Vets Move Junk is absolutely a 5 star operation. I'd give them more if the extra stars were available. We've got a lot going on right now and Mike worked with me tirelessly, professionally and with a great attitude as I switched dates on him probably at least half a dozen times. When we were finally able to secure a solid date the driver vet called me to let me know he was on his way.. He gave me an hour and a half notice! Stellar! I told him take your time as I still had quite a bit to do and he gave me another half hour on top of that. Awesome! When they got here they took a look around and quoted me a price. I needed at least one full truck load. Their prices are in line with every other company I've checked so no shock there. But who wouldn't want to hire vets? I appreciate all they've done and continue to do for this country. Anyway Gary was the lead mover and he got it done. It was a lot of junk, let me tell you! And not a complaint, nor sigh, nor any problem at all. Nothing but helpfulness, a willingness to toss anything from old toilets to heavy furniture, etc. These guys were on point! And Gary is a vet! So they're genuine! His helper was a guy whose family had served which was great also. They recently removed the remains of a large shed, and several other miscellaneous items. The whole process went very smoothly from ,y first contact with them to the last. The price was very reasonable and they even went a little beyond in helping me break up some wood that they could not take because it was pressurized. I would definitely use them again. read more

Unfortunately, when I spoke to him, Mike told me that they stopped by St. Vincent de Paul to donate items that could be recycled and they don't. Everything goes to the dump. By the time I eliminated all items that could be donated for free and that I am unwilling to trash and add to the landfill, I could no longer use my discount coupon since it doesn't cover a minimum load. And the electronics recycling they do is free if you contact your garbage service. This company is probably only time and money efficient if you are at the end of a move and are facing stiff penalties for not vacating the premises on time. Our last junk pick-up guy's truck broke down and did not notify me in advance that he may not make it for the appt...and I would not have known had i not called the previous guy a day before to confirm our appt (which he did end up cancelling on the day of!)--I did not want to chance the unreliability and have our heap of junk in the garage grow even bigger! They came, they saw, they conquered...The guys were very nice. Removed all requested items. The sofa and love seat were a chore due to the weight (lots of metal for reclining parts) and the size. I was impressed with the coupon that I had received in the mail. Plus they come out, see what you have and give you a quote, if you don't want removed they leave, no fuss no muss. The quote is good for 30 days, which I love, being on a fixed income if I had to save more than I had already allocated to accomplish the removal I had time and the price wasn't going to change. After inspecting the pile that I had created in the garage, they quoted a half truck load and took care of business. Quick turnaround once I agreed to the price. I highly recommend. Note: I was told everything gets taken to the dump. If you have a mattress (or box spring) there is an extra surcharge per unit, as the dump charges extra for those items. I have recently made the Best choice of moving to another state. The people who pick up the unwanted items after a moving yard sale. I took a chance and called Vets Move Junk, good move. They were advertised in a local mailer that comes every so often. I normally don't pay much attention to these type of ads but this one caught my eye thinking, being a vet myself, that after we hold our garage sale ,what do we do with the remaining goods.
