My wife went downstairs to see if we can get a different bedroom and we were told that there were no other available rooms. They offered to send someone to re-clean the carpet and spread some kind of powder that would take care of the smell. We set at the patio area and had to wait and wait till finally I went inside and asked the bartender if there was service outside. She sent us a waiter 10 minutes later who provided us with the menus. I opened the menu and there were leftover foods inside that menu. Obviously we didn't order any food there paid for a coffee and a drink. Told the waiter about the food in the menu who by the way answered that they changed the menus every two months. Great I guess no one opens the menus to see if they need to be cleaned inside. With dinner somewhere else came back late and found out that no one had been in our hotel room at that point we were too tired and exhausted. So the next morning we checked out, went back home and I ended up with the most severe allergy reaction in my life. I had to go to the emergency room Cortizone shot and three additional medications. By the way, I'm still taking those medications at the moment. Worst experience of my life. $400 a night so you can get sick.

I do occasionally wish they had been a little quicker to reply or maybe a little bit more forward thinking in their response to the pandemic, however crazy year so I can't hold them to blame at all. My husband and I rented the complete venue for the full weekend. Best thing we could've ever done, it felt like the venue was really ours we could get really comfortable and at home there it was a great opportunity for our family and friends to mix and mingle. They were extremely accommodating, the workspace was super helpful to have, we were able to kind of set up slowly and deliberately I did everything myself, so just that freedom and flexibility was incredible. We absolutely love the venue itself I can't imagine having my wedding anywhere else, unfortunately we didn't get to have my complete wedding vision due to Covid in the lockdown. I was hoping for a wedding parade and post ceremony or post reception pub crawl. Again not their fault. I'm just saying this location has a ton of untapped potential. Husband and I both agree, we would love to come back here and throw a redo wedding or and or anniversary party someday. Beautiful family run business great concepts the hotel rooms were amazing - though some guests suspected it was haunted. All in all given the craziness of this year we couldn't avast for a better experience, weekend or wedding. Thanks!

But still with super cool and creative design. Maddie was extraordinarily friendly, professional and welcoming. We reserved room #6 which was perfect for my partner and I. Perfectly sized so we could both move around without bumping into one another. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I've slept in. Some rooms (ours was one) come with carports to protect your vehicle from the brutal Arizona sun. Although, it's not so brutal up here (we came in June and the temps definitely beat Phoenix temps). Each room has a lovely little patio area in front where you can enjoy some outdoor time with lovely views of pine trees. It was clean, comfortable and reasonably priced. Also, if you're up there in summer and can brave the summer temps, it was a nice walk (about 1.5 miles) to Whiskey Row where all the excitement lies. If you like fun, thoughtful decor, this is definitely your spot. I highly recommend staying here.

Yeah, there was a loss of communication on the ability to check in after hours (their office hours end at 5 pm on weekdays and 7 pm on weekends). I ended up staying at a nearby motel, the Sierra Inn, just down the street (see my review of that place). I did return the next day and I got a refund (all but the non-refundable $25). Kaylee was especially kind in helping me get my refund. I hope I get a chance to stay there on the next trip thru Prescott. NOTE - this motel has the shortest office hours of any that I've ever stayed at, but they do have digital keys for the rooms, so you can arrive after office hours and still get in. There was a glitch on the phone number help line, that I'm sure will be rectified promptly. You park in front of your room and the parking is a little tight, so don't bring your Giant 4x4 or RV. So why did I give a motel 5 stars without having stayed there? Well, mostly because of Kaylee at the front desk. She went above and beyond to help me get my money back, and if the rooms are as good as her assistance was, it's worth every star.
