my phone since it was paid off. Oh, we can't do that here. Wait what? That is why I went into the store so they would have access to the computer. She said it would be 48 hours before the new provider could port my phone. Then I asked if she could cancel the third line that we never asked for or ever used. Oh we can't cancel lines here. WTAF good are you if you can't help your customers with their accounts? All she could do there is sell me a phone. Worthless. I left pissed while she just looked straight through me, was no help and gave me canned answers with a bright cheery smile on her face. FU AT&T. First of all the waits are ridiculously long with only 3 people working on average and once the workers are done helping customers, instead of helping the next customer they talk to their friends about nails, yes, about nails. I do not recommend this AT&T store. I have a business account with AT$T for over seven years with 5 phones on the account. My phone locked up on me and I could not get it to reset. I'm pay extra for insurance on my account to replace my phones if defective. I stopped at Thai store for help. There was three employees in the store and no other customers. I told the salesperson I needed help unlocking my phone. The salesperson wouldn't even look at my phone and told me I had to take it to Apple. I told her I bought the phone at that store and she still refused to help. I told her I paid AT&T for insurance on the phone. The employee said I had to call the insurance number to get help. I told the her my phone was locked and I could not call on it. She said I would have to get a friend and use their phone to call for help. I couldn't believe none of the employees working there wouldn't offer to call the number for me or look at my phone. I left very upset over the lack of service. I stopped at the Mall 205 AT&T store and a gentlemen asked me if he could help me. There store was very busy with lots of customers. I told him my phone was frozen and I could not get it to reset. He said "Let me see it". I handed him my phone and he pushed a series of buttons. Within a minute he got my phone to reset and it worked fine. I thanked him for his help. I would not recommend the store on Division Street in Gresham at all. AT&T needs to give the employees there some serious training in customer service as none of them would lift a finger to help me. Nice enough but now I am a bit frustrated. The girl who updated my phone told me she couldn't take the next plan off my phone that I'd have to do it in a few days through the website. I was trading in an iPhone 6s so that plan is obviously not for me and I advised her as much. I called to see if they could reverse it and customer service said it's easiest if they do it while the upgrade is taking place and they can't do anything for the next 14 days. So I was forced into a service I don't need. Now I have to go back in so they can do it for me. I think I'll choose a different store and see how that goes because I don't think the staff at this store is properly trained. read more

If I could select 0 stars I would. I talked to At&t online chat about adding two phones to my account to have my parents move from US Cellular to At&t. I had made an appointment to pick up the phones at the "closest store" which I did not realize they were being sent via FedEx and could've just as easily been sent to my home address....here's my in store experience The phones were sent to a store 82 miles away- each directing. We drove through the snow for an hour and 40 minutes to get the phones and finally arrived at the At&T store located at 533 Division st Gresham, Or. Due to the long duration of the trip I made an appointment so an associate would be able to help us set up the phones as soon as we arrived and we would not have to wait and make this an all day event. We got to the store and were greeted by an associate (African American female.) I said "Hi, my name is Ashley and I have an appointment for 2:00 pm. I understand I'm a little early--" She immediately cut me off to say "No, we don't have any appointments today." I pulled out my phone to show her my appointment confirmation where she quickly asked "Are you sure its this location?" Which I responded with the stores address as I began to look for my confirmation email. She confirmed I was at the right location which my dad who was with me said "Look! That's her name on your screen. Ashley B. 2:00!" She saw that my name was there and shrugged it off then asked me how she could help me. I told her that I had two phones shipped to the store. Which she aggressively responded with "No, we don't do that here." Puzzled, I said "Yes, and started to go through my emails to show her. She responded again "No one can have phones shipped here." I told her "Yes, they were shipped here and arrived today via FedEx at 11:11am." I told her I could show her the confirmation email and who signed for them. She again said no and now both myself and my parents were visibly upset. Another associate (male) who was nearby was sanitizing his work station told her to check the managers office. She went to the back and then he followed behind her to see if they were there. One minute later she came with the phones, and asked me again what my name was. I told her my name again and she asked if I had ordered them online. I said yes, and she handed me the box. Confused, I then asked if I needed her to open the box or if she would help me set up the phones. Dismissively, she said "They are good to go and that you could take them like that." I then explained that I needed the phone numbers changed as these are with temporary numbers and the online associate said we could do that here. She responded again with "No, we don't do that here, plus there's a fee $35 for each line." I explained how we just drove over an hour an a half to pick these up, and asked if she could help us and waive that fee? She again said "You gotta call At&T to do that." And didn't provide me with a phone number at all. I asked why she couldn't do that there and she explained to me "People lie and open a new phone line and then change their phone number over so they can get a new phone. We see it all the time." Frustrated, and tired of feeling like we were being stereotyped we left. My parents and I left the store upset and confused and sat in our vehicle to try and set the phones up without any directions or training on how to. We had no idea which phone was connected to either number, we were unable to transfer contacts or documents from their former phones and I had to troubleshoot everything. I used one of the new phones to call my phone so they would at least have my number as a contact and that's how I learned how to activate the phone altogether. I was unable to connect fully activate the phones without WIFI and as my parents were android users I had to wait until we got home to make them an Apple ID via their computer. So back we drive 1 hour and 40 minutes, another 82 miles and then were able to finish setting up their phones. The following day I spent another hour on the phone with customer service changing their numbers which the $35 fee was never discussed. I finally got their apple ID's set up but was still unable to transfer any contacts, documents, photos or passwords from their old phones. I have been a loyal customer for close to 4 years with At&t. I have Never received such poor service from beginning to end. The chat associate should have sent the phones to my home to save me 164 miles in both time and gas as well as she should have explained how the billing would work. Most importantly the woman at the At&T store should NOT be working customer service due to every answer being "no" prior to me even asking a question!! She was so dismissive because she wasn't making commission off my sale so I did not add to her wallet! This poor customer service that I received makes me want to switch providers!! read more

