It turned out to be as much fun to mush around in my fingers as to eat. I decided to enjoy its saccharine substance because it cost a lot of money. While playing Candy Crush, I nibbled until my pancreas was humming and my brain was pleasingly packed with fructose and swimming in dopamine. So if that's what you want from candy, it works. I realize there's not a large range of possible quality to many candies but some products seem to not be as delicious as they could be, compared to, say, Kilwin's. And my sampling is admittedly not large so they could still win me over, with a banana chew perhaps.

It was so rich and delicious! The staff was full of information about the offerings, although they seemed only mildly interested in sharing their wisdom on this particular day. They aren't currently letting folks sit inside to eat and drink (they have signage that shares that they have a little one with chronic illness who they are trying to keep healthy) but they have a few chairs and tables outside and it was a lovely day so that is exactly what we did! For a person looking for inexpensive okay chocolate, keep walking but for those with discerning taste buds- you are in for a special treat!

The staff is always friendly and patient, even when there's a long line. I love that it's in the middle of old town and that it's a stand alone. If you're indecisive, they'll let you try the flavors and they will even mix and match flavors on any size. I don't live in Fort Collins anymore, but I do think about this place often and make sure I stop by anytime I'm in town, regardless of the weather outside!
