Date: Sunday, July 6th, 2025 Time: around 5:30pm Party of: 4 *Ketel One - Martini Bump ($21) *Paloma: Double Call ($28) *Macallan 12: Neat Bump ($30) *Most Cert Wood ($21) The hubby and I were staying at Cosmo for the 2nd half of out Vegas trip. Since we were waiting for a friend to check in next door and head over, we decided to grab a drink at Vesper. It's an easy spot to drink and spot people walking in and out of the hotel. I got the paloma. Glad I added an extra shot as it would have been a lil weak for me otherwise. I'm not into sweet drinks and I like tasting the liquor. The hubs got the straight pour. It was pricey for a 12, but a decent pour at that rate. There are many bars to choose from at Cosmo. Vesper is convenient if trying to meet people up. REVIEW #3806

We checked out this bar before we headed out for the evening. The drinks were just okay. We tried the "rare" bourbon flight and we had had all the bourbons before. Our server was cool, but her manager seemed like he was micro managing everyone.
A nice get away while gambling or waiting for your restaurant reservation. The seating is open and plentiful. The service is attentive and there are many vantage points to either be intimate or sit on the outside and people watch. The drinks were very good! All the cocktails on the menu are a revamp of something traditional but don't let that scare you. My drink was a mezcal but it was blue. Also my wife didn't like anything on the menu, however she asked for a fresh mojito and all the fruit they had was strawberry. It was very good!
The Vesper Bar is quiet and a perfect spot to sit with a strong cocktail in hand at the Cosmopolitan. It's trendy but vintage-y with mirrors and swanky furniture. I was in town on a Monday opted for the namesake, Vesper for my nightcap. It was delish and gave me all of the James Bond vibes. Pricing is pretty standard. The menu has some interesting cocktails on it. We didn't have a server come to us but the bartender was very responsive. The Vesper is a great quieter option!
Nice atmosphere, attentive service, good drink selection. I got the Vesper, Vesper martini which is the bar's namesake & made exactly as James Bond's order except stirred, not shaken as a martini should be. Generous grapefruit rind garnish, definitely boozey, I think I prefer a standard gin martini better, but def a must have if you want to try something different or if you're feeling like James Bond that evening. Wife had the Mint Julep. It included cognac & bourbon & was very stiff, but surprisingly didn't taste of strong alcohol... the sign of a good drink. My wife was riding high the rest of the night. Good lobby bar for stiff drinks. Would def return.
This is my friend's favorite bar in Vegas, so we decided to stop by late Saturday night. I appreciate that it's one of the few places we visited that stays open past 2 AM--definitely a plus! Unfortunately, I wasn't a fan of the cocktails. I tried their martini and a custom cocktail made by the bartender, but neither hit the mark. I did enjoy a glass of champagne, which was just okay. While I would definitely return for the nice ambiance, I think I'll stick to hard seltzer or champagne next time.
Fun hip bar near the lobby area of the Cosmopolitan Las Vegas that is named after the famous cocktail from the James Bond novel "Casino Royale." The bar area is a pretty cool and is surrounded by mirrored tiles and dripping chandeliers. Seating is spread out with a wait staff that will take your order if you don't order from the bar. There is a lot of foot traffic nearby because this is the first bar that you will encounter after checking into the hotel. Basically if you want to be seen, this is the place to go. The Vesper drink menu is a mix of classic cocktails and reimagined ones along with beer and wine. Even though I am a big James Bond fan, I did not order a martini "shaken, not stirred". But I did enjoy my La Paloma drink and had a fun time hanging out here.
Definitely our favorite bar at the Cosmo. It's mellow but lively just enough to not be boring. Great for the gen-x and elder millennial demographic as well as a people watching spot. The bartenders are friendly and if you don't know what to order, tell them your favorite flavor profile and they will make you something good. Highly recommend.
I think I've had the best Negroni at Vesper! It's strong and yet sweet and smooth to the palate. It goes down smoothly to the throat leaving you feeling refreshed and relaxed. I highly recommend it as well as their other cocktail called Most Certainly Wood. I've had most of their cocktails and they're all 5/5. They also serve wines and beers. Crystal was so nice and even though it was a very busy Sunday afternoon for them, she looked cheerful and was very polite. Thank you for the excellent service! The ambiance is usually lounge like - relaxed and comfortable. Their sofas and chairs are comfortable to rest at after a long day at work or hours of walking up and down the strip. It's dimly lit and they have interesting photos on the walls to look at. It looks posh and feels like it as well. A definite must visit bar if you're at the strip.
As I age, I find myself annoyed at loud music and even more annoyed with bad cocktails. Cosmopolitan is home to the multi-story Chandelier bar which is stunning, but quite often packed. And when I want a drink, I don't want to deal with waiting around to nab a seat. Vesper Bar was the ticket. Essentially their lobby bar, but much nicer, it had an extensive (and interesting) cocktail menu. Staff wasn't prompt with drinks. The crowd can definitely get interesting as the night wears on, especially if you're sitting at the bar. But the people watching makes up for it. Vesper Bar is for people who want a good drink and keep their ear drums intact.
James Bond theme was amazing! The drinks were absolutely strong, which I LOVE. The bartender was friendly and chatting it up with the Vegas crowd, which is great.

