So very disappointed in this PT establishment! I waited 2 months for my 1st appt. Got to my appt 1/2 hr early as instructed to do paperwork. Got seen 10 min after my appt. This place has been terrible since day one! They NEVER answered their phones. I had to physically go into the their office after days of trying to get in contact with them. Once I was able to make an appointment a month out they ended up calling me a day before my appointment to reschedule due to their mistake and made me wait another month while I sat in my pain. When I finally arrived to my appointment they processed my insurance card incorrectly and charged me a fee when my insurance company said I shouldn't be charged. They didn't care to listen and charged me. So once again I had to attempt to get a hold of them to get my money back and of course NO ONE answered. I spent nearly 45 minutes on the day I was to do theraphy over phone / with the billing lady there @ trying to resolve a billing issue that had already been addressed by my workers' compensation provider. Despite multiple attempts, both my workers' comp representative and my staff were unable to reach anyone. Even during their break, the workers' comp team kindly offered to try again, but with no success. Yesterday again , I was informed upon arrival that my appointment would need to be rescheduled. My doctor referred me to this business but when I called to schedule an appointment the woman who eventually called me back about thirty minutes after I left a message was incredibly rude. I was having difficulty with my phone line connection at first so I did what I could to improve it but she got short with me and snappy after that, as if I had a poor connection on purpose just to annoy her. All she said at first was that she was returning my call but she didn't say what organization she was with so I was confused. When she finally let me know who she was with she kept snapping at me. She barked at me what I was calling for, what location, etc, and I asked her if she listened to my message because I explained clearly in the message that I was trying to schedule an appointment. I eventually told her I had to stop to take a deep breath so I didn't get upset about the way she was talking to me. The next thing I know, the call was 'dropped'. Vibrant Physical Therapy Clinic is excellent. Parking is easy, front desk staff is friendly, easy to schedule multiple appointments for the continuity. All the therapists and PT Assts. are professional and nice to the patients. I was lucky to have Dr Peng Fan, the manager of the clinic be my therapist most of time. She is very knowledgeable, always cares about my issues and pain, and came up with the right solution & exercises for me. When each session is over, she often offer heat pack (or cold pack) to me. She'll go through the trouble getting me situated comfortably for the heat treatment. I really appreciate it and highly recommend this facility and therapist to people. read more

Worker Comp patients beware! They try to force you to sign two forms saying that if workers comp doesn't pay, you will pay! Another form is if workers comp does not pay and you receive a settlement that it would be taken out of your settlement! This is not legal and they cannot make you sign it, and if your insurance company sent you there, they are responsible. Workers comp is such a joke, you're hurt because of your job, and you have to go through so many unnecessary changes to get well and what's do you. They take so long to pay doctors and physical therapy, that soon no one is going to treat workers comp patients. That's sad! But don't try to prey on someone who doesn't know any better to get your money as Vibrant Care does by having you to sign those forms! Read everything before signing, I refuse to sign and they saw me anyway! The office manager and her boss tried to give me a song and dance about their attorney said it's legal! Yes only if you don't know any better! It's not, check with your insurance carrier, better yet, find some place else! My therapist Isabela was great, but yesterday was her last day! Sad to say this is about my 4 or 5th workers comp case and that's how I know they shouldn't have you sign a form taking responsibility for payment when it's workers comp! read more

I want to start by saying Thomas for my OT was great. Full of information very caring very thoughtful about my rehab. I was also sent for PT for my knee, Which the therapist is OK. I felt very rushed and very dismissed and not a lot of any home treatment was discussed. As for the front office staffing, There is so much that needs to be approved upon. From not having the correct Insurance information at the time of my arrival, also crossing my chart with another person's insurance information. The staffing of the front desk just seems very, very confused and very unorganized, which then causes for a very unorganized appointment. I was seen for my first appointments then was not able to be seen again for over a month. To me it would be starting all over again after do much time has gone by. My mom is 78 y/o S/P knee replacement. Im so happy that she finished her last PT today after 6 weeks of a once weekly schedule. Her ortho surgeon wants it twice a week PT, but they have no other morning schedules available. I attempted to schedule her 6 weeks right after her surgery, but they said they can only pre-sched the 2 weeks. Of course by the time her first PT started, morning slots are all filled out & cannot accommodate twice weekly PT for her other 4 weeks. Staff here needs customer service training. One thing I always noticed is they seem to be Not happy with what they are doing. I never see them SMILE, especially their physical therapist. Most of the time they instruct my mom to "okay stand up or lie down, do 3 of 10 sets each & then they leave her by herself & come back after it's done, then will proceed to the next one. Simple greetings like Good Morning,, Hello, Have a good day was not observed to these employees. On her last day today, her therapist told me "I am giving your mom a print out for new exercises at home. Just make sure she is doing it." She printed the paper and gave it to me without explaining how these exercises are done. I do not recommend this rehab center. I will ask my mon's ortho surgeon to refer her to another center for her other knee. This is the worst health care center I've been so far! read more

