Came here to get uniforms for my son, he starts kindergarten in the fall. He's big for his age, and staff was great with helping us figure out his sizes. They are very organized and since our school is new they didn't have everything on hand but were able to order the items to ship to our house. I feel inclined to give this store a 5 star review to help offset all the negative ones. My daughter received the wrong plaid print for her school (apparently there is another very similar plaid print). We had already worn and washed her items during her first week at school. Once I was notified by her school of the wrong print, after seeing all the negative reviews I was worried we wouldn't be able to exchange them. After giving them a call they were super friendly and acknowledged that we were due an exchange for the correct print. We drove to the store and they were very friendly and apologetic about the mistake and provided great assistance on the exchange as well as helped me purchase some additional items. I really wish there was another company for school uniforms. Customer service here is a hit or major miss. I had made an order online for my daughter's jacket, sweatshirts were getting small for her. So I did what anyone would have done. I ordered everything 1 size up. She had been in medium (10-12) as labeled on her outer wear. I ordered a large (14-16). When placing the order, I requested to pick up at the store. I wanted for almost a week and nothing. Finally I went to the store after I called 2x today and when I told the sales lady I wasn't sure why the order was taking so long. I told her I even tried calling the store. She took out the phone from her pocket and said, I had the phone on me. I had to show her that I called. Then she got her package we ordered and she said we did call you. I asked her what day. I looked at my call log and indeed they did call but never left a message. How would I know if it's ready if they didn't even leave a message. And who picks up calls from unknown phone numbers these days. I took out the ordered items and for some reason the windbreaker looked oddly small on the arms so I had my 11 year try it on. When she tried it on, the arm sleeve came up above her wrist. I asked the sales lady about it and she said they fit everyone differently. I said this was meant for a 14-16yo. My daughter is 11. She said well I've seen 14-16 year olds that are small too. I asked her if she was seriously telling me that my 11 year old is the same height and size of a 14-16yo? She's 11, 92lbs and not even 5' tall. Then she said once the school patch is placed on the jacket it's nonrefundable. I told her that it's was not ok. The other 2 outer wear, sweatshirt and fleece jacket was the same size and arm length was a little long for her but a windbreaker meant for a 14-16yo has sleeves that are above her wrist is normal?! She said it's different manufacturers and she told me I should have looked at the product details. I told her the product detail did not have the measurements nor did I think that a jacket for a 14-16yo would not fit my 11 yo. After a few conversations of her talking to me like I was the one that should understand that some 14-16 year olds are built like an 11 yo. She finally said they would refund me. She had the audacity to tell me that I should have brought her in to try on the jackets. I told her I would have never thought that an outer wear meant for a child in high school would not fit an 11 yo. I asked her to please let her try on another size. She then told me that the XL was the same size as the L. WTH?!?! Ok that's why they were going to refund us. Because there was a discrepancy in the size! She said they are going to contact the manufacturer. But meanwhile she made me feel like it was my child and rude with her comments which made me get upset. To the point another parent there started to shake her head at what the lady was saying to me. She ended up in a women's adult small which was big for her but it was better than the alternative. Well... now its almost end of 2nd week of school and still no items. I emailed them, no response. I call them, the voice mail is full. There is no way of getting a hold of them, yet they falsely advertise that the emails are checks 7 days a week!!! such bs. This place is HORRIBLE and I don't know why our school switched to them, but rest assured I will let the school know how TERRIBLE they are and will seek signatures from other parents to stop using them. A customer has no way to contact them unless it involves physically going to Huntington Beach and knocking at the door. I will be advising my child's school to discontinue their relationship with this place, which does not seem to want to be in business. Drove to the location so that we would not have to pay return shipping. What a waste of time! I bought more than $300 worth of items, but I wanted to exchange only one jacket for the next size up (since 2nd graders outgrow clothing so quickly). Item was brand new, unwashed, tags attached, perfect condition. Lady at the front said we could not exchange because it had the school logo at the front. I pointed out that their return/exchange policy specifically said exchanges were allowed regardless of logo. (Literally showed her the website policy.) She said that removing the logo would damage the jacket, therefore, there was nothing she could do. She placed the jacket on the counter and walked away. The school recently switched to this uniform supplier, so I am wholeheartedly disappointed. I did report the incident to the school principal. Not all of us have a choice, but if possible, avoid this place! Take your business elsewhere. read more

