The park has been known to have fireworks. One of my absolute favorite features of this ballpark, is along the second baseline. That part of the field has "windows" in the brick wall at the street level, whereby individuals who want to see the game, but for whatever reason don't have a ticket can watch the whole thing unfold from the sidewalk. For individuals who can't acquire tickets for themselves or their children this is a wonderful feature, whereby they can still enjoy a professional baseball game. Hats off to the Clippers organization for incorporating this thoughtful design into their facility. Ample parking is close by. And usually this parking fairly reasonably priced. Be aware that the hockey arena and the soccer stadium are both close by, as well as other entertainment venues. In the height of summer, this can sometimes make for a very busy entertainment district. So be sure and check the schedule of what's going on at the other venues, You may need some extra time to arrive and navigate your way to the ballpark. I would highly recommend you always remember to place the receipt on your dash and make sure it doesn't fall off, as mine did. I got a email saying that I didn't pay for parking and it was a lot more money than I had originally paid. I had to leave the game and take a picture of the receipt and send it to them to proof it. A lot of drama! There is a lot that is owned by Huntington Park located at the home plate entrance. It doesn't come with drama. The tickets to the games are reasonable in price no matter what seat you choose. The food is pricey but no more than other ball parks. Some gluten free options are available but cross contamination may happen. I just go for the ice cream and popcorn!

The merch line blocked a lot of the lobby as well and it was less organized. For the second event I attended, the merch line was against the wall and went into the theater room. It was so much quicker and efficient. The staff is always so nice when taking you to your seat, etc. I don't think there's ever a bad seat here!

We enjoyed watching the Columbus Clippers play downtown at Huntington Park. We were able to get…read moregreat seats above the Clippers dugout so we were front and center for a lot of the fun touches they offered throughout the game, from starting the wave to cheering for t-shirts and the like. We were also close enough to the field to see how nice the players were to the folks who had lined up for autographs before play started. While it was ultimately a loss for the Clippers, it was great to see several homeruns hit out of the park by our team, keeping it exciting. We look forward to catching another game sometime.

Heads up: New location and new name!…read more Previously known throughout Columbus as Glass Axis, now the Columbus Glass Art Center, is a non-profit org offering glass blowing and glass art classes to the general public, no membership needed! I went to their Grand Opening of their new building and the space, and it's fantastic! Ample space for several different glass art technique classes. The teachers I met are absolutely wonderful, too! Willing to help/guide if necessary, creative minds, and just plain genuine and personable. I got the chance to make a glass mosaic (think glass art to hand in a window) and a simple smoking pipe (torch melting glass and all!), and it was phenomenal! I'm seriously looking into taking a few classes; and, besides, I know my money is going to an excellent org that's promoting art, culture, and creative partnerships throughout central Ohio!
