We really liked everything that we got and thought it was definitely above average. Although I love Arkansas with all my heart, Italian food is not exactly a strong suit. We were in town for a funeral and ate here because the reviews were good. It was pretty expensive ($18 or so for meals). Grilled chicken scampi was not good so my husband gave me some of his chicken parm. It was pretty good but kind of pricey. Maybe it's the area. Their bread is so good. You get a bunch of warm rolls with your meal, and I highly recommend dipping them in your soup. You do get a soup or salad with your meal as well. Their soups are very VERY delicious. The first time we came it was Cream of Chicken, and I definitely had it with hesitancy since my only previous experience with Cream of Chicken soup was Campbell BUT theirs was SO good. Today we had the tomato basil bisque- and it was AMAZING! I may have over ate on just rolls and soup. And the waiter packed us to-go bread ‍ Both times I've gone, I ordered pasta - of course! They were so delicious, and you can really taste the quality of the ingredients. The shrimp tasted fresh and the texture was FAR from rubbery. The pastas have very subtle but delicious flavoring. We got a cannoli the last time we were here, and it was also yummy - especially considering my last experience with a cannoli was at Disney World Epcot. I wanted to love this place! Been looking for an Italian restaurant in Conway and decided to try them. We got the calamari, chocolate cannoli, chocolate cake, baked ziti, cheese bread, & lasagna. I wanted an authentic Italian taste but if I'm honest... I could've made every dish myself. Nothing was very seasoned and everything was pretty bland. Took the family to the movies and decided to try the new place across from the theater. So we arrive and are seated in less than 5 mins. The kids ordered the spaghetti and meatballs and spaghetti with meat sauce. They enjoyed it so much that they wore lots of it on their clothes to the house! My oldest order the shrimp Alfredo pasta. I wish I could tell you it tasted good but when I looked over she was licking the bowl clean and I didn't even get a bite! My wife ordered the pasta rustica with shrimp, scallops and a delicious creamy tomato sauce. I managed to snag a shrimp to try before I lost a finger. I am on a low carb diet. Yes yes I know. Why the heck did I go to a new Italian restaurant? Well I guess I like to torture myself! I ordered a side of meatballs and marinara, with the Italian sausage appetizer. Verona is one of Conways off the beaten path gems. It is a wonderful Italian option with delicious food and wonderful service. I ordered the manicotti and the serving may not look like a large amount but I could only eat 1/4 of my meal. My husband ordered the Lousiana shrimp and it has a very unique flavor kick that I have never experienced before. I cannot believe i did not take a photo of the rolls, but they are too amazing not to mention! This is a great choice for Italian food and we will go back again. read more

I cannot recommend this restaurant. The server was not very friendly and the pasta was very soupy and cold.

Any establishment that doesn't bother ensuring that pick orders are accurately and completely filled gets one star. Because they ruined the meal. If you go here to pick up an order , make sure that you undo the knot in the plastic bag and do what they should have done. Make sure the food that you paid for is in the bag. Would be easier to deal with if the establishment was busy. They had two tables. The food was excellent but the service was questionable. Never came back to check on us. Low lights in the restaurant added to the ambiance but the AC unit was struggling took away. Of course it was hot outside. She did come and bring the ticket but did not ask about my drink. After the food was brought I did not see anyone checking on the customers. Need some retraining. Every visit to Verona's has always been positive. From the bread, soup, entree & dessert. All very tasty and great quality! And if the soup is mushroom soup the day of your visit DO NOT eat any roll because you will lick the bowl clean! It is the most amazing mushroom soup I've ever eaten. read more

The outside doesn't look that impressive. The inside is not as clean as should be. But this could because of the lunch rush. The tomato basil vinaigrette is great on the salad. The chicken Marsala is so good. The chicken was tender and overall a good place to eat Italian food. read more

