Buyer beware, this is an authorized dealer, Russell Cellular who sells Verizon phones and has their own setup fees of $40 per line. So, after paying sales tax for two phones worth approximately $800 each, I paid $80 for them to turn the phone on for us. When I got my first Verizon bill and realized this was a separate fee from the Verizon's setup/activation fee, I inquired as to what this entailed from Russell Cellular customer service. They struggled to explain the fee to me, much less justify $40 per line. So much for transparency. read more

Had a great experience at this location. I've never had a bad experience in the 15 years with Verizon. I love this company and their customer service. Came in to get a new cover for my dinosaur iPhone 7. I was shown the accessories wall and every color that would fit my phone. I was asked for my phone number to see if I had any deals on my plan. I was actually told and quite surprised that I could get an upgraded phone basically free. I just had to pay the taxes. WHAT? Ya, let me say that again. A free phone, just pay the taxes. Plus I had $15.00 in Verizon bucks, and, I kid you not, they were going to lower my monthly bill by $6.00 So, I bought a phone, a cover and a screen protector. As my phone is transferring information, I started chatting up with the employee Nick. Great guy, we talked about all kinds of life in general stuff. Great personality, it was just nice to talk while my phone was doing it's thing. When my phone was completely done, he showed me that everything was the same. He asked me to click on some of my apps to make sure they all worked properly. I felt so well treated at this location that I will be back for any of my Verizon needs. And I just want to back up a little bit. I actually went to Target to buy a new cover and a pop-up for the back of my iPhone 7. I found a pop-up, but for covers they only had 12's like I said, I have an old phone. That's when I decided on Verizon. I was drawn to go there. The universe puts you where you need to be. I told him we would pay up front. Salesman said it was $150 which I thought was reasonable. Ali g comes my bill and I find I have $205 on the purchase of the iPhone. Of course it is over 45 days since we got the phone. And policy is within 30 days. So I'm paying $355 for a $125 phone I can buy on Amazon. Go to Target one block away. This is the most unhelpful store I've ever been in. I try to go to Verizon stores for the best deals and information. When I came in, there were two employees in the store and no other customers. It was so bizarre because I kept asking the same question and getting a different answer. But it turns out the answer varies based on my plan. But I need to figure out what plan I'm on, they weren't willing to help, and went ahead with their personal conversation. So I left without what I needed and don't have time to order. Normally I would give them a good review, but my experience this weekend sucked! Samsung pushed an update that screwed up my phone, so I went in to see what I could do. The manager helped me back up my data so I wouldn't lose everything. I didn't understand how to restore everything, so I went back in and the idiot who helped me decided to format my disk. I said "don't do that it will erase everything", but he clicked the button anyway becasue he did not understand the problem or the app used to save my data, so all my info, contacts, photos, apps etc is gone. FORMAT = ERASE. All his manager's help and goodwill is down the tubes and he doesn't give a crap. Some attitude! Words cannot express my frustration and their actions in the end added to the problem. I went in to switch from AT&T because of their rising cost. The Verizon associate quoted me a price that was lower than what I was paying however I had to purchase a new phone because my AT&T phone wouldn't transfer. We went back and forth on the cost because it didn't match what I saw online. The associate explained the difference and we settled on the base bill costing $120. Fast forward several days when I receive my first bill from Verizon and the cost was $160, which is more than what I had paid at AT&T! I immediately called customer service and was told they could match my bill from AT&T for the first year but after that it would go up to Verizon standard. When I tried contacting this store to talk to a manager, it took a visit and two phone calls to finally get someone who still wasn't able to help. Beware of misinformation from the associates no matter how helpful they seem. **UPDATE** Not only did the sales associate lie about my monthly rate, he also lied about the promotional rebate. I was told I would receive a $200 rebate for each phone and $100 for my iPad and that he had submitted all rebate requests for me. A month later, I'm on the phone with Verizon arguing my bill again and I'm told that not only did none of the rebates get submitted but the amounts are incorrect. read more

