Awful service at this store - I even placed my order online and just needed to pick up.

They need to upgrade their infrastructure but refuse. I have no other choice to us them for internet so I am forced to pay high prices for infierior services. If you have other options even if you have to pay double do it! Do not go. With these guys. I tried to file a complaint multiple times and it goes on deaf ears it just gets lost and I do not hear back at all. They are crooks! Go with someone else. Please I beg you!. The only bright side of this company is the tech's that work in my area. They are great, but sad that I know them on a first name basis by how much they have been to my house. They get no support from their company.

Not too long ago there was talk of the NEW cable company coming to town. SPECTRUM. The revamp and…read morerebranding of Time Warner but with new internet speeds, new mobile service and a more strict non-negotiable pricing policy. At the time I wasn't a customer do it didn't mean much. Well, I moved recently and was in need of internet service. Unlike the other ISP's in the area the 200+ mb speeds that were advertised were actually available at my address. I did start my experience online by ordering the equipment I needed and picking up on the store. Walking in, I was greeted by still directed to sign in on a tablet. My name was added to a list on the screens displayed through the store and I took some time to checkout the new gadgets. Streaming decides, new cellphone (because they sell cellphone service now), and tablets. The new location is outside of the mall now but still in the Tri County area. It's like walking into Apple or one of the major wireless carriers. Plenty of open space, tables with the new tech and even a lounge area with TV. An over all good experience, reason for only four stars. A bit understaffed in my opinion. Being #7 in line took almost seven minutes to receive service. If your going to attempt to up-sale each customer make sure it doesn't backup the line. Setting up cellphone service is never quick.

I went to the Spectrum store in Springdale (45246) on 9/1/26 to speak with them about adding mobile…read moreto my Spectrum internet account. I ordered iPhone 17 Pro, 512GB, Orange. It was to be shipped to me via FedEx on 9/3/26. Received a voicemail from Spectrum on 9/2 that said they mistakenly shipped the wrong phone and to call them. I called the number in the VM, and they said that iPhone 17 Pro 256GB in Blue was sent instead of what I ordered. They said to call back as soon as I received the package that day via FedEx, and that they would give me a QR code for a FedEx return label to ship it back and that the correct phone was being sent out and would be here by 5pm the next day (9/3). Received the package and it was indeed the incorrect phone (how did they know that ahead of time??) I called back, got the QR code to return it to them, and took that to FedEx and shipped it back. When the correct phone did not arrive the next day I called Spectrum and they had no record of the call. They said if I had received the incorrect phone I should have returned it to the store. They said I had been scammed and it happens all the time. They said that the scammers can change the caller ID to say that it was Spectrum who called, and that hackers can get info and see the orders. They were going to look into in and said I should call back in a week. I called back and they had closed the case as "resolved." I'm not sure why. They actually admitted hackers get in and this happens a lot! Now they say I am responsible for paying for the phone that I sent away. I thought about filing an insurance claim, because we added the Assurant phone protection to our plan, but I would have to pay a $399 deductible and receive a refurbished phone. I do not want a refurbished phone, and don't want to pay for 36 months on a refurbished phone, and pay an additional $399 for it.

An update. I DID change my landline/internet/cable service to Cincinnati Bell! I've had it for a…read moreyear. And... it's pretty great. I changed from Time Warner/Spectrum/Charter. They didn't want to negotiate on pricing, kept throwing on crazy fees and the bill was just huge. So, against my better judgment and out of frustration, I called Cincinnati Bell. The lady I spoke to was really great. I played it col when she asked how much I was paying at Time Warner and how much I wanted to pay. But, ultimately, I got almost the exact same services and my bill was literally half the price of Spectrum. Locked in for a year. No contract. You pay a larger sum for three months so you don't have to pay the huge installation fee up front. I thought it was pretty smart. My service has been really consistent. The cable doesn't go out when the wind blows too hard. The internet is strong. I don't know the download speeds but it works to support like ten devices in my home. I've only had to call them for assistance two or three times. They were nice and helpful. The on demand for Cincinnati Bell tv is a little generic and difficult to navigate and there is really no useful app for a tablet... but it's not a bit deal. My first year is up and my price has increased as "promotions" expire. I figure with companies like Disney and FX building their own streaming services things with cable companies are going to be weird. It hasn't gone up much, though. And I'm not under a contract. So if I want to dump cable and move to Sling, I can whenever I want.

I believe Altafiber TV service has been hacked but they won't allow the poor agent to admit it. One more pop up message and I'm gone!