Went in on a whim, the decor and vibe were amazing. Ordered an amaretto sour and my bestie had a 'violet femme' from the secret menu. HIGHLY SUGGESTED!! The whole staff was friendly, especially KC, the bartender- Personable, professional, and super cute. Drinks, ambience, staff were outstanding. Well done Cosmo! read more
My friend and I were barhopping around the Strip and somehow ended up at Vesper Bar. There was no wait and the guests were socially distanced with spaced out tables. I felt safe because masks were required to be worn at all times. Nothing on the Vesper Bar's specialty cocktail section screamed out, so we opted for Moscow Mules instead. Our server was not particularly loving life that night, but I guess she still did her job. Our drinks tasted just like ginger soda - Super carbonated and not enough alcohol. For the price I paid, I wanted something more memorable. In hindsight, I should've tried the specialty cocktail. Despite the hiccups with drinks, I still liked the overall bar. It was chill and comfy, and definitely at a great spot in the Cosmo to people watch. read more

A nice bar stop before entering into the casino area of Cosmo hotel! I had a refreshing Moscow Mule and they offer other refine cocktail drinks! It's quite a charming and relaxing atmosphere for a bar that's located in between the lobby and casino space! read more
We decided to have a drink while waiting for our room and I couldn't be happier (having found this bar!). Rosa , the hostess , was so welcoming and kind . You must check in with her before getting seated . Vesper is very respectful of social distancing with plenty of hand sanitizer and spaced apart seating . Kimberlie , our server , gosh - what a wonderful girl . Her charm and hospitality blew us away . Our drinks were equally amazing (Bloody Mary and Tito/soda). So grateful for Rosa and kimberlie - thank you for making the start of this trip memorable :) read more

Classic cocktail bar at it's best in Las Vegas. We came here just to enjoy their signature cocktail and we loved it. The drink menu is set up with classic and re-imagined cocktails. I was impressed with the Aviation on the menu and also enjoyed one while visiting. The bartender who served us was friendly & engaging and made us feel welcome the entire time. Go here for the Vesper, or ask and they can make your favorite cocktail. read more

