There is not a living person outside of this office that cares more about their animals than this staff. Aside from the receptionists, techs, doctors, facilities being amazing the love radiates through the practice. Not only did they provide prime care to my heeler a couple weeks ago after she ate something she was not supposed to and followed up with such love and affection and care but I just had an incredible experience of life or death where they gave my Maine coon LIFE Dr. Kia saved my cat's life. Without his support and recommendations for necessary tests and X-rays plus and ultrasound AND fluids every other day, she would not have made it. Juniper barely ate. She ate less and less for a month--in my denial and ignorance I blamed it on the heat. I was encouraged to bring her in. He looked at her--and her weight loss too--and instantly knew something wasn't right. So he asked if I would be okay with some tests and an x-ray. Of course I said yes. Her bloodwork, x-ray, and urinalysis were concerning and baffling. So he called and explained all the possibilities and the urgency and let me know how dehydrated she was. He sent her with fluids to give her every other day. After her ultrasound yesterday it was confirmed how important it was to operate. He suggested a variety of options and explained in clear terms what was wrong. This morning I was able to get her seen at a surgery center and get her the life saving surgery. Dr. Kia may not have been the one to open her up and operate, but the surgery center on pickup this afternoon confirmed--without me even asking--that without those fluids she wouldn't have made it the last week and the blood tests looked better than when VMC did them last week BECAUSE of the fluids. DR. KIA AND THIS FACILITY SAVED MY CAT'S LIFE AND ASKED FOR NO CREDIT FOR IT BECAUSE THEY DID NOT OPERATE. I have never in my life experienced such a humble place. I am in tears. I will take this gratitude overflowing in me and carry it my whole life. Additionally, just to add, they followed up this whole time for updates. Any negative reviews here are just wrong and vicious and ignorant. Take my words for it. These people care. They love your pets. They don't upcharge. And they save your pet's lives. It's thanks to Dr. Kia and the team Juniper is alive.

The only place I will ever take my Maxi. Rina and Dr.Debbie are AMAZING. Rina is one of the kindest most helpful people I've met. Only take your pet family here and have Rina or Dr. Debbie help.

Dr. Steve is hands down the most caring and knowledgeable Vet I've had for my 8-year-old cat Puff. I highly recommend him if your pet is nervous or anxious outside of the home. He helped assure my cat was at ease the entire physical exam. We had lab work done as well and I noticed some numbers of concern on the report. I called VCM during the day and asked if I could get more information regarding the report. Dr. Steve then contacted me after hours to insure I had full clarity of the report right away. That is excellence and shows his true care for my sweet boy! Veterinary Medical Center is a place I share with all of my friends now. Puff and I are grateful to have such a professional and attentive Vet! A+++

It took me a bit to write this review, but I used to take our sweet dog Moses to this VMC. We used to see Dr. David who genuinely cared about our gentle Pitty mix. We always felt that Moses was in good hands with Dr. David, and I think it's why he lived a happy 14 1/2 years. When the time came and we had to put Moe to sleep, doctor David left me the most thoughtful voicemail expressing his condolences. At the time I was too heartbroken to call him back, but I will be forever grateful to him and the team here for being so good to our furry family member. Whenever we decide to get another dog, this will definitely be the place that I plan to take them to. Thank you for everything Dr. David & VMC, my husband and I will be forever grateful for you all!

My pup and I trust Dr Steve! Our first visit to this establishment and Dr Steve was March 2021. I noticed my pup had a wet and slightly scabby patch on his skin around the waist. I called and got an appointment about 2-3 days later. I was skeptical about my dog being seen by a doctor who I wouldn't get to meet that day due to COVID restrictions... After pup got checked in (I handed him off to a vet tech outside the front of the building), I got a call from Dr Steve while I was waiting in the back parking lot. He carefully talked me through his examination and what the treatment would be. I asked him to check on a couple of things while we were on the phone and he happily did so. He did not prescribe anything unnecessary nor recommend any unnecessary procedures. Second visit was this morning for a teeth/mouth check. This time no Covid restrictions. I finally got to go inside and meet people! Yay! All 3 ladies I met at the front desk were delightful to me and my pup. I observed the staff's interactions with 4 other people and everyone seeemed happy, too. I gathered from eavesdropping that 2 had been coming there for a while, and 2 were new. The lobby is very spacious and very clean. They have a nice little coffee/latte/cappuccino machine that is also kept clean and actually works!! I got a little vanilla latte and did not get sick from it, yay! :) (You know you immediately go to the bathroom when you use those latte/cappuccino machines at other spots, like at a car dealership, truck stop, etc.) The lobby and exam room I went to don't have a funky smell. In comparison, the other 2 vet offices in the valley I had been to from 2016-2020 always, always smelled like one or more of: wet doggies, dog pee, staleness, bleach, Pinesol, or Fabuloso. I got no whiff of any of that in here. Thought it is worth mentioning for folks with sensitive noses...just a little bonus for the whole experience, you know? Dr Steve's FRIENDLY, CARING, and PROFESSIONAL demeanor made me so happy today and the previous visit in March 2021. He is EXPERIENCED and brings calm yet lively ENERGY into the room. He provides EXCELLENT CARE and demonstrates GENUINE LOVE for his patients, our beloved animals! Oh, and the sweet nurse or tech who gave my pup's pedicure today is amazing! Typically after a visit at the groomers, my pup HATES having his paws touched for 1-3 days....I think it's because he would get hurt during the nail trimming. Not the case here! They didn't need to put any of the white powder stuff to stop bleeding. When we got home, my pup quickly and happily gave me his paws for his routine wipe down! Blown away by that! Huge shoutout! If you're looking for a vet with the cheapest service fees possible, this place is not it. I think this place charges maybe $10-$20 more for services, compared to smaller vet office. You know those ones I'm talking about that are typically in a rundown plaza that has 1 decent doctor, a rude vet tech, fading posters from the 80s, smells of pee, still only keeps paper records, has one Compaq computer, horrid parking, and will approve your 1-800-PETMEDS medication one week later. On the other hand, if you're looking for top care at a great facility for your beloved pet, this place could be it for you. It is for me and my pup! I'll update my review after my pup's tooth extraction in February!

