Bought a 2017 Ford escape in June of 2024 it only had 38000 miles on it.​ Drove it to Indiana for Christmas come back home got up the 29th of December to go to work and motor is locked up. So it had to be taken to a Ford dealer needless to say I did not get my car back until the end of March 2025. In July of 2025 the starter goes out. I called and talked to Madison and explained it to her. Made an appointment for the following Monday at 1. My son and husband put it in my son's trailer and took it out there. On Monday around 3 I called Madison to see if they figured it out. She says did you try to jump it. I told her no the battery was brand new which I also told her on the phone. She called me back an hour later and tells me it's the starter she can get it in by noon on Tuesday and it will be finished by the end of the day. Tuesday at 3:45 I call to see if it was done and I was told no. That it probably won't be done until Wednesday. I told her that it had to be done that day. Would not recommend these folks on used cars. 2016 Escalade started showing transmission issues within a week of buying it (6 weeks ago). I paid $4700 for the added, mid-level warranty (drivetrain plus). I had it towed back ($133) to them for diagnosis and warranty repairs, but they said transmission is fine, but the "thermostat is stuck closed" and the warranty company denied coverage (even though the documents clearly and specifically cover "thermostat"). Bare in mind, we had no overheating symptoms (that would result from a stuck closed thermostat)....we did have the opposite: coolant not getting over 160°, so I already knew the thermostat needed replaced. Being as the claim was denied, they offered to replace it for $950, stating that "the job is very extensive" and All Data calls for 5.5 hours labor alone. I declined that and will do it myself. The part is $30 and will take 45 minutes to install...if that. So...not only did they misdiagnose, they also charged me $130 diagnostic fee, because the repair was declined. After investigation, I discovered that they supplied the warranty company the wrong contract number, when they tried to submit it, which was actually on the "freebie" 30 day power-train coverage and not the $4700 behemoth I purchased. Had they given them the correct Contract Number, it would have been covered (per the warranty company). At this point, the transmission issue has yet to be addressed, but I'll take it somewhere else. In fairness, when I explained this massive "ball drop" to the Service Manager today, he said he would refund the $130 diagnostic fee. We'll see how that works out.....I'll update this review, should anything change. read more

We bought a used car one week ago. Today Scott called and told me "he made a mistake on the paperwork" and accidentally deducted my down payment twice and we needed to come in and pay back the amount deducted. It was not a huge amount of money but nonetheless I asked if he would be willing to adjust the selling price of the car since they were unwilling to negotiate on the asking price initially. Instead of responding back to me he called my bank told them he would not list them as the lien holder and to tell me to either pay the money or bring the car back. Even my bank said they would take the car back because he was so hateful. I called to resolve the payment issue and he was "too busy" to take my call. I 100% do not recommend buying from this dealership. read more

I was seen by Jeff both times and he's truly kind and honest. I went for an oil change and the other time for a transmission coolant line. They were upfront with all pricing. They actually charged me less for the transmission coolant line than a stand alone auto shop quoted me. They also will drop you off back to school. That's important to me. read more

The starter on our Tahoe went out and we towed our car here for repair. They drove us home when we dropped off the car late Fri afternoon. First thing Mon they called with an estimate and suggestions of some other issues. I approved repairs and by Tues afternoon the had our car all fixed and ready to roll. The final bill was LESS than the estimate the car was clean and runs great. Jeff was the person who helped us and I cannot say enough nice things about his friendly, honest, professional customer care. We will be bringing our vehicles here for all our maintenance and repair needs. read more

I would give zero stars if possible. I listed a vehicle on Craigslist for sale and was contacted by them wanting to buy it. Long story short, the arrangement I had with the individual he obviously didn't bother telling anyone else there and after waiting several days because they didn't have anyone there to "sign the check" or so I was told, I had told a half dozen people it was sold and when I arrived I had a lengthy wait from 10a-2p which isn't the worst part. They informed me that there was a huge misunderstanding and they were not going to buy the car. So if you choose to do business here you better get everything in writing or they'll screw you over! read more

I had some body work done in the Fall last year. After I got my car back I noticed some rock chips and scratchs all over my car. After telling the body repair man he insisted they were there before I came in to have him work on my car which didn't make sense because if so I would of had him fix them. Anyway, he finally agreed to fix them at a later date. Then I was involved in a hit and run so to kill to birds with one stone I took my car back in to them. Again, I got the car back some of the scratches and rock chips were fixed some were not. I wouldn't go back to these people. To sum it up a fake smile and a salesman attitude only goes so far when dealing with real people on a day to day basis. read more

