Iced Creama (large)
Kit Yee Y.

Great coffee! Great quality! Great service! Reasonable price. My husband and I knew this coffee shop for a while but never had a chance to try their coffee. Finally we could taste it today. We ordered their hot latte and iced Creama. It was so good!!! We had a first sip of each one of them. We were addicted to them. I give 4 stars, because the coffee shop is quite small. Even if there is no covid, it's hard to sit inside and relax and enjoy a cup of coffee. We have to order takeout and drink the coffee outside. There are many parking stalls in this complex, so don't need to worry about parking. This coffee shop is a bit hidden though. It is on the same level of Mr. Paris Bakery and above Hannam Supermarket. There is another Korean coffee shop right under this one, so there must be competition going on. I hope this coffee shop keeps their good quality and gets more customers to drink their coffee in the future.

The Cloud Coffee

Veroni coffee entrance is very small. It's on the second floor of the Hannam Mart plaza inside the plaza. I had originally come for the Tiger eye coffee but unfortunately they didn't have 3 (out of their Tiger Eye, espressoda and cream) out of the 5 specialty coffees so I had no choice but to try the cloud. The cloud coffee had a strong coffee base. Really liked the flavour of their beans. The cloud on top was a cross between marshmallow and whipping cream. Not too sweet but a bit heavy. The first half of drinking it was nice but afterwards i was left with just cloud. Hopefully next time I'll be able to try the Tiger Eye coffee. Tip: call ahead to make sure they have the ingredients

Tiger Eye Drink

My wife is a big fan of this coffee place up in Burnaby pretty much close to Korea town in Vancity. It's a small business. But they offer good coffee here. The one that we love to get is called Tiger Eye. We always get this drink when we come here. The café itself is a little difficult to find if you've never been here before. And the café is inside a small mall so it doesn't have a store front where you can find it easily. It's hidden inside a small mall. They are open Monday and Tuesday's from 11am to 4pm; Thursdays to Saturdays 11am to 4pm. So their hours aren't that great. Most people I know are working until 5pm so it would be difficult to get a cup after most people are at work or before they get off it. It's too bad. But this is a very small business. And there's only one person working here. So. Take that for what it's worth. Location wise. It's ok. It's not necessarily close to a Skytrain station where it's a close walk. Driving here definitely is preferred. Buses are ok for this area. Service is alright. They do have , after all, just one person working here. So it's expected if the service is a little slower than some other larger businesses that can afford to hire multiple staffing. Is this coffee place worth the trek from Vancouver? It depends. We make the trek out here to Burnaby-Coquitlam from time to time. We wouldn't make the trip out here all the time for the coffee. It's good. It's not golden though. But sometimes when we crave for it. We come and then make some grocery runs around the area. We'd recommend supporting the business. Small businesses need the support of their community especially during these times of covid. So do your community a favour and come to Veroni & Co and get some of their coffee. Spanish lattee

Very cute and quiet. Latte was light and coffee was pretty good! I'm a big fan of really dark rich coffee, this has a lighter taste to it and I still enjoyed it. Great customer service, the staff was very friendly and personable.

Milk tea latte served in a to go cup

Loved my experience here, but I fear that this place will not last very long due to its location and limited hours. The cafe is a bit hidden; unlike most stores in this plaza that have main entrances that lead directly outdoors, you have to enter through a door that's behind a staircase and go inside a little hallway/atrium area to get to the cafe. It's a one-employee operation, but he definitely took his time making my milk tea latte carefully and expertly. It was delicious; not too sweet, not too foamy. They have a relatively small menu, probably to achieve the high-quality standards they set for themselves. You pay in one room, and then immediately next door is another small room with tables and chairs for you to enjoy your drink. There's also a large community bench/table in the atrium area I first mentioned where you can sit and stay. If they opened earlier or closed later, I would definitely stop by here more, but my work prevents me from that.

Very cute micro coffee roaster. May be a bit hard to find in the plaza but it's in the corner.

Excellent mocha, especially if you add an extra shot of espresso!

We selected two different items to share: a chocolate cake and the other was earl grey. I loved how they were not overly sweet. The earl grey one had grapefruit inside, which unfortunately my friend cannot eat so he was a little disappointed that I got to have more of this one. Lucky for me, I don't have that problem! The piece of grapefruit on top should have been a clue, but he didn't notice it when we were ordering. haha I did find the combination a bit unusual but I enjoyed it nonetheless as I love both grapefruit and earl grey tea! Service appears to be restricted to counter service, so you order at the counter and take your food and drinks to a table. It was really busy in the cafe but we managed to snag the last open table. Because it was so crowded, it was a little difficult to carry on a normal conversation. Not deafening, just quite lively. The coffee was good - but word of advice, make sure you let them know if you want to add milk or cream as they do fill your cup to the brim! I would probably return to try some of their other desserts because I find most places a bit too sweet for me. Definitely recommend this spot.

I HAD to return! I've been craving another one of their mocha lattes!…read more I just had to see if the craft was consistent visit to visit. Yes, I'm glad to report! I returned and ordered the same drink mocha latte with soy and it was just as delicious as my first visit-not a first time fluke! I brought my mother and ordered a gluten free muffin this time. I like the muffin more than the gluten free loaf slice on my previous visit. Both baristas were super friendly to all the patrons who came and went during our stay. Tip: If you choose to dine in, your beverages and food will be served on dish wear accompanied with metal cutlery in place of paper cups and plates. It's a nice touch that upgrades your visit to a cafe instead of a grab and go spot.

The heat was probably keeping people away during the hottest time of the day. I had a matcha latte. It was ok. Not too sweet and pretty foamy. The place was quite cozy with books lining the shelves and the bench covered with throws which made it looked inviting. But I'm a bit leery of sitting on that as sometimes I wonder how often those throws are washed. I rather sit in regular chairs where it can be wiped down easily to clean if needed. The food looked good but we didn't try any as we already ate. Maybe next time if I'm in the area.
