If you're looking for a flooring company, stop looking, you've found them…read more Luminous Flooring exceeded every expectation I had for my kitchen remodel. From the first conversation to the final walk-through, every member of their team was friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely enjoyable to work with. They made what could have been a stressful project feel easy, and they always showed up with a positive attitude (and a good sense of humor). I'm glad I made a decision to go to the Caseyville Home Show and met these folks. We ran into a few challenges along the way (this is an almost 100 year old house with original floors). They worked with me every step of the way to find solutions and make sure everything turned out right. That level of customer service is hard to find these days. The craftsmanship is outstanding. The attention to detail is obvious, and the finished floors look absolutely incredible, and the price was very reasonable. I couldn't be happier with the final result. It's also refreshing to support a family-owned business that clearly takes pride in its work and treats customers like people, not just another job. I recommend Luminous Flooring without hesitation. If you're comparing flooring companies, you can stop now -- these are your people.

The newly refinished area blends seamlessly with our existing flooring -- you would never know where the old ends and the new begins. Their craftsmanship is truly exceptional. While the entire company has been wonderful to work with, I want to especially recognize Jesse and Ray, the two technicians who completed our project. These two went above and beyond from start to finish. They took the time to explain every step of the process, answered all of our questions with patience and clarity, and treated our home with genuine care. Their professionalism, friendliness, and attention to detail made the experience outstanding. Jesse and Ray are true assets to Luminous Flooring, and because of them, we will gladly recommend this company to anyone looking for quality flooring work. Five stars all the way.

I used the Yelp project assistant feature and after a short while, I received contact from Ron, via the Key Carpet Yelp business page. Ron quickly filled me in regarding his 45 years experience in carpeting repair and then reviewed some photos I sent him to get a better picture of my situation. Ron quoted me $400 for the job, using the extra carpeting material I had on hand and offered to come the very next day, Friday mid morning. Ron gave me several assurances he'd handle whatever situation was present and not to give it any more worry. I appreciated his confidence and stated flexibility regarding the job conditions and his intention to just get it done. Ron is old school and not a Prima-donna. On a prompt arrival, Ron and his helper Brayson moved our kids bed out of the way, tore out the old carpeting, filthy tack strips, and treated the area with an odor neutralizer before jumping into the installation. The whole job took almost exactly 3 hours from arrival to departure. Ron & Brayson were true beasts in knocking out the job! I'm currently unclear whether this was a referral from Key Carpet to Lenderman Flooring, or Key Carpet employees themselves... but I'm a satisfied customer either way.

While the company was easy to communicate with prior to the work being done we had a huge hiccup during the actual work. While planning to sell our home we were also in the process of moving 4,500 miles away. We had multiple businesses coming to our home on certain days to do their specific jobs (cleaning, staging, photographing, open house etc). I was told several times exactly how long the installation of the carpeting should take and based all other appointments on what I had been told. While on a trip I received a call telling me the installation would take another few days, which was simply unacceptable. Thankfully, Key Carpet was able to pull employees from another job to finish ours on time. This whole process caused an extreme amount of stress and headaches. While we were happy with how the new carpeting looked, it was definitely not the smoothest process.

#BUYERBEWARE #BADBusiness…read more WARNING I rarely give a ONE star but if there was an option to give a ZERO star I would! As a Consumer that loves to support local and/or small businesses I wish I had patronized a Big Box Store for this small project and accepted a quote that would have been twice as much, but at least I would have been able to open and close the Front door and have closet doors that were actually able to open and close after the flooring job was complete!! They do not agree that after a flooring job has been complete that a customer should Assume that their doors, including the FRONT door will open and close! This is one of those situations where one person (let's call him Terry) knows that his employee (Humm let's call him Jeff) did not write a Bid correctly and then outsourced the Labor to a company that is not equipped to do the job!! Don't let the "SALE" price persuade you because they do not include or expect for a job to be complete. Terry actually said "well it doesn't say the doors will open" WTF! Terry originally verbally agreed that Jeff should have known that the new carpet would need a different installer! I didn't hire the outscourced company! I hired this sorry excuse of a flooring company! #SMALLCLAIMSCOURT #HORRIBLE

I first visited and selected my tiles for a bathroom 4 months ago. My project was delayed so I didn't make the purchase until August 5. Bobbie was terrific. Great ideas, patient, fun to work with. Great selection at many price points. As much as I prefer to 'shop local', I'm this case it just couldn't work out. I recommend Floor & Decor. Also, when just browsing the salespeople are not breathing down your neck. Now the pickup... As for the pickup process, I'm quite dissatisfied at the moment. I am holding off on an individual review for the pickup until I cool down. At the moment it's 0 stars. I am currently in the parking lot. I understand being short-staffed. However, common courtesy is lacking here in a big way. In my opinion this is a combination of passive customer service from the employee and downright rudeness by another customer. I walked into the pickup area and there was no one there to help. I waited a several minutes and then went to the cashier. They said it might be a bit but they would try to find someone. Not a big deal, I can wait. When someone came to help me he looked at my receipt and ID and told me to pull into one of the pickup bays. There was another customer (male) behind me waiting. Note: I was there first. The other customer and someone else with him were already pulled into the pickup bays. Common courtesy might have been to volunteer to move a vehicle and wait their turn. At the very least the employee should have asked them to move one vehicle. He did not even ask. It was not my responsibility or my place to ask them to move. Management implied this happens frequently and most of the time the customers already in the bay will not move. They loaded the other customer first which took an estimated 15-20 min. It was long enough for me to go to the sales floor and speak with the designer I worked with to tell them what was happening and write most of this review. Tiles were loaded in my car. My suggestion is to maybe place cones or something in front of the bays until the customer is instructed to pull in. I know it's a hassle but I'm pretty miffed that this pickup took almost as long as picking out the tile simply because a customer wouldn't wait their turn and the employee didn't even ask them to move!