Kind of an old dog, but looks good for her age. I agreed and she had an appointment this morning at 9:15am. This is a family owned business. I believe they are 2 cousins and running the business with lots of love, experience and expertise. They do variety of grooming, have doggie day care (if you need to be away for few days), do training for your dog and cat, offer dental cleaning, cut their fingernails on their paws, without hurting them. Give a nice bath, the shampoo that they use, I wouldn't mind using it on my hair:-) Not joking. Smelled so good. They even give treats to your pet. Sell few items of snacks/food. When her dog came out, she was unrecognizable. She looked so cute, smelled good, and looked clean. When Simba saw her mom, jumped straight into her arms and they both hugged each other so tight. The entire process took about an hour and the cost was $150.00. Accepts most credit cards and cash is always an option.. After I saw that love, compassion, and attentiveness, helpful services that her dog received from Fresh Paws, now I am considering to get a dog. Unfortunately, our building is not a pet friendly building. This place has been around for a little over 2 years. Parking is shared with other businesses. Lot was full, and we parked on the street. She and I highly recommend Fresh Paws to anyone who has a dog or a cat.. For more information, contact their friendly staff! Place was spotless clean and smelled good when we first walked in.

When I mentioned this to Fresh Paws, they got defensive and asked for a copy of my vet visit. I sent it to them showing where Macie needed to be on pain meds for a week. Fresh Paws did not ask how she was and did not follow up. They took no accountability. I don't know what happened but I think it was careless handling or maybe another dog attacked Macie. Whatever happened I will never know for sure but it will not happen to my baby again. I'm done!!!

In…read more2023/2024 I found the dog resort extremely helpful as a day time dog sitter for 4-6 hrs at a time. My dog didn't seem to mind it and always came back calmer so I decided to leave him here for 9 days while I went away for a trip. I don't recall the exact costs. Probably between 900-1100 dollars for daily walks and his home provided food. I asked the employees to put on his sweater at night. It wasn't a question it was a very important task they agreed to. He was a very small 8 pound yorkie and was always cold. When I came back my dog was not his normal self. That already made me highly suspicious about getting his walks. He was coughing a lot, not sleeping but also lethargic. I took him to the vet and he had pneumonia. Meaning, he was cold from day 1 and got worse for the remainder of his stay and I never got a call from here. From there he got sicker and sicker and I had to put him down. I was devastated and desperate to get him back to normal for months! I recommend people never leave their dogs in places like this. Sure you save money and they may or may not have company (depending on their personality) but you're better off vetting a dog sitter to check in or stay with your dog at home. In the end you may save yourself an onslaught of vet bills from trying to figure what is making your dog so ill when back from a trip. At least with an in home dog sitter they're more like to stay alive and healthy. If you have a small dog with specific needs get someone who can cater to your dog with love and care. I highly suggest NEVER leaving your dog for overnight or extended stays. I hate that it took me so long to post this but my grief was too strong to do it before. I wanted to sue, I wanted my money back, but I was so sad and I couldn't bring myself to do much other than focus on him and move on with my life. I'll never get another dog after this experience.

Wolly is a 12 lb, 10 year old Maltipoo who is very social but definitely set in his ways, so we do not say this lightly: we truly cannot say enough good things about the care he received here. From a logistics standpoint, the entire experience was incredibly easy. The flexibility of drop off before noon without needing daily sign ups was a huge win for us while traveling and juggling plans. Pick up as late as 7 PM was equally helpful, and the pricing felt very reasonable for the level of service. What really stood out was the thoughtfulness around safety and care. The facility is secure and gated at drop off, and we watched staff carefully manage dog flow right at the entrance. At one point, a team member even positioned themselves between our children and a larger dog out of an abundance of caution. That level of awareness told us everything we needed to know. We also appreciated the small but meaningful details. There is a live camera so we could check in whenever we missed him. They feed dogs separately and sanitize the area afterward, which gave us real peace of mind. But the true highlight was the caregivers. The way they greeted Wolly each day, how gently they handled him, and how clearly they knew the dogs in their care made this place special. Every afternoon we received the most adorable photo of him, and by midweek he was literally running inside, tail wagging, completely comfortable and happy. As dog parents, there is no better feeling than knowing your pup loves where he is and is being looked after by professionals who genuinely care. Wag Hotels Hollywood made our trip so much easier and more enjoyable. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of Wolly. We will absolutely be back the next time we are in LA.

Will not be returning to this establishment…read more My husband called on Saturday (5/2/26) to ask if they accepted walk-ins, as we recently moved to the area and were looking for a new groomer for our dog. The receptionist told us to come in right away since we were only a few minutes away. When we arrived, the same receptionist acted as if she had no idea about the call. We had to repeat ourselves, which made the interaction feel awkward and unwelcoming from the start. Instead of greeting us warmly, she seemed dismissive and inconvenienced. Things got worse when our dog was taken to the back. She is a small dog (under 20 lbs) and naturally a bit anxious, which we communicated. Rather than handling her with care, the staff member repeatedly pulled her by the leash when she hesitated, which clearly scared her. No effort was made to comfort her--no treats, no gentle approach, and no attempt to pick her up to help her feel safe. After seeing our dog being handled this way, we immediately asked for her back and left. As feedback to the owner: friendly customer service and gentle handling of animals should be the standard. Unfortunately, that was not our experience here.
