I am extremely disappointed with my experience purchasing a built-in refrigerator from Best Buy. We paid $450 for the installation and an additional $400 to have the electrical outlet moved, expecting a professional, hassle-free installation. Instead, it has been one problem after another. The first installation team arrived without the refrigerator. The following day, another crew delivered the refrigerator but couldn't get it aligned properly. A week later, Best Buy sent yet another installer, who still failed to complete the job. During the installation attempts, the installers repeatedly pulled and shoved the refrigerator by force instead of using the built-in leveling wheels. As a result, they broke one of the refrigerator's leveling legs/wheels. Now, unbelievably, Best Buy is telling us that we have to pay for the part their installers broke before they will return to finish the installation. Three weeks after delivery, our refrigerator is still not fully installed. The water line has never been connected, so we have no water and no ice maker. We paid for a complete installation, yet the job remains unfinished. To make matters worse, the store manager told us that the installation department and the repair department do not communicate with each other, so she doesn't know how to resolve the issue. As the customer, we are being left to deal with Best Buy's internal communication problems. This entire experience has been frustrating, stressful, and completely unacceptable. We paid for professional installation, yet have endured multiple failed appointments, damage to a brand-new appliance, and three weeks without a fully functioning refrigerator. We are simply asking Best Buy to stand behind its service. We expect Best Buy to replace the part their installers damaged at no cost to us, complete the installation immediately, connect the water line so the refrigerator is fully operational, verify that the appliance is properly aligned and functioning as intended, and reimburse us for the installation service if they are unable to deliver the professional installation we paid for. Customers should not have to pay for damage caused by Best Buy's installers or spend weeks trying to coordinate between departments that do not communicate with one another. I hope Best Buy's corporate customer service reviews this situation and takes the appropriate steps to resolve it promptly. We are still willing to work toward a resolution, but after three weeks, it is time for Best Buy to take responsibility and make this right. read more

Date of visit: June 1, 2026 Sadly our TV didn't make the journey from Milwaukee to Las Vegas and was scratched during the move and was time to go to the TV graveyard. The wait to recycle was kind of long because there was a lady at the front of the line that I am pretty sure was running some sort of laptop return scam and finally they came over and said that I could just leave the TV. Normally I would have to pay for it because it was a larger TV but they appreciated my patience and waived the cost, which I really appreciated. I have been a Best Buy shopper since the mid to late 90s. I like supporting the local brick and mortar stores as they have a direct impact to our local economies. Afterall, I like looking and touching the things I want to buy and if I can make sure a local store stays open and people remain gainfully employed, I am all for it. During a recent visit to the store, there was a misunderstanding on the use of $10 certificate. It may have been my fault, as it may have expired, but being unable to locate any record of it in the app or online account frustrated me. I made my purchase without the benefit of the ghost certificate for all the reasons mentioned above. A day later, I received an online survey about the experience. I gave the store high marks for cleanliness, staff, etc. and shared my experience in the comments section. A few days later, a Services Experience Manager reached out sharing some tips regarding the app, certificates and how I had multiple profiles in their system should be consolidated to make my experience better. Icing on the cake, was they gave me the benefit of the $10 certificate in the form of a small refund on my purchase. Best Buy is a large organization. I tried to buy an antivirus protection in cash (Best Buy - Arroyo Crossing, Las Vegas NV). The cashier asked for my credit card. I explained that I was buying the antivirus protection for just 1 year and paying in cash (which I have done the last 5 plus years). The cashier stated it was for future subscriptions. I only wanted the subscription for a year, nothing more. The cashier would not sell the antivirus protection until I swiped my credit card. I left Best Buy and went next door to Office Depot and purchased the same anitivirus protection, in cash, no credit card needed. Definitely not shopping at Best Buy again. read more

