My son started at Acacia Montessori when he was just 3 years old. I was absolutely terrified, but from day one, the teachers and the director, Ms. Mildred, welcomed us with so much love, patience, and support. During our time there, I went through nursing school, a week-long hospital stay, and my son's autism diagnosis. His diagnosis was emotionally overwhelming, but the staff went above and beyond to support us. Even though they aren't a district school, they connected us with resources and helped get my son assessed, making the entire process so much easier. You can truly tell this school cares about its children. Whether it's the amazing events they put together or the genuine love they show every family, they always go the extra mile. Now my son is moving on, and leaving this school truly breaks my heart. I normally don't do reviews at all because I think their cringy BUT I will for this place. I've recently enrolled my son almost two months ago in the busy bees room and within two months I've seen an exponential growth in my son. His vocabulary grew, he has manners, he cleans up after himself, he became more independent. The teachers helped in the growth of my child and I can't thank them enough for it. The classroom setting is 10 children to 5 aids so there's always help and your child will also get that undivided attention. The school provides for everything so you don't even need to worry about buying extra diapers and wipes or a sleeping sack. They have a set learning plan and very transparent in what your child is learning and doing and they always send you pictures and videos through their parent portal so you never miss out on anything. During the summer right now they sent out the summer learning program of what they're doing and each week is a different subject. This week it's about science so they're doing all age appropriate activities that has science and my son loves all the activities. I highly highly recommend this school for your little one if you're thinking about enrolling your child. read more

My child started at Acacia school when she were 2 years and 8 months old, and I've had a wonderful experience. The teachers are kind, patient, and very supportive. With their help, my child successfully transitioned out of diapers, learned to clean up toys independently, and gained many new skills and knowledge. The worst school ever. DONT bring your kids to this school. I was picking up my 3 year old son, as I was walking in I hear the kids arguing "mine" "no mine" and look at the teacher and she's just on her phone not even looking at the kids. I asked where my sons sweater was she rudely replied "outside hanging". She then steps out leaving the kids alone for at least 4 minutes. Not that it's a huge amount of time but, a lot can happen in that time. I'm on my way out running to pick up my other son she calls me back and said I forgot to sign him out (btw I DID) I told her I think I did sign him out she again rudely says to me no you have to do it now. I ask if I can do it tomorrow morning since I'm running late to pick up my son, she tells me no, I have to do it now or they will get sited. I go back in to check. I HAD signed out, she doesn't bother to apologize to me, she just says "oh". My son had a fever of 101.I left work to pick him up when I arrived they had called the paramedics and fire department when I had told them not to because I was on my way to get him. Mind you I arrived within the hour of calling me!!! Worst school ever!!!!! If I could I'd give it negative stars I would. read more

I absolutely love this school. I was referred here by a mother at my older son's Elementary school. Much more inexpensive than what I paid at the Options state funded preschool that I sent my first son to. I wish I would have known about this school then! The director Mildred is very nice & welcoming. I was given a tour and a run down of the curriculum on my first visit...even though they currently had a back-to-school night taking place. I love that they made the time. Let's just say, I was a nervous wreck to have my little one begin preschool because he was such a homebody & used to being home with my parents while I worked. However they made him feel very comfortable on his first day & by the time I had to go, he looked up from playing & said "Bye mom!" I felt so much better that he was happy when I left & not in tears! He always said good things about his friends & the teachers when he got home, so I know they were nice to him...he would've told me if they weren't! At first I wasn't thrilled that they gave homework at such a young age, but he blew right through it and learned how to write his name very quickly! I was also really impressed with the Halloween event they had in comparison to my other son's preschool. It was so cute, with pony photos, a pumpkin patch, a snack bar & activities. I love this school my daughter started here a week before she turned 3 and the first week was hard but she adjusted well after that and the education my daughter was only 3 years old and knew all her numbers letters and her days of the week and months of the year she learning the solar system and now she learning to read she will be 5 this summer and on to kindergarten and i dont feel worried at all that my child is more than prepared to enter kindergarten and now my son will begin next week in the 2 yr old classroom im so glad both my children will get to experience this !
