My daughter has taken jazz, contemporary, and Horton classes, but her favorite is classical ballet. In addition to class, my daughter has been able to participate in fashion shows for Lord & Taylor, a dance competition and annual trips to see the Alvin Ailey Dance Company perform at the Kennedy Center. The end of year recital is a very professional production at the Bowie Performing Arts Center, with beautiful costumes and moving music. In addition, parents are friendly and committed. It is well worth the time and money to send your daughter to PBPAC!

The class lengths are longer than what I've seen at the other studio we go to which I like because you seem to get more for your money. We look forward to many years at this dance studio to come!

You can't watch your daughter's practices, you can't take pictures, you can't have a life that exists outside of your own little ballet world. You can't see your daughter perform without buying a ticket so you can get even more cash. Get a grip! "Charlotte's Web" (if you can call it that) was the last straw! Of all the time, effort and money spent for just that one show, my daughter was only on stage 15 seconds out of the 3 hours. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I cannot fathom why you would do that to her. I gave up (almost) an entire weekend and spent $80 for tickets for my daughter and she, my family and I only got 15 seconds on stage total. Unbelievable! The only reason why you aren't getting a single star is because of the way my daughter is excited to go to class. At least you're doing ONE thing right. Parents: Be prepared to be "nickel-and-dimed" at every possible turn. And if your daughter gets invited to be in a special "show", be sure to ask how much stage time she gets before you say yes. She went into the studio with the other kids and was super excited but then suddenly, other girls started to cry for their parents and that made my little one started to cry too. I asked the teacher if I could sit inside so she would feel safer and the teacher Sandra said no. Then I asked the reception desk if another class was available so I could try if the instructor allowed me inside and they asked around and they all said no because the other kids would be distracted. I mean, I get it this shouldn't be the norm and parents should watch from outside but for someone doing the first class ever, maybe be a little bit more flexible wouldn't hurt. So they are not having me as a client and we are going somewhere else who can be more flexible with small kids who are just starting.