Javier assisted me during the consultation, and I was extremely impressed with his professionalism, knowledge, and patience. From the very beginning, Javier provided excellent customer service. He took the time to thoroughly explain what was happening with my computer, answered all of my questions, and made sure I understood everything before moving forward. I never felt rushed, and he was very detailed in his explanations, which helped put my mind at ease. It's not often that you find someone who is both knowledgeable and genuinely willing to help. When I walk in I always get greeted friendly by the best buy workers in the blue shirts.. but the other day I came in and I was going to the geek squad for some questions regarding an installation( located right inside Best Buy) i did with Best Buy's product and a geek squad consultant, but I was not greeted well by any means. I was very warm and friendly but the associate was not friendly at all, Lisa was the associate at the time and the way she spoke was very harsh.. in the wrong manner and demeanor. It's like she didn't want to be there. When costumers spend money on products and installations, hospitality and costumer service should always be a priority. Regardless of spending it's a given to be treated with proper and polite costumer service. Joe offered us help multiple times and was super helpful in looking for other options of phones within our budget- which we didnt even ask him. We tried to support Best Buy We thought they were a smaller competitor against big box stores like Costco. Never again!! We were spending $160 a year for membership, in their pathetic, geek squad, and that was a total waste of money for almost 10 years we paid We only had two claims for that amount of money during the period of coverage, and both of those were denied. We recently bought an over the range microwave the total coming to $450 including $140 for installation. The first model arrived defective, we didn't notice it las it was installed but the great installer from Summit noticed it right away as I did when the plastic was removed. We rescheduled a new install and the same dent in the same type of microwave was there and then a nightmare began. Dealing with calls that I believe were in India, which I have no problem with but trying to understand their poor English was challenging and they had no regard or concerns. They offered us $45 return and a gift card but would not refund our payment for the microwave and install cost - they said that's my problem you paid for the install the second microwave arrived and was damaged worst than the first. After spending 45 minutes on the phone to get to speak to somebody at Best Buy geek squad I immediately canceled our $160 a year membership that we have been paying for for over 10 years that they could handle and gave me a $3.10 refund none of the products we had insured haven't recovered by Best Buy a TV at burn in your problem, a broken icemaker in the refrigerator after six months your problem. We are done with Best Buy. I recommend no one ever ever shop there again. I've never given a never review on Yelp, but Best Buy earned this. Late post from my visit on July 20th. Needed to purchase a new smooth top electric range. I browsed around the appliance section for a bit and was approached by Grace. We chatted for a bit and Iet her know that I needed to purchase a smooth top electric range. She showed me the models they had on the floor and since it's a very limited selection due to space issues, she suggested that we check on-line for other options. She was very patient and helped me compare several models and explained the different features. After discussing the options, I decided to switch over to an induction range instead. I lucked out as Samsung had a special offer which included the cookware set, which had a retail value of approximately $400. That offer sealed the deal for me. I ended up purchasing a Samsung - 6.3 cu. ft. Smart Instant Heat Slide-in Induction Range with Air Fry & Convection+ - Black Stainless Steel. I was really pleased with my purchase and by the excellent customer service Grace provided. BB please recognize that Grace went above and beyond to assist me with my purchase. Since we're renovating the kitchen I'm going to need a couple more items and I'll be sure to ask for Grace. read more

*Update* waited 7 days for a new TV to arrive. I had the delivery guys take it out of the box and plug it in. Noticed right away once the box was open the TV was super dusty and dirty. The guys plugged it in and half the screen was colored lines. First TV last week had screws in the back missing and didn't come on at all. OK maybe I just have the worst luck in the world but my major issue with Best Buy is how long they take to replace an item or refund your money. I called immediately and they said it was nothing they could do for 24 to 48 hours. Our you serious, you are Best Buy, they could easily call a local store and have a geek squad guy drive me a new tv over or just refund my money. By the time I get a new TV or a refund it will be 13-14 days at the least, that's half a month. I've missed and had to cancel two Monday football parties my wife and I planned. read more

So I preordered the Pokemon Legends ZA game a month in advance and when I went in to pick my preorder up the lady didn't hand me the preorder bonus mat, so i asked about getting my preorder bonus and she said that the preorder bonus mat wasn't on my order so she wasn't going to be giving me my preorder bonus. I've got nothing nice to say about this place, so I'll try and keep it short. Finally, after years, I decided to replace my all-in-one. Went up to this location and talked to a young man, told him I needed it all in one, that it had to have fax capabilities amongst other things. Thought he knew what he was doing so I didn't check it. Got it home and it doesn't have fax capabilities. Reboxed it and back to the store it went. Bought another one, made sure myself that it had fax capabilities. Brought it home. Hired them for the install. So that day comes and guess what, they send me a theater guy! Said theater guy is here for three hours plus and cannot set it up. Upon, sitting with him that long, I noticed that this machine has to run through an installed application. With the application, every step that is taken to scan anything is a seven step process! So, that one gets boxed and taken back up to the store. Bought another one, different brand so that I didn't have to have the app. It was not in store so I had them deliver it. I left my front gate blocked wide open, yet the delivery people for the store left it outside of said gate. I'm not a weakling by any means, but I am a smaller woman and this thing weighs about 45 pounds. This is too much stupid to come out of one place!!! On top of all this, you cannot get a phone call directly into the store so it's running across town over and over and over again for anything. Even talked to the managers, Karen & Zach, this last time and you know what, nothing seems to put a fire under their associates or employees butts! read more

