I would think twice about using this store and if there were other means to purchase a phone and services through Verizon, use those sevices. I have found this store to work much like the stereotypical view of the used car sales force from the 80s and 90s. They will misrepresent facts and promotions in order to make their sale. Honesty and respect for the customer is not words I would use to describe how they approach customer service. I recently went to the store at Worth Avenue, to understand the purchase made by my spouse and daughter. At first the salesman (Tamu) denied he was the one who worked with them, then once we past the fact he had been the salesman, he continued with a lot of double talk and would not look me in the eye. His deception and lack of respect for me as the customer was overwhelming. The facts were he did provide an iPad at a promotional rate, but he promoted a discount as if it was a discount that only he could provide to the customer from the store, rather than a discount available to our family due to multiple phones and veteran status. Thus our bottom line incurred additional charges that we would not have taken on, had the salesmen be honest and up front about our purchase. Fortunately I was able to go through Verizon Wireless online and rectify the issues and get our account and monthly cost to where is should have been after the initial dealing with the Verizon Wireless Store. read more

I received a response from the manager of the store apologizing and offering to make things right. My previous experience was from a year ago so it looks like there's been a turnover in staff or a major adjustment in their business model! Based on his outreach, I'm willing to give this particular store another try. That's what good customer service is all about! He gets 5 starts for that. read more

I went into the store with an unlocked Moto G5 Plus and tried to upgrade a broken device on my account. After waiting an hour, I was told by the associate helping me that this device is incompatible with Verizon Wireless. I went home and logged on to the Verizon website and successfully activated the phone on my own, but now I have to wait for a SIM card to be shipped to me. (After requesting a SIM card at the store to take home with me, the associate refused). So all in all, I wasted an hour of my life plus the time required to have a SIM card shipped to me. Whoever is running this store needs to train their employees better. read more

Worst customer experience EVER! I've been a loyal Verizon customer for years and one of the things I always loved was their customer service until now! I went in to upgrade my phone and a sales associate Gobind Singh was my sales person and told me a bunch of lies just to get a sale! He told me that if I get the hum for my car my bill would be cheaper then if I didn't get it because they had a promotion going on. He quoted me my bill would be 20.00 cheaper by me getting this device and if I didn't get it my price would be more so I got it but something didn't seem right so I called Verizon wireless to ask questions and everything he told me was a lie.. he down graded my insurance without my permission and just told me that he was giving me a discount. I had to take time out of my schedule to go back to Verizon the next day and return the item! Total waste of time that I can't get back over someone lying to a customer just to make a sale! He completely lied to me and made up a higher price just so I could get the hum device. The manager wasn't there but there was an assistant manager there and she returned the item and refunded my account but she acted like he didn't do anything wrong while he laughed and joked with his co workers, I called the store manager and he told me he would look into the issue. No one seemed to care or to take it as a serious matter... i called the district manager and he was very helpful he credited my account but that's not what I was looking for what I really want is for their employees to not lie to customers! But the district manager listened to me which I appreciate and assured me that's not how Verizon operates and it should of never happened. I should of received this treatment without having to contact the district manager. read more

I had gone to this Verizon location in hopes of understanding my bill and what discounts I had applied. I have another line with a friend and wanted to make sure we were calculating everything correctly to split. Instead all I got were representatives talking amongst themselves and not welcoming us into the empty store. As I was trying to get my question answered from a sales rep I don't know the name of she told me they don't do bills in the store and interrupting me every time I tried to explain what I was actually looking for. As it it was already difficult to hear over the other reps chatting all standing around us, she then proceeded to speak to me rudely, shrug her shoulders and tell me nothing of what I was curious about. She seemed irritated that we were even in there. I was livid enough to just let her speak, say ok and not start anything. DO NOT GO HERE!! CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TERRIBLE!! read more

