We walked in and there was another family already waiting, with no employees in sight. 5 minutes later a girl wanders out to help them. We wait for another 5 minutes and the GM wanders out to help us. We just needed to return a phone. The GM just stared at his ipad for another few minutes, not saying anything. At some point, he said sorry Im just trying to login, its slow. Which is wild because how do they have slow internet? 10 minutes later they said they couldn't help us and to go to a company store. Denton was great, came into the store today to get a phone activated from a different retail store within the verizon company for my Gf. He was really nice made conversation and talked about his day. He helped us get her phone activated and made sure everything was backed up and ready to go for the new phone. We ended up buying an apple watch as well because he told us about a promotion that was still active. It was a great experience I am with ATT and my GF is with Verizon but once I finish paying off my phone I'm definitely switching to Verizon. Only because of Denton being so personable. There was about 6 people in the store meaning customers and he took care of all of us alone. He was the only employee nobody else was scheduled. He was calm and cool and collected. Didn't rush us. I have been a Verizon Customer for 20 years. Over the years their service became worse and worse. It also became more and more expensive. The customer service takes forever to speak with an agent. I have switched to TMobile and have never regretted the move. I discovered Verizon has no customer loyalty plan. Since this is the store where I bought service, I am very unhappy. This store made it seem like I would get such a good deal with Verizon Wireless and instead I have gotten ripped off for the last 2 years. The prices Verizon charges are exorbitant, especially with the large areas they have no service in. I have switched to a better company with way better service and actual rates quoted when I switched apparent on bill, with no hidden charges. My other issue with Verizon is how rude the operators/ customer service reps are. They always have attitude and are not at all helpful. Went in to get my prepaid line activated with Verizon's A+ signal, and very pleased with the customer service that I received at the store with mike. Coming from the auto sales industry I appraise the guy for handling my questions and concerns also hooking me up with charge-off and deals. Bad ATTITUDE, BAD SERVICE. I WISH I COULD GIVE ZERO STAR. Today I walked into this Verizon Authorized Retailer to get my iPhone 12 Pro Max that I ordered on last Black Friday and this guy (I believe his name is Mike, I even asked for his name and he lied his name was Victor??) told us that we can't get the phone anymore? excuse me?? He kept telling us that it is not Black Friday anymore that deal is over blah blah blah. Do you really think that we come in today thinking get the deal that ended last Black Friday??? They told us as long as if order gets placed before Black Friday we could still get the $700 Trade-in offer and $300 gift card (btw you must get the $100 plan every months). So we 'ordered' the iPhone 12 pro max on Black Friday and he was the one who helped us that day. it is ridiculous now he have to say "oh we can't do nothing at this point" and I should leave the store and try other places if they have better deals. Now that I claimed his attitude and how this thing went on through the Verizon Customer Service, we also realized that he canceled and deleted our order from the system. I switched over to Verizon from sprint back in December. Since then every time I send in my information for my Visa card rebate I get a response saying that they need something else. First it was the final bill I sent that in. Now it's a bill showing termination fees that have to be circled and not all the pages of the bills just the ones that we need and blah blah blah. I'm starting to believe they'll were you over with the promise of up to $650 rebate. Which they never in fact ever plan on giving you. i have been with verizon for many years now, and i currently have two i-10 phones. and i9 want to upgrade to a I-12pro! my partner has t-mobile service. lately in las vegas,where i own a home. i have been treated like a criminal at the verizon store on Rampart and Charleston! i have been refused entry many times, and i am angry! i have tried calling verizon lately and i cannot get thru to talk to a sales agent, about upgrading my I-10sx phone(2) and they will not talk to me without a pin code? i don't know any,and they won't talk to me,with any other ID possible! i am fed up with verizon, and the have false advertising about 5g service here! there are 1800 cities in america that have 5g providers, and las vegas is not one of them? Are we too small or what? i plan on just walking freely into a local T-Mobile store, which i have been in this week, they will said i can get a trade in value for my10sx of $856 and they will contact verizon when my new 12pro phone comes in, cancel my service, collect small monthly payments from me, and i will have my new T-Mobile phones to go home with, and only have to pay a small monthly payment for several years! That is why we plan on switching all equipment to T-Mobile,and never have to deal with all the stress and anxiety caused by Verizon again! Thank god, and saved a lot of money! I am very disappointed. I have never gotten back on to yelp to write a follow up review however there were a few problems after I wrote the first one. First it was the rebate situation. I thought oh how nice of them to do all the paperwork for the rebate for me so all I had to do was place a stamp and I was good to go but then turns out the paperwork was wrong so I had come back in and have them re do the whole thing and I had to put another stamp to resend it. Second they told me to come back in because they had overcharged me and had to refund back the money. I originally wanted to pay off my phone so I said can't you just put that towards my payment for the phone and they said no. So I had to take time out of my day to come in and have it fixed. Well turns out he forgot I wanted to pay off the phone so it wasn't an overcharge so basically I went in there for nothing. Third time they call me again saying I need to come in because the transaction was done incorrectly. So we had to do a refund then anther charge and they said it would be in my account 24 to 48hrs. Well, it's been that long and I still haven't seen my refund so I had to call again and he found out it takes up to 5 business days. Seems like they need a review on their policies. I am normally not someone to give bad reviews but even after the fact, they didn't offer anything to help smooth this over. I can understand one mistake but three times and only an apology was given, to me that is not good customer service. read more
