Featured events throughout the season include dime-a-dog nights (picture people eating 10 cent hotdogs!), several typical daytime "Businessman Special" games, and various other special events. The park has been known to have fireworks. One of my absolute favorite features of this ballpark, is along the second baseline. That part of the field has "windows" in the brick wall at the street level, whereby individuals who want to see the game, but for whatever reason don't have a ticket can watch the whole thing unfold from the sidewalk. For individuals who can't acquire tickets for themselves or their children this is a wonderful feature, whereby they can still enjoy a professional baseball game. Hats off to the Clippers organization for incorporating this thoughtful design into their facility. Ample parking is close by. And usually this parking fairly reasonably priced. Be aware that the hockey arena and the soccer stadium are both close by, as well as other entertainment venues. In the height of summer, this can sometimes make for a very busy entertainment district. So be sure and check the schedule of what's going on at the other venues, You may need some extra time to arrive and navigate your way to the ballpark. I would highly recommend you always remember to place the receipt on your dash and make sure it doesn't fall off, as mine did. I got a email saying that I didn't pay for parking and it was a lot more money than I had originally paid. I had to leave the game and take a picture of the receipt and send it to them to proof it. A lot of drama! There is a lot that is owned by Huntington Park located at the home plate entrance. It doesn't come with drama. The tickets to the games are reasonable in price no matter what seat you choose. The food is pricey but no more than other ball parks. Some gluten free options are available but cross contamination may happen. I just go for the ice cream and popcorn!

We finally had the opportunity to visit the Columbus Clipper's new ballpark in late 2023…read more Well, it's new for us since the last time we went to a game was when the Clippers played at Cooper Stadium in 2008. First, parking was simple and right next to the ballpark. We chose to sit in the outfield for $8 something, and to our surprise, the team store was right behind us. We visited it a couple of times for gifts for ourselves and friends. They had plenty of hats. Trust me, regarding inventory; I believe no team comes close to them on hats and different designs. The food and beverages were average-priced. We will return sooner since it was an impressive stadium.

It is an homage to Skankland, Columbus' first reggae bar, and a nod to Roots Records, Columbus' first and only reggae focused record shop. Both of these businesses are gone now, which is what makes this bar so very cool. The atmosphere is joyous and just very special. The drinks are all very good, and they have a really good Jamaican menu featuring jerked chicken, ox tail and vegetarian pies. All delicious. There is a $5 admission fee if you are not a Columbus Museum of Art member, but I renewed our membership because this place made it so worth it. You might be able to get a free pass through the Columbus Metropolitan Library too, but I seriously recommend getting a CMA annual membership to support great art like this.

Forever (ink on paper), and a video focusing on the color green. The setup of the displays made the rooms feel bare, but it was good for a quick walkthrough. I was actually more captivated by the lovely sculptures outside, surrounding the building. There were about 4 or 5 that I was able to check out while I was there (Jim Hodges' artwork is particularly unique and impressive).