Wow talk about a TERRIBLE place to buy a vehicle! My wife and I went there to look at a mini van. I sat down with a salesman to see what we can work out. We were looking to get a more family friendly vehicle and lower our payments. I was just about even on my car that I was trading in. They were at the top of the value of their vehicle and I owed at the top of trade in on mine. The night started to get long and the wife and kids (one 2 and another 3) were ready to go home and to bed. I asked the salesman if we could finish this up in the morning since I also didn't know exactly how much payoff was on my car. The salesman and manager kept pushing to finish the deal that night and with two tired kids we were ready to leave. So we said that if payoff is more than what they "estimated" they would have to absorb that because we were not wanting to sign papers that night and did not want to put anything down. They said they would take care of it. So at this point we have a new vehicle and they wanted to detail it for us the next day at 9:30. The next day at 9:30 I show up to get it detailed after 2 hours sitting in the service waiting area they finally came and asked for me to come back the the Sales area. This was because my payoff was $800 more than they "estimated" and wanted me to pay it. I tell the salesman I won't do it. He scoffs at me so I tell him to give me back my trade in. His words to me were "This isn't Walmart." Needless to say I was a bit unhappy. I explained that the only reason we signed is to not get caught like this. I was there from 9:30 AM till 2:00 PM for the second time. Now I look at my paperwork "that is not signed by me" and the purchase price of the car is more than what was listed, my trade in was basically given away, I have NO CLUE who my linder is so I can get in contact with them to pay them. On top of that Vic "The owner" shook my hand but couldn't care less about the experience we were having there. Long story short save yourself time and money. August 19th, 2013 Four days ago we finally get a car that my wife has always wanted, a 2004 Chrysler Sebring Convertible. We traded our 2 motorcycles and our '93 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme Convertible in on this Sebring at Vic Koenig in Carbondale. Today, I walked out into the garage and found a radiator fluid puddle under the car. I texted Dion, the salesman about it and he said, "Talked with management and we didn't make any money on deal and it was a as is vehicle and not much we can do." Remember this was only four days ago, two business days ago. So I took it to a company that I trust to check it out. They are a local company that takes care of our personal and business vehicles. They said the water pump is leaking and needs replaced. It has been leaking for a while. The total for the repairs is $840. They said Vic Koenig had to have known it was leaking and was bad. I took the car to Vic Koenig where I waited for thirty-five minutes on Mike Price, the general manager. When Mike and Dion, finally came out to talk to me, I asked their permission to record the entire conversation. Mike said that was no problem. The only option he would give me is to take the car back and give me my cars back. I've already put $320 into the car by tinting the windows and putting in an iPod jack. So, I told him no. I asked him to write me a check for $840 to fix the car or just buy the car back from me at retail. He said no. I told him that $840 was a small price to pay to fix a car that they sold me that had problems and was a lemon versus having to pay for all of the license fees, title fees, etc. Even after threatening to contact the Attorney General's office, the B.B.B. bad review's on the Internet etc. He still said no. Here is some more of the conversation with Mike and what was said while knowing he was being recorded: "We don't take care of every customer that has a problem, because we sell those types of cars." I brought up the fact that this was my wife's dream car. He responded, "I'm not worried about your wife. That's your wife." I mentioned he sold me a lemon. His exact words were, "Okay, that's bad business. We sold you a lemon, I'm offering to take the vehicle back." I said that I didn't ask him to take it back, just to fix it. He again said no. I mentioned again that he would be out more money taking the vehicle back and giving me my vehicles back. He said, "That's my decision." He didn't even offer to have his technician's look at it or try to fix it. When I mentioned that he said, "We will have our people do the work, but you'll have to pay for it." He even mentioned the company that we use to work on our vehicles saying, "I'm not gonna have -------- work on it." He once again said, "I'm offering to give your vehicles back and I will take the vehicle we sold you." I said, "but, you won't take care of this vehicle." He said, "I'm not going to take care of it." I said, "So who's to say, that whenever you sell this to another person, they're not gonna get the same problem." He said, "I will take care of that." I said, "Then why won't you take care of that for me?" He said, "Because I can wholesale it." I said, "Really you're going to wholesale an $8,000 car?" He responded, "Your talking about my business here. I've been doing this for 40 years." I interrupted and said, "and you take care of all of your customers this way?"
