They offer flower arrangements and you can add candy, plush animals, or balloons. I've received arrangements from them before, when I had my son there in 2003, and the flowers/plants were not only beautiful but lasted at least as expected, if not longer. If you call them before the 2pm cutoff time, they can have the flowers delivered to the patient the same day. They are very friendly and accept Visa and Mastercard. Ordering was a breeze. Visit their website for the phone numbers to call and all the details. As for value, there are a number of stock arrangements pictured on their site from $25-50, but they will gladly create or customize any arrangement to fit your budget. There's no handling fee like the teleflorists and if the patient is at Mercy, they'll deliver them for free. Today I was able to send flowers to a friend from almost 900 miles away, easily stayed within my unemployed budget and she'll receive the flowers by this evening. Not many florists could provide that level of service for the price.

These are interactive ornaments that when plugged in to the special cord will sing a song and have dialogue. When we gave them to her Jack did not work properly as the speaker was extremely distorted. Amy's did take the return of Jack but could not Replace him as they were sold out. (These seem to be very popular items). So we still had Sally and she would sing her song, but we were missing the interactive exchange. Fast forward to this year. We purchased Jack, to replace the one from last year, and Oggie Boogie. We plugged in Jack and he immediately greeted us with a "Merry Christmas". Plugged in Sally to listen to them sing together, and nothing. This was a little frustrating. I did contact Hallmark through chat and they would not help me out and suggested I call the store. I did call Amy's Hallmark on Collins Road. The person I spoke with was very pleasant and did not have an immediate answer but listened to the situation and asked for me to call back the next business day to speak with the manager. When I called back the next day the same employee answered the phone and remembered the conversation and had already briefed her manager. They did try to troubleshoot over the phone and asked if I would be willing to bring all the ornaments and the cord into the store so they could see exactly what was happening. When I arrived I was assisted by the same person who had been so empathetic and patient on the phone. The had the last Sally ornament pulled aside to test with a brand new cord. We were able to get all three ornaments interacting and she sent me home with the working Sally ornament and a new cord. This was above and beyond my expectations. The employee was awesome and willing to work with me. Thank you for service minded approach and for making it a "Nightmare Before Christmas" Christmas.

Typically when you order online there's a little disclaimer that says, "we will substitute for another arrangement if needed." Not Hy-Vee! I've never had this happen to me. The quality of Hy-Vee's flowers is 110% better (in my experience) than Peck's or Pierson's and you're paying much more at those shops. Hy-Vee is still 'shopping local' in my opinion and I've always been very pleased with the merchandise they deliver (especially the flowers)!

I drove 20 mi to pick it up and some lady who answered the phone was extremely unhelpful and confrontational. I told her I came home with the wrong prescription because it was and all she wanted to do was argue that it wasn't wrong. I was there for lorazepam and sent home with hydrazine. It was a prescription from 3 weeks ago that was suppose to be put back due to his medical issues. So I did.. in fact .. come home with WRONG prescription. All this person cared about was lecturing me that I didn't get the wrong prescription. She checked on lorazepam and it was there and they did not give it to me. I wasted my time and gas and all she cared about was lecturing me that it wasn't the wrong prescription. I finally just hung up. I will call in morning before I waste my time driving over there. I won't use this Hy-Vee anymore. By the time I hung up I felt like she expected an apology instead of me. Zero customer service!
