She is not only professional, kind, and friendly, but also funny. We have some great conversations! She is very accommodating with appointments. I hate when places are only open during the traditional bankers hours of 9-5. Yoko offers such excellent hours that I no longer have to lie to my boss to leave early. I love this new location. You're literally 5 minutes from the beach and you also have a great view from upstairs where the salon is located. Yoko has her own private room inside of Hermosa Nail. The salon itself is really nice and clean and always smell good. Yoko's room is the perfect size. She has a very comfortable and cushy bed for clients to lay on. I get so comfortable sometimes that I end up falling asleep! My daughter got me started with the lashes and they've really been a game changer! Yoko does an amazing job every time and if you ever have any issues, you just let her know and she'll definitely have you come back. Yoko is super talented and offers all types of lashes, including classic and volume. She offers traditional fills, as well as a quick fill. I normally go every 3 weeks and my lashes are still full. She offers different types like mink, as well as different lengths. My lashes always look natural and I love that I no longer need mascara. I had been getting my lashes done regularly for almost three years, then started only getting them…read moredone for special events. I've been to a couple of techs and when I read that they used a special glue, I was surprised because I had never heard of it. When we started, she got frustrated and told me that my eye kept twitching. I told her it was because I felt a burning sensation and also felt like the tape was poking my eye. She offered the sensitive glue which i agreed to but I feel like she got really upset based on her tone. She asked me if I had drunk coffee, which I had. In the past, it never became an issue so serious. She kept claiming, in a slightly rude tone, that I felt burning because my eye kept twitching, but she never tried to fully tape my eye shut. The entire time, I felt burning and discomfort in my left eye, and every time she moved my lashes around, it hurt. I have never had that happen before, so I was really scared that it might lead to an infection or something. This morning, I woke up with the bottom of my eye red and my eyes still feeling a bit irritated. Right now, I regret getting them done there, and I'm hoping it's not something serious like an infection.

Scheduling with independent lash technicians became difficult for me because of scheduling conflict. They're open everyday. I usually see Tiana, but everyone who's done my lashes when she's unavailable is great! The longevity of the lashes is also great! I get a bunch of compliments on my lashes even when they're super outgrown haha Prices are reasonable! They also have a loyalty card!