Wife got suckered into the Apple Watch First Net BS by David and Anthony. They said it was fine that she wasn't working as a nurse, but as soon as she signed up for it they started sending verification emails with a 2 week deadline. We came back 1 week later to try to return the watch and revert back to regular family plan, but the att rep said to ignore the emails and our account was fine. Good one guys! I wish I could rate this AT&T store 0 stars. Last November, I upgraded my iPhone to an iPhone 6+ using the AT&T Next program. From the start, it was problematic. I knew it would take almost two months to get a phone, so my expectations were set. The problem is that the store messed up and somehow placed the order wrong. My first indication was that whenever I contacted AT&T, they couldn't find my order. Finally, two days before Christmas, I received my phone :) The phone came in a box with a return label to send my old phone back. In January, I sent my old phone back. Now the fun starts. Towards the middle of February, I got a text message from AT&T stating that I didn't return my phone so they were going to charge me for the non-returned phone $257.00. I talked to AT&T on the phone and they said I hadn't returned the phone. After several calls, they "found" my returned phone and promised to credit my account. Two weeks later (towards the beginning of March), I checked my bill, and I still owed them for the "returned" phone. I called again and talked to another AT&T rep. They told me (again) that I didn't return the phone. After an hour on the phone, they finally "found" the phone in their system and promised to give me a credit. A week ago, I called again. Guess what? I still owed them the money for the phone. After another hour (and them having to "find' my phone), they promised me a credit. They even told me that I should pay for the phone and then I'd get a credit for it. NO WAY. Today, I called again as I got a text message stating that I owed AT&T even more money. The rep indicated that the store (this store) placed the order incorrectly and that she'd fix the problem. Her "fix" was to CANCEL my AT&T next contract. The result is I now owe AT&T the entire amount for the phone PLUS an early termination fee. It has gone from bad to worse. NOBODY SEEMS TO HAVE THE ABILITY TO FIX THIS ISSUE. This is an AT&T internal issue due to the mistakes made by this store. My advice is to NOT ORDER AT&T NEXT PHONES from this store. YOU'LL BE VERY SORRY. For all my efforts (5+ hours of my time), they offered me a $25.00 courtesy credit. What a joke. read more

This is the worst AT&T location I've ever been to. All but one of the employees were rude and unhelpful. I walked in around 10 in the morning and no other customers were in the store and there were 3 or 4 employees just standing around chatting blasting rap music. I started to walk towards one of them, a mid 20's person of color, he looked directly at me and walked into the back until someone else came to assist me. I wouldn't have cared about any of that by itself or even gave it much notice except that I stood there for almost 10 minutes before anyone even came over to ask if I needed help. Again, I didnt really pay it too much mind but when they finally came over to help I hadnt even fully explained my issue before the guy said he couldnt help me and I would have to talk to the manager. The manager, Dallas, called me back and clearly had no interest in helping me either. I called customer service and they fixed my problem almost immediately and were shocked that the location didn't do anything to help me. I would NEVER recommend this location to anyone based on the COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL employee interaction that I experienced. read more