I waited probably 30 mins more than I needed to because just because an associate didn't see that I was waiting. When he asked if I'd been helped the manager said chimed in "no," (if he knew I hadn't been helped and that his associate wasn't busy, why hadn't he already ask the associate to help me?) I wanted to buy a new phone and was told I would only pay the sales tax (as is standard) but when he told me the total it amounted to a lot more than the sales tax. I said the taxes should only be $60? He said oh there's a "customer success" fee too for setting up your phone so you don't have to. I said no thanks I'll just set it up myself. He said ok that's fine - wait let me ask my manager. Manager didn't want to let him waive it. At that point anybody in customer service knows the easy thing to do is waive this arbitrary fee that I'm already unhappy about because it was slipped in without my knowing... nope, manager goes on to justify it some more and gets pretty rude about it too. I was out of there. I'll order my phone online - no fees Also they give the kids a huge expensive tablet and constantly remind them to not take it off the couch and "be careful!" ... which as a parent had me anxious the whole time about him dropping it... if you have a tablet you use for the kids in the store to keep them busy because everyone is waiting for way too long then you should probably put a case on it. read more

Wow, I went in on December 27th and waited for 1.5 hours to be helped. There were only 2 people working even though it was a super busy time of the year. After being scammed for super expensive tempered glass (2× the average price) they put it on so hastily that it never sealed. The case we bought started flaking 3 days after we got it. I just tried taking it back because I was told explicitly that if there is any problem with the glass that they will replace it, guaranteed. I took it in and they said it was my phone's problem. Then they were going to charge me for shipping the glass even though it was their mistake. I walked out, fed up with being talked to like a 5 year old and scammed. I went to the corporate store just up the road on 183 frontage. They were way more professional, no waiting at all because they had several employees working, and they didn't try to scam me. They explained that the product I was buying was guaranteed but I would have to pay shipping. Verizon corporate was notified and they have also filed a complaint. If I could I would boycott this store. read more

Service at my house is virtually non-existent. Told Verizon and they refuse to do anything. Purchased new phones at the recommendation of sales clerk. LG ThinqV60. 1 paid off other on payments. They paid off wrong phone. New phone starts scewing up almost immediately. Of course my problem. Charged us $20 a month for 5G which we don't have in our area and according to Verizon customer service is free. Either going back to AT&T or finding another company. Low and behold, when I got home I checked the website, and sure enough, it clearly stated that I COULD put it on my plan and pay it off. I came in with my parents to swap out an old tablet for a new one on my parents' account. Blake was able to get everything set up in no time, including a new SIM card and a transfer of the old data to the new device, walking my mom through a new gmail account creation as she had forgotten her password (she never used it anyway). He also got my dad upgraded to a new mobile hotspot to replace an out dated one free of charge. He even helped my dad cancel an unnecessary sub account by coaching him through the interaction with customer service phone support. Super friendly and informative throughout the process. read more

If you're an AT&T customer thinking of switching to Verizon, don't. I wish I hadn't. We (three of us) joined another family member's plan. We purchased two iPhones and we were charged $220 the day of ordering the phones, when asked why it was so much, the salesman said taxes for the phones. Online the sales tax for two iPhones was about $120. That same day the salesman said he had about $80 wiggle room and I could pick out whatever I wanted FREE of charge. I asked three times I don't have to pay anything extra, I'm not going to be charged anything extra, because I already had a phone case and screen protectors picked out on amazon and didn't need them. He went on saying it would be no extra charge, its completely free. I didn't get a receipt the first day but paid $220 and I was told it was taxes on iPhones. When I pick up the iPhones the salesman says he will put on screen protectors for me and messes up one of them, he even points it out to me, it has bubbles so he says he'll fix it. Then gives me the phones and receipt. When I get home I realize that $120 was tax on iPhone but the other $100 was for the "free" case and two "free" screen protectors. And one of the screen protectors with bubbles he tried to fix, part of it wouldn't even adhere to the screen anymore, so my nephew took it off and threw it away. And my brother used his iPhone 6 from previous carrier (he got the phone from a friend so it may have originally been a Verizon phone) so he received a new sims card and that night his phone caught fire. So I went back to ask about the charges for "free" case and screen protector which were charged on the receipt. Salesman said he waived other fees. As a new customer if you can waive fees I think you should instead of saying you're giving me free stuff and charging me for it, making it more expensive for me to switch carriers. Anyways, we tried to use our unlocked paid off iPhone from AT&T to replace the iPhone that caught fire and Verizon won't use phones purchased from AT&T! Even if they're unlocked and paid off. The system won't recognize the phones! Our first month bill is $450. So what little we would save month to month doesn't seem worth it to me to be charged so much initially. I wish I'd stayed with AT&T. The customer service I received left me frustrated and disappointed from being told about "free" stuff, to putting on screen protector wrong, and each time I went in, there was some issue that took an hour or two to resolve. What can you do? Warn others I guess. And hope maybe the sales associates will be trained better. And spending $670 the first month and not being able to use our phones from AT&T is enough to make me regret my choice. read more
