Gennnn Prooooo, when the lights go ouuuut, you stay onnnnn!…read more First of all no other Generator company has a better jingle. Periodt! I was on hold jammin this banger and almost hoped they wouldn't pick up the phone so I could keep listening to this melodic country tune ! I was trying to hold out for a power outage B4 leaving my review but by the grace of God I haven't had an outage. In Jesus name. Won't he do it? I'll come back to update my review when one occurs. At any rate, Gen Pro has been top notch from salesman, Justin Tran going over everything with me thoroughly during my initial consultation to the electrician and gas guys ensuring I was adequately set up for my install and then the install itself, *chef's kiss, Outstanding! The electrician even came out the next day when I noticed my a/c wasn't coming on. It was a hot summer day on a Saturday in Houston and I was determined to get a hold of someone at the company to resolve my issue that day. I figured I'd have to go without A/c until the following Monday, but God and the fine folks at Gen Pro quickly came out to fix the issue! I had called sales guy, Justin, the weekend operators, everyone I could get a hold of and within minutes they had gotten a hold of the electrician who ultimately sped to my home like a knight and shining armor in his Hey Dude weekend/day off shoes to quickly resolve my issue. He even moved my inoperable vehicle out of the way to get access to my attic. They could've ignored me. How often does the sales guy actually pay attention to you after he's gotten his sale? How often do the the operators located in another city (Dallas) track down the electrician and then the electrian speed over to your house on their Saturday off to help you out?? Well that's the level of service you get from A&A Gen Pro. Superior. These folks go above and beyond. Additionally the gentleman who installed my generator had a great sense of humor, was super professional, kind, knowledgeable and went over everything with me to ensure I understood what to anticipate regularly, during an outage, routine maintenance visits, things I could do on my own when/if ever needed, etc. As he promised, my generator cycles through like clockwork every Saturday at 10AM ensuring it's readiness should the power go out. Im so glad I selected A&A Gen Pro as my standby generator provider 10 out of 5 stars to these fine folks and there bomb/catchy theme song! Gennnn Prooooo, when the lights go out, you stay onnnn!

We had a sales person (Matt) came for an estimate for standby home generator on April 30, 2026. We…read moresigned the contract and paid for a deposit with credit card. We applied for their Synchrony Bank payment plan with no interest for 18 months. After sales guy left I checked the location of the proposed area and saw that there is a vent there. I called and emailed him. He said he didn't know what type of vent but the generator is vertically 5' away from the vent and 5' away from a window. However, the generator is NOT 5' horizontally from the vent. We also told GenPro sales guy it takes 30 days for HOA approval. GenPro emailed us the estimate on May 5. I applied for permit with HOA on May 5 after talking to sales guy and receiving his drawn in generator in my pictures that I sent him. Meanwhile I emailed our builder (May 3) and independent home inspector (May 6) to find out what type of vent is near the proposed location. We thought the fresh air intake vent is on the roof. It took them a few days and we received replies on May 6. They confirmed that it is the fresh air intake vent. So when the generator emits carbon monoxide it would travel approximately 59-60" up into the fresh air intake. Yes I took into account the concrete pad and the top of the generator. I measured the vertical distance from the height of the generator to the bottom of the vent. On May 6, their install team emailed and said they would do installation on May 18. I told GenPro to hold off on everything as I am waiting for HOA approval and I am not comfortable with the proposed location and need to do more research. This was the same day I received replies from builder and home inspector. GenPro then sent a field supervisor to my house on May 8 to answer questions. He said GenPro would move the location further along the wall and we would not have to pay for the extra electrical and gas trenching cost. This would mean there is about 20' between the generator and AC where we can't push the lawnmower in. We have a narrow lot. We do not feel this is best for us. In addition when time comes replacing the AC unit would have to be lifted above the generator. There is no gate on the side with the AC and proposed generator. Meanwhile Synchrony Bank charged us 50% of the balance on May 1 (over $6,000). I received an email of the CC balance on the account and it is due 6-2-2026. I did not receive the Synchrony credit card in the mail until May 11 and have not even activated the credit card. I have emailed GenPro on May 11 to cancel, request deposit refund and charge back to the Synchrony amount. I have not heard from them. BEWARE of this company. The sales team just cared about making the sale. If I had not questioned the proposed location GenPro would have installed the generator at a location that is UNSAFE and possible leading to death. See my picture of the vent and GenPro's marked up of where the generator would be.
