Nice down home bar and restaurant with live music. Definitely a friendly locals bar in Dewey.

We had never been to this country club and were actually pleasantly surprised. They have an outside deck in the green and you can also choose to sit inside. There is plenty of parking and food is very inexpensive. Service was great and of course, the entertainment was the best! Great cocktails! We ordered the nachos and though they were huge, they weren't what I expected. I'll have to try something else next time! read more

The golf course is improving. It looks better than it has in a long time. The food in the restaurant is very good and reasonably priced. The server was overwhelmed with the crowd, but was still friendly and helpful. I watched the interview with the manager and it sounds like they have more improvements in mind. We'll continue golfing here occasionally and enjoy the food. read more

We weren't expecting a pristine course and it certainly isn't that but it is in a pretty setting. However we quit after 12 holes had taken us 21/2 hours. We waited 10 minutes on each tee box. The Men's league group in front of us were painfully slow, parked next to green and took so Much time putting you'd think they were playing for big bucks!! The Marshall did nothing! We really enjoyed this course. It looks like they are doing a lot of work on it. Loved all of the big trees. There are 3 and 4 par holes and not many sand or water traps. Great prices, we will be back for sure. read more

My husband and I went out to Quailwood Greens for the first time tonight. We both got the chicken piccata. It was delicious! Was it high end? No. Was it diner food? So far from it! It was the best meal we've had out in a long time. We actually stopped going out because everything is over priced and bad quality. Our server Ashely was a doll. Very personable. The Manager, didn't get his name, was very attentive and spoke with us for a while boasting about the Chef. Apparently she's vegan: but she knows her stuff when preparing food. Pasta was cooked perfectly. The asparagus still had some crunch to it. The chicken was very moist. Everything was great. We will be going back. Good Job Quailwood Greens! read more

Almost unplayable conditions the greens were so bad on the course and the driving range. Really rough conditions for a golf cart as well. Based off other reviews this course is under new management so hopefully it'll be in better condition after a couple more seasons and for that I'll give it a 3 instead of a 2 since new management has come in and will hopefully improve the place! read more

Family friendly. Staff is nice. The cost is very reasonable. Carts are in good shape. The only negatives are the course is often muddy and the greens are really rough. I just started golfing and I really enjoy this course. They also have pretty good food options as well. Definitely worth a visit. read more

If I was rich, I'd give them four stars. My wife and I can't afford to play at the expensive courses. For my money this is the best course in the area. We thoroughly enjoyed our first time and plan to be regulars. I will pack some loosable balls for shooting over the gorges. My wife has just started playing, and we're going to donate at least three balls a game until she can drive far enough. read more

Seen this course on the way to other more notable courses in Prescott and always said I would stop and play it someday. Well I did, and am glad for it. Friendly check-in and a pleasant experience. Only downer was getting stuck behind a 5some that had no intention of letting our twosome go by. They even acknowledged this. All in all a fun course that was a little more difficult than expected but will definitley come back for more. Bar and food area closed for Virus so no rating for that. read more

This course is a lot of fun. Owners are making it better every year. Lots of trees and big improvement in the greens. Price is right too.

This could be a great course. I know water is short but golfing on dried grass the whole course is not good. Yes I will go back but wish they would green it up and clean it up better. read more

Placed an online tee time at Quailwood for $22 (a pretty fair price for a POS course), only to walk into the clubhouse and immediately greeted by an old man with a piss poor attitude. I let him know when my tee time was and I can clearly see on his computer where my name was, so obviously the online payment worked. He then, still with an angry and bitter attitude, tells me it'll be $21. I told him I had already paid the green fees on line to which he responds "That doesn't matter, you still owe us money". I get my cell phone out to show him my confirmation number for my green fees and all the while I'm pulling it up he keeps barking "it don't matter what that says, you still owe us money!" I have to ask him to stop being so short and rude and just allow me to pull up my confirmation, which he ignores and continues to bark. I manage to show him the information, and without even looking at it continues to bark. So Quailwood expected me to pay up to $45 to play on a garbage golf course when for the same money I could have gone LITERALLY across the street to play the INFINITELY higher quality Prescott Country Club for that same price? Needless to say, I won't ever be playing Quailwood again. It's not a golf course. It's a goddamn dumpster fire. read more

My husband and I have been playing this course for almost 2 years. We played when the course was in minus 10 condition but continued to hang in there until the owners have done a few repairs. We book our tee times on Golf Now. - We go inside and check in early and chit-chat with the owner. He never says anything about waiting on our tee time to hit our first ball. - There is no one on the course waiting to tee off, in the fairway for #1, on the green for #1 or #2, virtually wide open. - We are walking off the green, first hole and the owner comes riding up on in a cart. He scolds us for taking off before our time. We are not to tee off one minute early if we book on Golf Now since he makes no money off Golf Now. Golf Now gets the money. - We tell him we didn't realize we had to wait since it was wide open and he continues to scold us saying "since my husband works at a golf course, he should know this". Confused? What golf course?? Seriously! - We have played on that course behind seniors who were playing 5-6 hour rounds and never complained. We have played when a player will appear from no where on the course from his house is located starting at whatever hole he lives by and we never complained. - The owner could have waited until our round was over and let us know we had broken the rules. We ended up quitting at 9 holes. Or we are out there every Monday, tell us then to wait till our tee time. NO! He has to come out and scold us for breaking the rules. Bottom line .. there is no Customer Service anymore anywhere especially at this little "wanna be" course. In the past, we not only played golf but had drinks and food in the grill. We will NEVER set foot on this course again! If you play this course, my suggesting to you is .. don't book on Golf Now! Don't break the rules or you will be scolded! Expect 5-6 hour rounds on a course that need a lot of work! We are only 2 people but we will be telling everyone we know about our experience! If you want to be so strict on your tee time rule, get a Starter! That's what grown-up golf courses do!! Linda Glasscock read more

It is unfortunate that Christian apparently had such a poor experience. He is right that the course is not a first class track but it is enjoyable to play. It is short but has several challenging holes that can allow for an aggressive approach (risk/reward). The green fees reflect the quality of the course. And I have always found the owner and staff pleasant and the food staff friendly. read more

I love playing golf, I am an above knee amputee and since I lost my leg have played many great courses. If I could give this course no stars I would. Let's start with the condition of this course....there are no greens keepers so that's sell explanatory. It's like hitting out of the rough but it's on the tee box. The prices are way more than I want to pay to play on such garbage. I'd like to pay about $3.50, they charge around $20 which is a rip off if you have ever played here. And now for the worst of the worst. The owner.....oh the owner.....he is a disgusting human being no better than the dirt on the bottom of my prosthetic foot. He disrespected me, my friends and the whole sport of golf. He was one of the meanest, cold hearted owners of any business I have ever seen. Anyways I played this course years ago and it was a little better. They have gone down hill and I will never play here again. SOME of the bar staff were very nice, I truly hope they get paid well for their kindness. That is all. read more
