The number posted for this store, (800) 880-1077, is absolutely worthless. It goes to the Verizon Assistant and I cannot find any way to get past it to speak to somebody in the store, e.g. to determine store hours or even ask a question. Second, when I asked how to enroll in autopay for my service, the representative told me to call 888-866-6924. This number is worthless because it would not let me do anything unless I entered an employee number, which I do not have because I am not an employee. Needless to say, because (800) 880-1077 also is worthless, I was unable to call back to get the correct number. I was eventually able to enroll in autopay online. WARNING: The advertised autopay discount is not available unless you use a Verizon VISA card or your bank account. Verizon itself is absolutely worthless and unreliable (1 star). I got the 5G because my DSL has gone out 3 or more times in the past year and, in one case, I had to deal with the BBB and consumer protection agencies to get a junk fee removed from my bill. This was for a technician visit to my home that found no problems with my inside wiring, but for which I was charged anyway. My phone service just went out today. Verizon is very good at taking my money every month, and recently raising its prices, but not so diligent about making sure the services for which I am paying actually work. read more

***CHECK YOUR BILL*** Verizon just dumped every Autopay account paying with credit cards and forcing you to give up your banking router info to re-enroll to receive the $10 paperless billing credit. Without any notification they added $20 to my bill because I also have home internet billed to my cell phone account and was enjoying a second $10 credit for using autopay. Soooo I asked them to mail me my bill and I will mail them a check and we can make them work a bit for their money... but more than likely just going to ditch them for a less expensive company. That 3% credit card fee might have been better absorbed than the backlash from this stunt. read more

my Samsung phone stopped, purchased a new one on phone through Verizon, we arranged pick up at local store. wow are these people rude, ignorant self absorbed! First pointed us to check in at the locker to pick up phone, it took three people to break into the "robot" locker to get our phone out. Comical. then Anthony was ever so bothered to answer a question, matter of fact he told us that phone salesperson was wrong and they don't do transfer of data with warranty plan, instead they charge 30$. This guy made us feel we were imposing on him when we asked for a case; my wife wanted to leave and go to Best Buy! he even said if I talk to you I have to charge you 30$!!!!! these people are pathetic, just give them mirrors to stare at themselves all day. Went in today to inquire about upgrading my s/o's phone as it was acting up. We walked in and left with the new phone within 20 minutes with no issues. In fact, James ended up saving us $400 dollars by telling us there was a deal going on with the iPhone XS as the two phones they were going to choose from were the XS and the iPhone 11 (if I remember it correctly). Definitely not a pushy salesman type that'll try to sell you the biggest and best (and most expensive) phone. Highly recommend seeking him out in the store if you go in because he'll get you in and out with exactly what you wanted in a jiffy! read more

