As a business owner and installer in this business for over 24 years , I understand that their are customers whom do not take responsibility for things that we advise them to.do. For instance I told a customer to allow his floor to dry for 25 hrs. and to give it thumb test before he walks on it , and yet in 15 hrs. He called telling us his feet are sticking to the floor. But with this company I have had secretarys purposely sending my orders to wrong addresses and being we have been a loyal customer and have spent over 500,000.00 in material over the last 10 years , we would expect this company to help us with the 26 failures that we have had in the last 2 years. Mike who owns the company has a strict set of rules.... Just keep taking the customers money. Out of all these failures and and the amount of money we spent , not one failure was covered by versatile building products. I called Versatile's customer service, extension 4, as usual to get some advice. It was around 3:55 pm when I made the call, and I was thrilled to hear Alex answer. I couldn't help but scream with joy. I have a lot of respect for Alex. For the past five years, he has been an invaluable collaborator for me and Epoxy Foxy Inc. Without his support, I might have turned away several customers, missed opportunities, and lost revenue. During this call, Alex guided me through two potential projects, providing his usual exceptional advice. His level of service is a hallmark of Versatile. I don't usually make reviews but thought these guys and gals deserve one. I install garage floor coatings for a living and recently switched to these guys. The customer service is second to none, everyone greats me with a smile and if I place my order online at their site at night it is usually pulled and ready to be picked up when I get there in the morning. If I have a technical question I can get an answer quickly because they have a staff that is very knowledgeable and I get transfered to a technical person if it is a complicated question. The best thing about this company is the epoxy product, it sticks to the floor like crazy. So good that I have to be super careful to not letting it drip on the driveway otherwise I will have to chip the concrete out to remove it (Ya that happened once and it sucked). I have had no failures since switching to it so it is way better than the last company I used plus they have it all in stock. I started with Versatile back when they were still in Carson, CA nearly 10 years ago and I've never left. We started our small company and wanted to start doing concrete floors almost immediately, but I did not want to spend our resources "fixing problems." So I contacted Versatile to ask for a top notch trainer who we flew up here to train us for a few days. He railed about the virtues of the Versatile products. That was about 700 floors ago. Excellent products with outstanding training and customer service. As an epoxy garage flooring contractor, we have been using Versatile Building Products as our go to epoxy for going on 2 years. When we first started installing epoxy about two years ago we had already tried a few different company's product but with out much success.