If I could rate this store lower, believe me I would. I went in to upgrade my phone as my old one took and unplanned "bath". I found a phone that would work for both me and my budget. Then came the sell. I was presented with 2 "great offers". Sign up for a contract with DirecTV for a BOGO offer, or sign up for DirecTV Now and get a $200 bill credit. We have had DTV in the past and didn't want them again, so we went for the bill credit. Still hadn't shown up 3 months later, so contacted AT&T through the chat option on the website. They couldn't find that offer and said it may be specific to the store and that I should go back and talk to them. I did. I was told that the rep I worked with, L, would have to help me so I waited for him to be free. Once he was, he read the notes from the chat and said he'd have to talk to his manager. He went into the back "employee only" area and came back 10-15 minutes later saying he called his manager (who coincidentally wasn't at the store on a Monday) and that they would contact me on Thursday. I hadn't heard from anyone, so I called around 2:15pm on Thursday. I was told by the person I was talking to, who called L (who coincidentally wasn't there) while I was on hold, that L had placed a ticket and would have to follow up on Saturday. I will update this review after Saturday to see if they actually even try to fix this. Went in on Saturday and was told that the promotion I had been sold on was only to "targeted customers" but L had misread it and we weren't the "targeted customers", but they were going to honor it as it was his mistake. The catch? The store manager, A, had to email the area manager and they wouldn't get back to me until Friday! I would comment more on the customer service, but the store just doesn't have any to comment on. read more

It was for a line I discontinued and a phone I returned within the 14 days I initially started the line. I am still dealing with AT&T's customer service in trying to get the money back into my bank account. I got there at 3 left at 7. Workers don't know what they are doing!!! They tried to renew my plan since att bought cricket, since they use SIM cards now. They couldn't get the phone to work with the SIM card. They made me upgrade my phone to the new software and made me delete half my information to fit in the phone. They ended up telling me that I need to go to apple to fix the problem. Didn't have service for 2 days!!! Worst experience ever!!!! They get you in and make the promotions sound so great and how much money you'll save. What they don't tell you is ANY of the fine print. Like oh hey its a BOGO phone BUT if you go over the "$750" you have to pay the rest and OH you do have to pay the first 3 months of the installment on your bill and theennn you'll start receiving your credit. Not the full amount since you went over the limited amount. But they don't tell you that!!! Or this saving or that saving doesn't begin until 3 months after paying your bill. This is the 2nd time I've been haggled by these dirty salesman. Each time we get shafted. Last time it was free tablets but the FORGOT to mention the $10 charge per tablet on your monthly bill for 2 years OOPS left that out. Oh the guy says Direct Tv has come along way you don't loose signal when it rains..... BULL**** Direct TV sucks as much as it did 10 years ago when I hated them. Thanks for suckering me into a contract with them. Not happy at all and will never recommend ATT, not to mention the S8 active I bought and one month later has alerts there is water in it which is common according to google. ATT no longer will help you. Send your phone back to Samsung and use a "loner" phone oh but you have to BUY that WHAT? my phone was 1 month old and had issues and I have to send it back and purchase a phone to use in the meantime. I don't understand why AT&T does not honor their promotional deals through their third parties. How do I get them to understand that I bought my phone's on a buy one get one free at Best Buy? It has been 5 months and I still have not gotten my discount I have been paying $300 a month on these bills that they send to me but no promotional deal has been honored. Customer service just brushes you off, and the supervisors don't really review your account or look into what you're actually calling about. Why do you have to call so many times to try to get an issue resolved? Why has it been 5 months and I still don't have my promotional deal honored and I've called every month twice a month just to check on these cases that people have been filing for me to resolve the issue? I signed up for service with them September 2018 and they have been billing me for both phones. I have contact them in a customer service numerous the time and they just say sorry it's like they're not even looking at the account and that I'm not going to get the promotion promotional. But then customer service says that no you're right you're supposed to be getting the deal, but we keep putting in these claims but then they keep getting denied because they've been filed wrong. I just cannot understand how you sign up with the service you have a contract in a receipt willing to show them and they still deny you the promotional deal that you signed up for. I think it's brewed it's psychologically bothering, it's disrespectful, it's illegal and very inconsiderate for the customer sign up for new service and then get treated in a way that no one is listening and sorry this is our policy and no you are not getting your promotional deal that you signed up for when you walked into our third party store. I just wish that these kinds of companies do not have to leverage that they have because that is not fair if you are at work in American that you have to enter a contract that the other side can you get over on you on. Had I had known what I know today about this company I would have never ever signed a contract or got a phone from them ever!!! Now I'm stuck at a contract and not being honored my personal deal on the buy one get one free Samsung Note 9 promotional deal that they had going on September of 2018.