Stopped in for dinner while traveling through. Sadly, no liquor license, so no wine with our pasta. The salads were a nice portion, but were very watery. I'm not sure why, but it made it taste very bland no matter how much dressing I used. The dinner came out very quickly, no time to finish salad. Garlic bread knots were served with the salad. Fresh but a little chewy. Great flavor. The portion size was huge. The sauces were fantastic. The seafood on our dishes tasted fresh and not over cooked. First i would like to say the food was mediocre, our server was absolutely terrible, and the time it took for our food to come out was crazy. The entire vibes in this establishment were completely off. When we walked in to be seated it took someone forever to come and get us for a table. And once we got a table our server never came for 20 mins to START us with drinks. It took him 20 more minutes to bring us the drinks and another 20 mins for bread. We watched our server help two other tables within 10 mins. When we received our food, it was COLD as if it's been sitting there waiting to be handed out to us. When I picked up order, I was told I could not have ANY parmesan cheese unless I paid extra (even though I paid a pick up fee of $1.75 and added tip. When I got back to hotel room, I found order was incomplete. I called restaurant and Staff and manager on duty completely uncaring and no help. They now have a liquor license! YAAY! We went back for Sunday dinner today for the second time and I was surprised to find it's gotten even better! The decor is new since the last time we were there, and it no longer resembles a fast food joint. It sort of did before - but who cared when the food is so good. If I lived in Conway, I'd eat there at least 2 or 3 times a week. I don't know where this place is getting such wonderful staff. Last time we had a woman server named Brie who was great. Today we had a young man and I believe his name is Cameron? He's one of the best and I wanted to ask where he was trained - because he seems so professional. He was impeccably uniformed and totally helpful. He compares with the best waiters in places where the cheapest entrees are over $50. Friendly, but not hovering or annoying in any way. He has a very extensive knowledge of each dish and explained well. My mom was with us and she has hearing problems, so he squatted down to her level to be sure she could hear him. The music is nice and adds to the ambiance - maybe just a touch too loud - but probably just right when there's a noisy crowd. We were early dinner diners, like always on eat-out Sundays we share with my mother. Our party had shrimp scampi, chicken cacciatore and lasagna. Previously we'd tried chicken parmigiana and the incredibly tasty spaghetti & meatballs- the dish by which any Italian place should be first judged. It was perfect. Today I had the lasagna and it was the best I've had anywhere! All the food was great. And we also had the minestrone. Yummy and homemade, I think. I like Carrabas minestrone maybe a little tiny bit better - but Verona's is almost as good. No complaints at all. Not only has the decor improved tremendously but the bread is better, too. We were served garlic knot-type rolls. Delicious. I wouldn't mind if they'd offer some good crusty Italian bread for dipping in seasoned olive oil. That would be a nice touch for an eatery with Italian food as authentic as this is. This is going to be our go-to place for celebrations. But for everyday good food, too. I'd go back tomorrow if I could. I think this building - which has housed many failed eateries in the past- has lost its curse. This one is a winner! And OH MY, we split a piece of their decadent molten, dark chocolate, cheesecake, mousse cake...It's a 4 or 5 layer cake. Forgot what they call it. Oh! It was incredible. And beautifully presented with the chocolate swirls of a fine chef. Double yum. Conway, you need to keep to keep this great little eatery going like the winner it is! It's easy to get in and out of due to the traffic light on 65 - so no reason not to go. As to the few bad reviews...were they drunk and stumbled into McDonalds and ordered French fries and covered them with ketchup and thought they were at the Italian cafe, or what? We stumbled on the little gem on our trip home. We were about to stop at Cracker Barrel and the wait was too long so we saw this place and boy am I glad we did! The restaurant was so clean and followed COVID guidelines and the atmosphere was as you would expect for a true Italian restaurant, with awesome music. Our waitress was wonderful, attentive, and wore her mask properly. The food was amazing! I had spaghetti topped with Italian sausage and my husband had a dish (don't recall the name) with three different pastas. Both meals were delicious. Our meals came with delicious salads and garlic knotted bread. Oh my, it was so good. I am glad we found this place and we will be back on our next trip through Conway. read more

The rolls were very nice and the house dressing is a tomato vinaigrette that we both enjoyed. Highly recommend this place. The only negative is it doesn't really look much like an Italian restaurant. I asked for a small salad. I was charged for a large. They added three "to-go condiment" charges when I didn't ask for any condiments. They just added in charges as they liked. Maybe if the person taking the order would listen and they didn't nickel & dime the customers, they would have more customers. They had three tables occupied out of the whole dining area. The Caesar's salad was lettuce, store-bought croutons, and basic dressing. I can get a better Caesar's salad at McDonald's, sadly. $25+ for a small Italian sausage appetizer, cheese bread, and a small salad. Building a good reputation requires treating the customers right, consistently. Destroying your reputation makes building back customer trust almost impossible. But how did it taste? The spicy marinara with the Italian sausage was flavorful. However, the cheese bread marinara was just pureed tomatoes and it went downhill from there. Two things were enjoyable from this. The spicy marinara sauce and Della Street on the Perry Mason show I was watching. Otherwise, it was "meh" and I didn't get kissed, if you know what I mean. read more

Customer service was good. Restaurant was clean. Bread was delicious. Prices were standard. Open on Sundays which is nice around here. Salads were good. Main course/ entrees we're ok. The fettuccine lacked flavor and creaminess. I ordered the shrimp Cremona. It was good just a little too heavy on the mushrooms and would've like to see no tails on the shrimp. Also, would've been better with a fettuccine, penne, or linguine noodle, not spaghetti. My wife ordered the tortellini in a pink sauce that was very good. We tried this place solely based on the reviews and I'm here to say they did not disappoint. The place is a bit small and plain, but the service and food is where it's at!!! We ate here on a Friday night and were seated right away. Love not having to wait!!! Our table for some reason looked like it had about 4 or 5 inches cut off the end but we made it work. We started with appetizers, Fried Calamari and some kind of sausage in red sauce plate. All were very good and cooked perfectly. I ordered the Tortellini Alfredo and it was fantastic. Paired with the unlimited bread, I was stuffed and ready for a food coma at the end of it all. 0 room for dessert!!! Our waitress was awesome. You could tell this wasn't her first rodeo. As this was our first time here, she had the answers to all of our questions. We will most definitely be back. Very glad to have a Go-To Italian place here in Conway. read more