I know the Chandelier Bar is the popular bar in the Cosmo but the Vesper Bar is far superior. It is beautiful, classy, and comfortable. I feel like it is better in every way. There is bar seating as well as tables and couches. I love the old school vibe and the amazing drink selections. The coolest part of the menu is the pairing they do. They have classic cocktails and re-imagined versions of those same classics. You can order small versions of the pairs and compare the classics to the new versions. Good spot if you sit close to the bar/away from the walkway. Nice service. Two notes, they charge for the ice in your whiskey drink ($3) and they don't offer the pairing listed at the bottom of the menu (sad). The Spirit of St. Louis was pretty good, kinda tart. read more
Extremely chill architectural bar in the Chelsea Tower lobby at Cosmopolitan. I had the Gilded Age - a lemony Mezcal and Tequila drink that was pretty nice . My friend had the Champ Elysees a drink from 1930 with Remy Martin and chartreuse and lemon. Both were good though not too strong. It was refreshing and the bartenders are nice and there's lots of little corners to get comfortable in. I'd go back. Could be a hangout spot . read more

This is a very beautiful bar next to the hotel check-in I wasn't planning on getting a drink here but it was very aesthetically pleasing and the staff was very kind. It did take a little while to get our check but aside from that everything was amazing. Right On the casino floor but you really felt you were in your own area and not too loud. read more

First time here years ago was one of my best mixology experiences ever. Read John H's review. That review nailed it. This trip, the drink was pretty good. The bar was set pretty high too. Ordered off the menu and enjoyed it. Had a "Spirit of St.Louis". Great drink. Definitely different! Stopped at one drink. Last time I had a second drink here it wasn't as good as the first. Shiny silver lining is what drew me to this bar at the beautiful Cosmopolitan Hotel. The feeing that a silver lining is just around the corner and a few drinks away! The decor and atmosphere of this bar is breathtaking and moving. The outside of the bar is fantastically shiny and then you step into the bar where you are moved again. The ceiling is done up with tiers of chandeliers that make one think they are in another realm. The columns are done in mother of pearl which is so powerful that it sets the mood to love and joy throughout the bar. If you are seeking that place to chill and have fabulous drinks then look now further then Vespar! It's ideal for getting away and chilling. The tone and mood of the bar are intoxicating. It will pull any negative feeling that you might have right out of you. Unbelievably the most funtastic time I have had drinking cocktails on the strip. I wandered in this bar by accident looking for a place to eat while partying on the strip in the wee hours of the morn. I should of been in bed but hell its Vegas, let the good times roll! Right! I sat across from a small table in an extremely comfortable chair . The waitress came around and took my drink order and even promptly returned with the drink in a flash. The waitress had the best attitude and for 1 am she was a peach! I sat there for at least an hour when the waitress came around again I ordered a whiskey sour, she nodded and returned with my drink. This drink was strong and made with top shelf liquor. The quality of this drink was top notch. The bar staff is very talented and outgoing. I could see the bar and patrons from my seat in the bar. I always find it amazing the pouring skills of bartenders. I enjoy watching them make and pour drinks. It is a real art to know how to make great cocktails! The bartenders here are very experienced and effective in the libations department! As I sit here and enjoy my drink I can not help but be sucked into the beautiful surroundings that they created for the patrons of the bar. Vespar is tucked away from the regular traffic of the Cosmo. One has to explore more of the hotel to find this little slice of paradise. The music is so tranquil and keeps the beat of the bar going. Do you need a place to chill and get away? The Vespar Bar awaits you. The staff is fantastically friendly. The drinks are amazing and mixed so well. They only use top quality liquor. The music and atmosphere of the bar make drinking there more glorious. Come and try one of there specialty drinks. I hear good things about the El Diablo drink. I stayed with Whiskey Sours since I was already drunk when I entered the bar. Now time for bed for me! For you, Vespar awaits thee! read more

Vesper Bar is located next to the front desk at the Cosmopolitan. Very chill & relaxed vibe where the music isn't too loud. Our bartender Lex was the BEST! He made me a custom drink because I don't like sweet cocktails & his concoction was AMAZING! Muddled with fresh cucumbers, mint, and ginger with this Aloe liqueur in the picture and I think vodka, it was refreshing, delicious, and dare I say "healthy" due to the ginger! :) Unfortunately, they were out of a lot of the bourbons. Nice bar that is located just off the lobby in the Cosmo. No reservation needed so it's first come, first serve. Good amount of seating and the waitresses are friendly and handle the volume of patrons well. The cocktails are quality and what you'd expect from the Cosmo, where everything is high end and sparkly. If you're looking to take a break from walking the Strip or waiting in line to check in, this is a great place to sit and grab a drink read more

