This is the special needs store. If you are looking to wait for an hour and maybe get some help in given Verizon your biz, then this is the place. We waited for 45 minutes without any status on where we were at on the list. There was a couple of people in front of us still waiting, so we walked out. It was slow and I would never go back to this place. I accidentally looked at the wrong place on yelp, otherwise I would have known better. I went to this store to replace my broken iPhone 5. I was assisted by Vese Antrim. I had no interest in getting anything else besides a new phone. He told me about a "bundle" deal that I could get with a "promotion" they had going on. He claimed that by entering into the "Edge" plan, I could pay off the bill over time. He claimed it was such a great deal because in addition to buying my new iPhone 6, he could also throw in a new iPad, and Bluetooth as well. He claimed it was such a good deal because otherwise if I were to pay full price for these items it would be several hundreds more. I said it was not in my interest to pay things off over time and inquired if I could pay it off in a couple large payments....he said that would be fine. So....fast forward several months later, I discover that I AM actually having to pay for the iPad and Bluetooth in addition to the phone! At the time of the sale, I asked him point blank if the absolute bill was the 600+ total he had scribbled out on paper and he said "yes, that's the total"......NO IT WASN'T!!! I proceeded to call Verizon and spoke to a phone representative who was very kind and totally understood where I was coming from. She suggested this was a routine problem she has seen as a customer service representative. She called the store Manager at South Center Square (while I was on the phone) to explain the circumstances. The store Manager said they would get back with me to address the issue. Sadly, after that call occurred, the customer service told me based on her own experience, she did not imagine I would hear back from anyone on this......and that's exactly what happened. This is messed up and not how one should conduct business. I have been a Verizon customer for a very long run. I am sorry to say that this experience has ruined my faith in their brand. I guess it's all about commissions to these sales reps. I am looking into taking this to the Attorney General. It's not that I can't deal with the financial obligation....it's the principal of the matter. You should not mislead your prospects PERIOD! If this is the way they choose to treat their customers, then I would encourage ALL OF YOU to find someone else who will treat you with an acceptable level of respect, disclosure and professionalism.....all of which this particular store knows very little about. For your own sake...please take this advice seriously. You deserve better. If there were an option for giving 0 stars I would have taken that option no question. Vese, come on man, just stop it! Guys like you give customer service and salesman a bad name.....it's not all about you....you knew exactly what I was telling you....I didn't need any of those extras, I took you at your word that it was part of a "bundle" deal....and you chose to twist it all around for your own benefit.....so messed up. The worst customer service I have ever seen in my life and the sales people must not work on commission at this store because being wall flowers while people are waiting is much more important. I went to upgrade my phone yesterday I wanted to buy a razr maxx...the greeter took my name and put me in the "que"..... then my daughter and I started looking around the store. I noticed they started charging upgrade fees so I asked the greeter when that started....she said the 22nd of the month and was completely inept to respond after that .....a chimpanzee could have done her job better after this point.... after waiting 20 minutes while watching other staff members that could supposedly help me stand around I decided to leave. I went to the store in the mall by Nordstrom and WOW what a difference!!! They were knowledgeable and had options and I wasn't standing there waiting to give people my money. I hate parking at the mall but it was well worth it....pass up this store they make Verion Wireless look bad!!! If someone for the store is reading this ...the other store got an upgrade and a new activation in under 20 minutes and I'm sure they are grateful that you dropped the ball. read more

My husband and I came into the store today to purchase a new phone. We were greeted at the door by Edros, a very nicely dressed and well informed sales rep at the store. He immediately walked us through our plan, explained what we could do to start a new line and had a new phone in my hands very painlessly. I do photography, so I was also in the market for a new tablet. After we left the store and had lunch we decided to go back and talk to him about a tablet as well. He was not available but made sure that his manager, Michael, helped us out. I am so impressed with this store and the service that we were given. We left the store incredibly happy about what we ended up with, they went out of their way to find us exactly what we wanted in another store because they did not have it in stock, and assisted with accessories for all of our purchases. I normally despise having to go to a cell phone store. It is usually painful and filled with endless wait time. He was patient, knowledgeable and suggested great options for me. He listened to what I had to say and tailored the plan, phone and accessories to my needs. I was looking for a new phone today and to change my network. I had seen tons of commercials and great reviews for Verizon. I stopped into the Verizon on south center parkway to check out what it was about. I was greeted and helped by a young man by the name of Cory. He immediately had me interested and explained everything with perfect detail to where I knew and understood what I was going to get. His great customer service and devotion to your company led me to buy a new phone and write this review. This young man is a business man and knows exactly how to sell a product and actually do his job. I would recommend him for a manager position at any store with his knowledge. I also would like to comment on how comfortable I felt when walking into that specific store, the vibe was great and the people were greater. 5 stars from me and a personal request from myself for Cory to have recognition for his great efforts. read more

