I went in specifically for a lymphatic facial drainage massage. The right side of my face has been swollen for quite some time and an MRI confirmed it is a lymph node. This is my first ever massage-only face treatment. In other words, it wasn't a "facial" per say, but more a lymphatic/massage/face love splurge for me. I have been eyeing lymphatic massage for the face and wondering if it would be worth it or was it just a bunch of woo-woo marketing LOL. I would say this was totally worth it, I loved it. I had never really experienced a massage in this way, but I knew her unique motions (almost like a small pinching and kneading motion) were going to bring blood to the surface and cleanse some toxins out.
