I had a horrible experience with this company. Brian came to inspect my home for a buyer. We were not allowed to be in the home during the inspection due to covid concerns upon return home after the inspection I found like Brandon S. another reviewer, that while Brian was here he did not clean up after himself and caused problems in my home that weren't there before. Here are just a couple of the issues we had with Brian... Insulation from the attic was left on the floor in the bathroom, an outlet receptacle was pulled away from the wall, the window counterbalance that was reported as operating improperly was completely pulled out of its place in the window rendering the window inoperable. Fortunately we were able to correct these and other issues on our own. read more

Brian from veteran inspection professionals is very far from professional. In fact Brian is very unprofessional. I'll let you be the judge. if an inspector comes into your home and causes damage at your home and takes pictures of the damage and puts it in his report and says that your home has a flaw of the damage he's caused would you call that unprofessional? Brian caused the leak on my reverse osmosis system in my home. Then had the audacity to tell me that it was not his fault and that it was a bad installation to begin with. I've never had an issue nor leak on that reverse osmosis system in the nine years that I've lived here but I had a leak within a half hour to an hour of Brian being in my home. Furthermore Brian wasn't even going to tell me about the leak he was going to just move on and begin his weekend. I had to have my water shut off no one could shower nor use the restroom we could not cook throughout the weekend if I had not raised an issue with Brian on it personally by calling him on his cell phone. We have small children and I as all of you know that have small children water is a necessity for bathing, cleaning, cooking etc. Once Brian realized he was completely liable he immediately sent out a plumber within the hour to come look at my home and the leak that he caused. This is the type of inspector that you don't want anywhere near your home. All realtors and people in the market for buying and selling a home stay away from veterans inspection professionals as they're are far from professional. read more

I couldn't be more pleased about how detailed VIP was during the inspection of an old home that was flipped. The contractors did a nice job opening up the home and eliminating walls, completely modernizing / renovating the home. However, Mark of VIP entered and found a whole electrical system that needed to be completely revamped (approx $6,000), a new roof that needed a lot of extra repairs (approx $500), a pool pump that needed replacement, along with a dozen other items that were in need of fixing. Even though the home looked stellar, VIP ensured that the buyer was aware of the items that the contractors overlooked during their flip - couldn't be happier! read more

This company has a lot of nerve charging full price for an inspection that does not include checking to see if the heater is working. You need to know BEFORE you buy your house if your heater is working, or else they have no business charging you full price to inspect your new house and expect you to pay their full prices without ever having any idea if your heater works. Also, NO mask during Covid, why not? Are you that rude and arrogant? The inspector Barry has a problem with the volume of his voice. I do not have a hearing problem, but he spoke as if I could not hear him he was so loud. He had no clue of himself being obnoxiously much too loud, speaking that loudly the entire time. Leaving sparkling cider for you is one of their trademarks, but it was offensive to me, since I have no idea if the heater works, what did you think I wanted with your bottle of sparkling cider or the champagne flutes you left. There is where you offended me. Your company is not customer friendly, you are money motivated, and I would never hire or recommend you in the future. I didn't even buy that house. I was appalled to drive up and see the brochures on the pavement advertising in the community, HOW TACKY. The inspector did not leave me with a good impression of your company's competence, nor are your excuses for charging full price for incomplete inspections valid. Blaming hot weather for routine inspection items should remind you to lower your prices- before lawyers come after you for omitted legal disclaimers. Your company is a huge sham. I was quite unimpressed with you, especially for the money you charge. NOT WORTH YOUR TIME OR YOUR MONEY. Don't hire them. I told my realtors not to use this company anymore because they aren't worth it. read more