A fun bar to grab a drink in the middle of the casino floor of the Cosmopolitan. An elegant bar with a variety of types of seating. My friend and I stopped in for drinks before dinner and had our choice of seating. We went with a large booth that was very comfortable. A waitress was by soon after we sat down to greet us. The waitress was attentive and friendly. Menus were already at the table so we were able to start making our selections. The craft cocktail menu was unique. Both of the drinks I enjoyed at Vesper Bar were very good. My first, the Penicillin was pleasantly strong. The ginger and honey were perfect with the Scotch. My favorite drink of the night was recommended by the waitress, the El Diablo. The drink wasn't too sweet, but was very easy to drink. read more

Do you need a place with good drinks, easy access, amazing vibes, and impeccable service? Then Vesper Bar is your place. Even before moving to Vegas, I always found myself ending the night at this bar to talk, people watch, and of course drink. Their cocktail menu was recently reimagined and includes classic cocktails (think VESPER bar) and modern twists on those classics. If you get a bartender who can make it, ask for the Mark Twain. It's smoky rosemary flavors are unmatched in the city! read more

Vesper bar is a cute pretty chill bar sitting right next to the Cosmopolitan front desk. I've been here a couple of times and have had a few of the specialty cocktails. They were pretty on point. Quite tasty and balanced. The service is pretty good. The bartenders are friendly but not too friendly and I really appreciate that. When I'm alone at a bar playing on my phone I want to be left alone. Lol. Obviously the cocktails are quite expensive but this is Vegas so I wouldn't expect any less. read more

I'd gotten the impression that this was more of your traditional overpriced boring cocktail bar, more like every bar in every casino in Vegas that isn't Cosmopolitan, but after trying all the other bars, I figured I'd check out the list here too, and I couldn't have been more wrong - their first page is basically classic cocktails you can get anywhere, and therefore, should totally not be paying 20 bucks for (after tax and tip), but the *second* page is full of cocktails just as novel as everywhere else at Cosmopolitan - I really wanted to try everything on that second page (coco-chai syrup and Islay sesame oil? Aged cachaca and a "choose your own adventure pipette of bitters"? Chai masala tea and firewater topped with horchata cream? Sign me up, please!) I had to space things out, though, because I'd already tried a few drinks elsewhere, and was planning on trying a few others in other elsewheres (basically, if you hadn't figured it out yet, Cosmopolitan is like Disneyland for craft cocktail aficionados), so I only tried one: the Catalina Wine Mixer, a "celebration of all things grape", made with cognac, a chardonnay reduction, topped with champagne-flavored foam and a prosecco-flavored gummy bear. Ok, so I kinda wish I'd gotten something else - it was fun, but didn't turn out to taste quite as exotic as some of those other ones I mentioned probably would've been - but it was quite tasty, very well balanced, and pretty cute. Service was excellent, and because it was in the back of Cosmopolitan, it felt a lot more chill, too. edit: I was back a couple months ago and tried one more of their drinks, the "Wabi-sabi", which was freaking fantastic, definitely a much stronger choice than the first one I tried. You can taste all the ingredients (whiskey, honey, citrus, spices, sesame oil), but they meld together into something crazy and wonderful - and it came with a bowl of super wasabi-y wasabi peanuts that also paired wonderfully with the drink, so that was a great unexpected bonus. read more

This bar is to the right of the front desk check in and right next to the gift shop, restrooms and casino so it gets four stars just for being in the perfect place. I've not really ever sat there and tried there drinks but I have a couple of times it was great ambiance read more
