I got a facial with microdermabrasion. Mary was professional, welcoming, and accommodating. I knew I was going to get good service after she got excited when I told her I have a high pain threshold for extractions. LOL! She checked with me on how I was doing throughout the experience. Very nice. :) The only downside, honestly, is the venue (Salon True in Sherman Oaks), which only has valet (which is weird during Covid) or metered street parking. I love this place!! I recently got a anti aging facial with Mary and she was great! She always takes the time to explain what she's doing and which products she's using on my skin. She also spends extra time on the extractions, which is great! The best part of my facials with Mary is the Goji Hydrojelly mask she applies on my face!! It's a MUST!! Upon arrival Mary was super patient considering I was 10 min late she was very friendly and professional. Reason for the three stars is due to not being asked any questions in regards to my skin concerns or skin goals. She didn't go through the treatment or let me know what she was doing. There was minimal extractions, you can still see a lot of whiteheads on my skin and my pores are still very much noticeable. Once we were done I had a few questions and felt as if I wasn't worth the time as she walked out the room while she answered the first and only question I was given time to ask. I still gave her a $20 tip but would like to giver her another tip: Customer Service and the way you make people feel will go a long way when providing your services. I come to Mary for body contouring and facials and she is the best! She thoroughly described what I have to do before and after body contouring and realistic results that I will achieve if I keep going for sessions. I am excited to see my results once I keep being consistent in treatments. After facials she leaves my face looking so good and glowy and she know just how to get all my extractions.