Just plain rude and unhelpful, went in to get my own plan and get off my parents plan. First thing they tried to do was upsell my parents current plan because I burn through the data while they use less then a gig. Once we told them we weren't interested in that but rather starting a separate, a supervisor came over l. I had to replace a phone that I accidently submerged and went to the store for a replacement. I walked in and a young man named Shawn motioned for me to come to where he was. No hello, how are you, etc. Nothing. Rude, borderline hostile. He is not a pleasant person. I started to explain my situation and he abruptly stood up, said nothing and walked to the front door. Apparently he was also serving as a greeter. Every time someone walked in he got up and left me sitting there. Something that should have only taken 20-30 minutes took well over an hour. This young man needs a course in customer relations. When i finished paying for the phone, no thank you or acknowledgement whatsoever. One of the rudest employees I have ever had to deal with. I am so thrilled to finally be rid of Verizon Wireless. Verizon is literally the worst company I have ever had to deal with. Single person? One phone line? Expect to pay $110 a month. But when you have multiple lines is much cheaper. Every single time you speak to anyone in customer service, be it online or in person, you will get a completely different answer each time. I had a phone with them that wasn't paid off yet. I was finally cancelling to go to another provider. On chat I asked if I could return the phone in a physical store (since my last trade in they couldn't find my phone for 8 months and accused me of not sending it back) and I confirmed if I returned it within 30 days I wouldn't be charged for it. I go to a store and the woman tells me they can't take the phone back, that I own it now, and I will be charged for the remaining balance. She claims she doesn't know any companies that take the phone back .. even though she then encourages me to see if my new provider will buy it off of me? I said, so if I was upgrading and I sent this phone back you would throw it away and not use? She said no. Okay, then why can't you take it back? I wasn't expecting money back I was expecting them to take the phone and close my account with me not owing any money on the phone. Talk about the dumbest bullshit ever. I went to this Verizon store on a very busy Saturday morning . I almost left when I saw the line of people waiting to get in when the opened at 10:00am . I stuck it out and ended up vey happy I did . Cale helped me and he was excellent ! He was not in a hurry and not too pushy ! Which is why I have avoided dealing with Verizon for a long time . Also Nelson helped me too I got all the help I needed from both team members Thank you ! I liked how the staff checked you in and called your name when they were ready to help you. If you are in need of a cellular plan, Stay away from these people. We went there shopping for a family plan for three people. Ashley helped us or help is really not the correct word. I was brought up better than to say the word that best describes the situation. We were told a price for the phones and specifically asked if there hidden charges. She pointed out a particular charge and we went on from there. We were quoted a price of 128.98 per month for 3 lines. When we got home and set up our account online we discovered that our first bill was $320.58 and after that our monthly payment was $203.58 for 2 years. We opted for free phones and when we inquired about not accepting the services and just returning the merchandise literally 3 hours after we purchased it we were informed there would be a restocking fee of $35.00 for each of the free phones and the phone cases and screen covers could not be returned so we are out over $205.00 because one employee was worried more about making a sale than telling the customer the truth. We will be contacting the BBB to lodge a complaint. Also, let me add that when we found out about the discrepancy We called Verizon wireless twice and those 2 individuals we spoke to actually each gave us a different price on what our monthly bill was. If your keeping count, 3 Verizon Wireless employees had given us 3 different prices and not one of them was correct. Stay away from these people. I rated them one star because this forum requires at least one star. If there was a way to give them negative stars I would give them a negative 4 stars. Update: I called the Verizon corporate office in Arkansas, Spoke with a most helpful representative named Jabari. Why is 0 stars not an option?? Verizon is dreadful, I quit them years ago but an elderly family member stayed with them until yesterday. Went to WB store at noon on a Friday to help her ditch this lousy company. They conned her into adding a jetpack with a 2 year contract, something she never needed, wanted or used. After 2 years were up she agreed to drop the whole thing. She called Verizon & tried to stop all service over the phone but was told she needed to do so in person at a Verizon store. She went to a Verizon store that told her they discontinued the service but all they did was suspend the account. She continued to get bills & threatening notices. I took off a day from work & she drove 30+ miles one way to meet me at WB store to end the nonsense. Waited 15 minutes to talk to Andrea R. who wrote out all account info & told her to call Verizon & disconnect service. I said No, we are here now & you are going to fix this today. Andrea R, who only seems to be able to roll her eyes & look at her spankin' new iwatch every 2 seconds had me call Verizon from the store to disconnect service. I handed her my phone & told her to call. She did & I was on hold 20 minutes before phone agent told me it was the wrong dept. & call would be transferred, proof that even store employees don't know who/where to call. Thanks to the circus-meets-TGIFriday's atmosphere in the store (blaring music, screaming children, other nosy customers who were compelled to put in their 2 cents' worth) we could not hear the phone or in store explanations of what the issue was. Cale, another store worker, tried to run interference between me & Andrea but I told him to butt out. Eventually Andrew, store manager, showed up & spoke to rep on phone & discontinued all service. We were in the store over an hour, heard every excuse under the sun, had to argue with staff to get them to provide basic customer service & as we were leaving, Andrew said he hears these same issues/complaints all the time. This company is a joke. All the workers want to do is sell you the newest, most expensive phone that just came out. If you're not there to drop $500+ on a new phone, they just pass the buck & tell you they can't help you & call someone else. Awful job when I switched over from AT&T, didn't offee info about switching over, didn't switch over pics from one of the phones and within the first week I was yp there for about a total of 8 hours over 3 days getting stuff straightened out with our phones. I'd give this place zero stars if possible. After experiencing the BEST customer service at the Wyoming Valley Mall location, we decided on this closer location to do an exchange 48 hours later after a promo. The male person who helped us was rude and lazy. After we got home we realized we were charged for an "activation fee" yet phone wasn't actually activated. Called the store and was put on hold for 17 minutes while problem was being "resolved"- until I called back only to learn they had closed since putting me on hold. To top things off, I had to call customer service to active phone, lazy boy never transferred data or contacts, and now can only make calls but not receive them. Place is a cross between a circus and a zoo. In fact one other sales monkey was making strange faces and skipping around. I would expect more from Verizon and was sad to see this downward spiral in customer service. read more