I would give 5 stars to VINSON who is a phenomenal and very caring physical therapist. He really cares about my son's recovery and rehabilitation progress from his two back to back knee surgeries on the same knee. My son has shown significant progress since seeing VINSON just about every week for several months now. I also have 2 other friends who have had only OUTSTANDING experiences with VINSON as well. Last week, my son had a scheduled weekly physical therapy session with VINSON, however, I had foreseen that we would not make it in time, due to conflicting factors, so I called the day before my son's appointment 6 different times (twice in the morning, twice in the early afternoon and twice in the late afternoon), and I kept getting their voicemail, so I left a very long, very detailed message requesting to cancel my son's appointment and requesting that someone return my call to reschedule the appointment. I didn't receive a call back the following day (the day of my son's appointment), so I continued to call again, and called 5 different times, and still kept getting their voicemail, so I left a second voicemail, once again, a very long and detailed voicemail and mentioned that I had left a message the day before to cancel and reschedule my son's appointment. No one ever called me back. I decided to just wait until this week to address the issue, since my son already had standing weekly appointments with VINSON. Well we showed up yesterday, after driving 40 minutes in traffic, and when we were checking in, I was told by a new receptionist that my son's appointment was cancelled for yesterday due to a NO-SHOW. This was when I explained that I called for 2 consecutive days and left 2 very detailed voicemails requesting to cancel and reschedule my son's appointment and no one ever called me back. One of the receptionist who has been working there for quite some time asked me, "Well did you leave a message?". After I just explained to both receptionist that I left TWO voicemails, but no one called me back! Then she proceeded to say, "Well it was never rescheduled because you didn't call to reschedule it." My response to her was, "No, that's incorrect because I did call several times and even left 2 voicemails and no one called me back so how could I have rescheduled my son's appointment if I did my part but no one called me back?" She then just looked at me and answered an incoming call. So as you can imagine, at this point, I was frustrated with the responses I was receiving, so I pulled my phone out and showed the newer receptionist my call log, which showed 2 consecutive days of several calls to Vibrant Care (Pinole) and I even showed the calls that had 4 minute durations which were the two voicemails I left. After the new receptionist looked at my call log and verified that I did make several calls to the correct number, she then asks me, "So did you leave a voicemail?".... As you can imagine, now I'm very disappointed and upset because the two receptionist tried to make it seem like I was at fault, when the reality is, THEY WERE! They're literal job as receptionists is check people in and manage the appointments schedule, which includes ANSWERING YOUR PHONE AND CALLING PATIENTS BACK! This is the nature of their job. And it was offensive to try to make it seem like I was the one who "no-showed" or didn't do my due diligence in calling them to cancel my son's appointment and reschedule, when I have actual proof on my call log that I did! So here's what really bothers me about this.... When they cancel an appointment and mark it as a "no-show" in their system (even though in my case, it was NOT), they re-start the reevaluation process with the patient and basically all the future weekly standing appointments for my son are now cancelled and he has to start all over and be scheduled a "reevaluation appointment" when he could really just be continuing his weekly MUCH-NEEDED physical therapy sessions to help his progress and recovery. Oh, but that's not all.... This whole false accusation of "no-show" (when I really actually called to cancel the appointment and left a voicemail to cancel & reschedule) but NO ONE IN THE RECEPTION STAFF CALLED ME BACK has happened to me TWO OTHER TIMES BEFORE!!! So yesterday was THE THIRD TIME this exact situation has happened. This is unacceptable! If it weren't for the phenomenal physical therapist that VINSON is to my son, I would never come back. read more

The people who work here are great, but there is something that just is not right about the way it is run. I made an appointment a few months in advance because it's impossible to be seen right away and I was going out of the country for 7 weeks. When I got back, I went for my appointment and they told me I didn't have one. They also said I had no referral. It was as if I'd dreamed the whole thing up. I left, and called hoping I'd speak to the person who booked me. I was told that the therapist I was assigned was relocated and they just cleared their schedule and didn't bother to let anyone know. After several more phone calls, and three visits back to the reception, someone finally found my referral - it was attached to an old one. We rescheduled an appointment for two weeks out. While going for one issue, another one came up with my foot. The podiatrist sent a referral. Each time I went, I asked about my foot and they said they didn't have the referral. Finally, last week, the receptionist said she'd call the podiatrist and have an answer for me when I left. When I left, she was not there. Today I went and asked about the referral and was told they didn't have it. While I was discussing this with the therapist, the supervisor overheard. She came out with her laptop and said she'd found the referral. But then I was told it was a separate issue and I'd need to make another appointment. I don't know if it's an IT issue and/or a staffing issue, but something is clearly not working. The people who work there are great, and I don't blame them, but overall, there is something dysfunctional about the operation. This recommendation is for Brianna, the Hand Occupational Therapist. I went to Brianna in a great deal of wrist and hand pain due to a fall I took. She treated me for de quervains tendonitis, intersection syndrome and a TFCC injury. Brianna was caring and thoughtful, and listened to my concerns. She is knowledgeable in the field and knew exactly what to do to treat my injuries. She gave me clear instructions and exercises and was extremely so towny when I would forget them or have trouble. She was always patient with me when I needed her to explain or repeat something again. She clearly cares a lot about helping her patients to get better and be pain free. The facility is clean and nice and the front desk staff members were all friendly and considerate. I had a very positive experience there. read more