I went to the Southwest Las Vegas location and was very disappointed with the lack of customer service. I already knew what I wanted when I came in, but when I asked if someone could assist me, I was told "I can't." When I asked if they could find someone who could help, I was simply ignored. Eventually, an employee did come over, but he couldn't answer basic questions like how much the state tax was. When I asked to see the product I wanted--which was locked in a glass case--I was told I couldn't unless I was ready to purchase it. Even when I explained that I just wanted to see it in person, I was still refused. This experience was frustrating and unprofessional. My spouse and I walked out, as it was clear that proper customer service was lacking. This is especially disappointing because we've been loyal Best Buy customers for years, and this was our first truly bad experience with one of your stores. read more

Having an injury and placing an order for PICK UP did not help in the situation and that I was in. Communicated with customer service via the app that if I wanted to change my order to a curbside pick up, all I have to do is park in a designated spot and call the store. Unfortunately, the store Was busy. No one came to the line for 10 minutes proceeded to go inside and waited in the line advised the rep "Marvin" who saw me standing in the line for pick up. A service representative came up to the register next to me and serviced other customers in line that came into the line after me. And as the female representative walked right past me "and didn't even address to say that someone would be with me in a moment." Obviously store representative "Marvin" so my frustration and concern for being completely ignored and proceeded to help me, but with the most condescending comment " well. The store is busy so you just need to be more patient." Therefore escalating the situation even further after I explained that I was already waiting outside for 10 minutes with no one answering the store, phone and having the convenience with a current sport injury, having to walk in and pick up my order, which I understand was not originally as a pick up order, but I was advised from the representative who opened my account and chatted and notated what my procedure was to do due to my injury Advise Marvin as he had a smirk and smile on his face to speak to the manager, and with a unfriendly or unapologetic tone, proceeded to just make no attempt to de-escalate the discomfort with the way that I was being ignored. I am no better than anybody else, but I sit in line and was ignored and for other customers got service to pass me I know any other customer would've addressed and felt concerned in the same situation And for a store representative, whom I'm sure will not be represented for his action to tell someone to be more patient not understanding that I was struggling through an injury and I was advised from a Best Buy representative to wait in my car and to proceed with curbside assistance. This individual paid no mind too, and again ended my night with a condescending smirk on his face, not knowing that he made the situation worse. Even on the attempts to call the store, apparently per customer service there's no way that a customer can call and speak to anyone or any department in the store because unfortunately they do not have that access. Extremely disappointing to know that there's so much limit to what a customer can have, but there's easy access for a customer to be offended and or mistreated with no recourse or access to it but a customer service line that's gonna take just a simple documentationand give no access to a manager or store manager, no matter what the circumstance is or no matter how urgent the situation is. You are only allowed as a customer to walk in, even if your mobility is impaired to deal directly with any escalated situation any other matter will not be considered, and that came directly from a customer service rep! I purchased the Ring doorbell in Feb 2024. I paid for installation but now the doorbell has quit working. I was never told this requires a subscription but regrettably signed up after it was installed. Now the technician that came today said I have to upgrade to a new transformer. This was never mentioned to me at the time of sale either that this item requires a specific transformer. Now I have to go shopping for a new transformer, pay for installation and then have the Geek Squad come back out and set this up again. The has been a dreadful, disappointing experience costing me lots of extra money due to lack of communication and carelessness from the sales team. He points me to where I buy AirPods, the front register. I get my turn in line, ask about the price match, the kid goes and asks someone in a different colored shirt (which must mean "Best Buy Mananger") and comes back and gives something along the lines of "We DoN'T pRiCe MaTcH lImItEd TiMe SaLeS"... Aren't all price reductions for a limited time? This place is just screaming "we don't want your money". Works for me! My new AirPods will be arriving tonight. If I could leave a 0 star review I would. I took my X15 Alienware laptop into Geek Squad for an upgrade and the Geek Squad tech damaged my computer. I was offered an M16 for a replacement and once I started using the computer I very quickly realized it did not work. It freezes and lags when it is not crashing completely. I went into the store only to be told they can either repair the computer I was given or they can issue me a credit for the price of my original computer. They do not make the X15 model anymore so I would have to pay 1k out of pocket for the X16. I was there for an hour and a half yesterday arguing with the supervisor and then spent four hours today being transferred from person to person who all told me basically that I am SOL. Absolutely ridiculous. I will never bring any of my devices to this place again and cannot believe how I am being treated as a customer. read more

However, I have been waiting a month or so for someone to contact me about a treadmill install to ensure my belt is installed correctly. The store itself is hard to get someone to help you at times.
