+ 3 stars because the folks that came to pick up my items were pleasant and courteous. - 2 stars because their website and pricing standards were an issue due to the following: (1) the website's 'free quote' button directs you to fill out information that auto books an appointment. This is likely because they give quotes when they show up to the appointment. Either way, this is a confusing feature of the website. (2) the price for the job was significantly more expensive than I was expecting. The person on the phone quoted me a max $180. When the folks showed up I was quoted over $300. Apparently it's against protocol to give quotes over the phone - but I was seeking a ball park estimate so I could make an informed decision as to which service to hire. It's tough to make a choice when you don't have full info pre-appointment. It also seems like an issue that different departments within the same company have different methods of pricing. I know you can refuse service if you're not ok with the price - but still. Ultimately, the price is the price and that's fine - but $300 to move a queen mattress, small/medium cat tower, and office chair seems kinda high? I think this service is probably great for some people - but I don't think it was quite right for me. read more