First of, I am not here to use it against the entire store but just the person who "tried" to help us today. I didn't get his name because I don't remember him telling us his name. He is a short middle eastern maybe pakistani or indian guy, a little on the chubby side. Anywho, last Night my husband surprised me with an Apple watch series 3, 42mm in dark grey color. I really wanted the silver color but Verizon store only has dark gray and pink. so we went back to the store today to try and order the color that I wanted. we were told we have to pay $35 restocking fee even though the box was never opened. He told us that it doesn't matter because once they've linked the watch to a phone number they cannot technically say it's still brand new. The person attending to us was wearing the same color as the watch that I wanted so said I wanted that color. his reply was "THIS IS MORE EXPENSIVE!" Yes, we are bitching about the $35 restocking fee but not because of the amount but because of the principle behind it. So who is he to tell us that what he is wearing is more expensive? Then he goes about telling us just to buy different bracelets for the watch. When would this dude stop telling us what to do???!! If we are paying $400 for a watch I believe we are entitled to get the exact one that we wanted. Granted my husband picked the wrong color to surprise me but I don't believe he would have even tried to do so if he knew we will get this crappy service trying to exchange it. We left the store but how that guy talked to us really bothered my husband so he turned the car around & returned the watch with a different representative. I bought the Galaxy S7 Edge from this Verizon store a couple of weeks ago. The location is great, visible from the PWC Parkway & not obstructed by any trees. Once I walked in I was immediately greated by a nice customer service associate who asked what i was in the market for, I told her I wanted a new phone so she took down my name and gave me an estimated appointment time. After a couple of minutes browsing the phones & the new VR head set, my name was called and Reggie introduced me to the S7 Edge & the Droid turbo. He was very knowledgeable on both phones along with the data plans. Once I settled on the S7 Edge he checked us out in no time. Unfortunately I had over 500 pics & 1000 songs on my old phone that I needed transfered to my new phone, Reggie stayed after closing time to transfer everything from my old phone to my new S7. After a couple of days with my new phone I received a text from Andre the GM asking about my experience and if i needed any assistance with my new phone. I've been with Verizon for over 3 years and this is definitely one of their premier shops. read more

I saw the negative reviews on here and noticed that there hasn't been a recent review. Let me just say that I had a WONDERFUL experience! My iphone went missing and a gentleman returned it to this store. Praise God! The assistant Manager, Ms. Khalid, promptly and very diligently found me and I was able to get it back. This is above and beyond what is expected and the fact that she did is so promptly speaks VOLUMES. Customer service is awesome at this store. I highly recommend it. read more

Slow customer service but love verizon and fios

I went to the Woodbridge Verizon retail store to buy a new phone for my son's B-day. I have had an account with FIVE phone and an Ipad spending thousands and thousands of dollars her and with Verizon. As soon as we got to the front door my husband said " I hate coming here, I hate this store, they are so rude here"...boy was he right. I had just come back from sightseeing in DC and apparently lost my driver's license. The girl waiting on us said "if you don't have your license I can't help you"...while my husband was double checking the car I asked if in the event I couldn't find the OL why wouldn't they help me, that I had just been there on Monday of this very week, made a purchase which I charged to my Verizon account and no one insisted I give them my OL then. She said "I don't care, if you don't have a license I'm not going to help you" ....I was dumbfounded by her rudeness and ask her to tell me why she was being so rude. She walked off and talked to a mgr. named Courtnay who came over to us. He told me that it was company policy to identify people. I asked him why the young lady couldn't have explained it in a more diplomatic manner and since my husband standing right there with his license and same address and last name couldn't be validated. They said he wasn't on the account. Use some common sense, what rude morons this place has. I am tempted to go back to Sprint, my husband is right, they are the rudest people here. If the Verizon rep I spoke to on the phone once I got home to call and complain hadn't calmed me down I would have switched all of our service. I told them I won't step one foot in their door again unless the mgr. calls me and apologizes and assures me steps are being taken to improve employee customer service. read more

Complete RIP OFF!!! My family, myself, and everyone I know will never consider using there company for any services! We have all been loyal customers for many years which means nothing at all to a get rich quick company such as Verizon. Never had such a bad experience with such a shady company. Watch out for the hidden scams they will continuously raise your rates every year or every chance they get. What a joke! We learned over the years, WHY pay at least double the amount for there simple cable, internet, phone bill as apposed to other providers for pretty much the same service? For example the family plan we share came out to almost $600 in one month due to the fact that we barely went over the Data plan. Being a loyal customer for almost 9 years now, when I called them to see if they could possibly reduce anything from that $600 bill they simply said repeatedly there was no chance and that I was paying for there quality service. Seriously? I have 4 people on this family plan for just our cell phone bill not even including the $230 monthly cable and internet plan we have for incredibly slow out dated internet speed along with basic t.v. On top of that they cut off our cell phone service at one point because we had made one late payment. I'm blessed there was no family emergency at that specific point in time given the fact my wife and I have two young children! I'm warning anyone who might be considering there services, might want to shop around first. read more

I am shopping around for a new phone and plan and this store has the absolute worst customer service between it self, the Sprint store across the street and both the T-Mobile and AT&T stores in the mall. When I walked in, I was greeted with a brisk "Can I help you" as if I was walking on her mother's grave as opposed to the "Hi, welcome to *carrier*. How are you?" of all the other stores. I was then handed off like cattle so one of the associates could try to meet his monthly service quota. Something none of the other stores even mentioned. After discussing their astronomical prices for a bit ($60 for 6 GB when MetroPCS gives me unlimited for that price and Sprint has 10 GB for $40) and seeing if there were any current promotions (BOGO Balaxy S7) I thanked the (unhelpful) associate and left and I didn't even get so much as a bye in return. I will never use Verizon as my cell carrier even if they were the only provider on earth. read more