For each of my 3 visits here, I was paired with a therapist for 20-minutes, after which they take on the next client while they attempt (and fail) to multitask both of us at the same time. The receptionist greeted me by name on my 2nd visit. The facility is clean and filled with natural light. These make an appointment more pleasant; however, it was physical therapist that I saw that makes this a 5 star review. In just 5 appointments I regained the use of my fingers. My wife highly recommended this Location after suffering a knee, back and shoulder injury secondary to a vehicle accident. Specifically, she raved about Srishti and her magical touch. So, when I woke up with excruciating shoulder pain that made it impossible to use my arm, I decided to check out VibrantCare (Srishti). My wife made the appointment...lol. I appreciated the reminder call informing me of the approaching appointment and what to expect. On the day of the appointment, I was impressed with the receptionist (Danielle) and how smooth the check-in process was. The paperwork was used in my initial meeting with Srishti, answering questions that would have taken time away from the actual, "hands on" therapy. After the initial evaluation by Srishti, we went right into rehabilitation exercises. My wife wasn't kidding, Srishti does have a gift. She worked on my shoulder about 15 minutes and then demonstrated a set of exercises to perform until the next appointment. I don't know exactly what Srishti did, but those 15 minutes of stretching, flexing, pushing, pressure point areas on my shoulder gave me relief that I had not felt in weeks. I followed the 5 exercises Srishti emailed to me, performing them daily, until our next appointment (2 weeks). I was better in a week. I even hit a bucket of golf balls, something I had not done in months...pain free. The day of my second appointment, Srishti was sincerely happy about my progress. My shoulder movement was back to normal range. Srishti gave me more exercises to perform for the future, but agreed that I was back to normal. I highly recommend VibrantCare, specifically, Srishti. All the staff new and old are very helpful, pleasant, friendly and as I'm on my 4th reevaluation of numerous therapy goals of healing I actually call them family. I get greeted with a "Good Morning and a Hello Miss Tina ". Which also shows how much I appreciate the love showed. I have been to other physical therapy offices and I refused them because I didn't get any kind of welcoming as I do as I get going to Vibrant care. I even asked my dr to extend my therapy time just so I can continue the exercise and rehabilitation that I received because I feel it helps me in so many ways. I have had an overall good experience at this Pinole office. Originally I thought physical therapy was a waste of time and I was only going because Workmans Comp told me to after I injured my knee. I have seen some improvement though and have changed my mind due to the improvement as well as to the experience I have had with the Vibrantcare employees. Mindy at the front desk started me off feeling good about the place. I have worked with Rich, Pauly, Heidi and Leaha (sorry folks if I mispelled your names). They all manage to relate to you on a personal level yet stay professional. I waited for 35 minutes while they saw other patients, made internal phone calls and talked to RN Antoinnette who only seemed to add to the confusion by transposing the numbers of Vibrant Care and telling me that their office number doesn't work. This is the third exhibit of unprofessional behavior at Vibrant Care. The first is that staff comes in late and stops working before leaving. On my first visit, Ana Vasquez refused to write my work slip because she was going to be off work in ten minutes and sat at the desk doing nothing until she received a personal phone call. The second was a most concerning breach of confidentiality when she put a patient on speaker phone to laugh at the patient's disappointment in having missed an appointment. I was also disappointed that the site manager, Emily Hernandez, tried to pass the buck and publicly criticize the receptionist who took the call from Kaiser's adjuster/ referral contact. My mother has a family practice clinic in the central valley and her 18 year old trainee medical assistants are more professional than the front office representatives of vibrant. After having labrum surgery I was diagnosed with frozen shoulder from orthopedic surgeon Doctor Joshua Richards. I arrived at vibrant care for my 8 am appointment but i did not have my referral from my doctor. I was told that there is a 15 minute window for patients. I live relatively close(5 minutes away) and offered to go pick up my referral. The front desk told me would reschedule me to the following week because i wouldn't be able to get the paper in time. I stepped outside and called my surgeons office to have the papers faxed to vibrant care. It took 2 minutes to handle. I walked back into vibrant care and let the front desk know the papers were faxed. Unfortunately i was met with another excuse because she told me the referral is sent to the corporate office first. I also offered to have it emailed. The front desk did not try to work with me at all. I'm in significant pain and was treated with terrible customer service.