I've been a customer at Verizon for over 10 years now and this store reminds of why I've been so loyal to them. Everyone there is so friendly and personable. They are so knowledgeable and patient especially Crystal and her managers. They treated me with respect and never come at me aggressively like other salespeople. I wanted to write a few words to share my opinion on how reprehensible it was for my wife treated by the salesperson David and the store manager Rebecca. She is condescending while defending her shady salesperson. My wife went into upgrade her phone, and was greeted, with "I have a great deal for you today". Fact: David NEVER EVER DISCLOSED or hinted that my wife was purchasing a bundle. Fact: David stated all of those accessories were included in the phone upgrade and stated that since Verizon is no longer subsidizing phone purchases they are including these items with the upgrade. Fact: Since we found out just how he greasily sold a bundle, without DISCLOSING that fact, she never got a choice for any other bundle that may have been available. Fact: When David was asked point blank why well over $200 dollars was charged to my card he said taxes and start up and NEVER said anything about buying and paying for a bundle, it wasn't until arriving at home later that night and seeing a receipt online. All of those items were FULL PRICE. Fact: This store is showing this pattern of deception with online reviews. That is either POOR management or management approval of deceptive practices plain and simple. Fact: David called on Sunday morning, he attempted to play this off as a misunderstanding. It is NOT. It is DECEPTION, FRAUD, CHEATING, from lack of DISCLOSURE. Rebecca took the same path of we "misunderstood" in throwing it back onto us and implying that we are stupid. Fact: During the call on Sunday David said the package was discounted which was another LIE, the prices on the receipt were at full retail. The ONLY discount showing anywhere was a discount through my wife's company and nothing from Verizon. Fact: David does receive a commission so it pays for him to be deceptive like a bad car dealer which you condone because you are rewarded when he and your other sales people do the same sneaky crap to increase sales volume. Rebecca and David for stole the joy and pleasure of my wife finally being able to upgrade her phone after a very long wait. This situation made her breakdown and cry, they must be really pleased. I know Rebecca doesn't care but her words and actions make her a poor manager. I canceled my business's account with Verizon that I have had for a very long time. My nearly $30,000 worth of business annually won't even be felt by Verizon but it's the right thing to do in this situation. Doing the right thing is something Rebecca and David are incapable of. It is foolish and short sighted to alienate customers by not doing the right thing. The right thing at the very beginning would have the salesman DISCLOSING that we were purchasing a bundle instead of saying it was INCLUDED in the upgrade. Since that did not happen the right thing would have to honor the word of your employee and INCLUDE those items with the phone at no cost. Rebecca as a manager, Verizon as a company, and David as the salesperson do not care about doing what is right. It is very apparent since we spent over 3 hours trying to resolve this situation to no avail only to have it all thrown back into our faces repeatedly with promises to be called back only to be lied to yet again with zero return calls. Been a Verizon customer since it was quest. A LONG time. Got 2 tablets on a special last Christmas. Tablets never worked well. Both finally died about 6 months ago. Brought them in for replacement in July. Dealt with Wil Coleman in getting them replaced. Said they would send boxes to return them. They sent the box, I packed them and sent them off. Turns out (thru no fault of my own) there should only be 1 tablet per box. Now they magically can not find the other tablet. Their solution: we will give you 2 upgraded tablets, but you must pay for them. So not only have I been paying each month for NO tablets, but they want me to pay for new ones. General Manager, Zac, talks to me as if I am a child. Condescending and a smirk on his face that says "I don't care what you need". Worst customer service ever. If I walk out the door now, I have no tablets unless I pay for "upgraded" ones. I know they could care less if they lose me as a customer, there will be another sucker right behind me. If I could rate negative stars, I aboslutely would. Wayne has "helped" me twice. The first time by telling me my problem was a waste of time and to start calling 611. The second, my phone was not working and he told me to contact insurance, that verizon could not help me. I tried to contact insurance and was unable, so I returned again where he again tried to turn me away. I got upset and explained to him the situation. He said I could use one of the phones on the floor as they were live, so I did. After the insurance told me they didn't have a phone in stock for me and to ask if the store had a loaner phone, I again had to see Wayne (he was the check-in guy) to where he referred me elsewhere stating again, Verizon cannot help me. I went to the apple store where he referred me and they had no problem helping me at all and couldn't understand why Verizon would be unable to help me. Good question! If I ever have to go to this store again, I will NEVER speak with Wayne again. Very rude, unprofessional and does NOT represent the company well at all. read more