As others have said you won't get your uniforms on time. I went to the store 6 weeks ago and I'm still missing items. I called and was promised they would be here next week. That was 4 weeks ago. You can't call and leave a message because the voicemail is full. I've emailed multiple times and no one ever replies to my emails. They know that we are stuck using them so they don't care. We have no other options for Uniforms and it's a nightmare. Not to mention on top of all of that their sizing is so incorrect it's wild. You can have 2 of the exact same item that is supposedly the same size and they will be an inch off. So you never know what you are getting. read more

I'm sorry, staff are nice but the service is pretty bad. There is obviously no competition for this business, as private schools only resort to them for uniforms. A few things that they really need to work on: 1) Online ordering expectations: I put an online order on August 17. No email on wait time or expectations. 2) Poor communication: no one answers phones. Recording says they are shipping out online orders 10 days prior (but mine had been at lease 21 days). Voicemail not taking messages. Emails unanswered. I had to physicially go in. (And they're closed on Sunday and Monday). 3) Quality: for the price you pay for their clothes, they are very low quality, stiff pants and shirts that feel like cardboard. We washed a polo for the first time and the logo melted. 4) Understaffed. Slow service - be ready to wait 45-1 hour at least. (And that's when it's not busy). Check your order after you pick up because I still managed to get the wrong shirt size (even through I ordered the XS they gave me a medium) Thank goodness I checked before I drove off- I still had to wait an extra 15 minutes to get the right size after that!! There are so many apologies from the owner but seriously, you have to make some major changes. You are very lucky no one is competing with you now because we are all stuck giving you business and there is no effort whatsoever. read more

Last year I had a weird issue with sizing on a couple sweatshirts so this year I ordered bigger. Last year I did have to go in and exchange a couple things which was a small wait, but it was my first year with uniforms so not too bad overall. This year I had an issue with an online order but Francesca made sure to make it right and corrected the weird sizing issue from last year which I mentioned but didn't ask for. It happens everywhere with sizing issues. Anyway, Francesca was very apologetic and didn't make me come in which was huge. Everything was fixed over email and mail. She even told me to gift the wrong color/size sweatshirt back to the school which will help out a family with a younger child. Im just very touched after being worried about receiving the wrong item. OH LORD!!! What was always an incredibly long and tedious process with far too many people in need of uniforms without the proper staff has become the nightmare of all nightmares since COVID. Place opens at 10 but people start lining up at 6 am because they know it will take FOREVER. They serve MAYBE 5 tickets per hour. So when you show up and take number 462 and they're working on number 387 expect to be there for the rest of the day. Bring a book, a device or something to entertain yourself and start praying that you'll be seen that day. I've ben checking back on online orders and as of 8/26 they were working on Online orders form August 12. As of 8/28 they were working on online orders from 8/14 and today - Sept 1 they say they're working on online orders from 8/15, 8/16, 8/17. How in the world can it be that slow at pulling orders? I understand that everyone is short staffed due to the pandemic but this is insanity. The place has always been understaffed. Now they are WOEFULLY understaffed and it's painful. read more

Small hole in the wall shop, very unprofessional. I think I've called them 100 times over the past eight months and they never picked up. Every time you call, it's an attitudey lady complaining about unemployment benefits. (On the Voicemail message. No one picks up.) No space to leave a message, mailbox was always full over the past eight months. I sent them an email, and got an auto reply that they don't check email because they are busy. Their hours are very bad, and don't allow a working parent to visit the store. And it's one bad location 45 minute drive away for us I finally visited one day, and a stray looking dog with no leash or tag is out in front almost jumped on me. Barking like crazy. I go in the store around it, it follows me. No one's in the store. Very creepy! Someone comes from the back saying it belongs to the owners. The strangest most unprofessional experience I've seen anywhere! Then they process a refund, that my bank account said looked like a charge in my account. Shockingly unprofessional and overall very strange experience at a store. I pray and hope schools will stop using them and use more respectable businesses read more

I had placed an order and paid for in full for my kids uniforms back in the first week of August. It is now a month after and we still have not received any uniform. Two weeks ago, I called and was advised that they were waiting on items that they didn't have stock. So, they were holding the rest of my kids' uniforms until the rest of the shipment is ready. They offered to do partial shipment of whatever it is they have. I thought, ok at least a compromise. BUT nothing has been received since. We are on week 4 of waiting! It has already been 2 weeks of school and my kids do not have their new uniforms. We are forced to do laundry more often on the handful of items that we do have so they have something clean to wear everyday. It is quite unfortunate that we are left with no choice but to purchase uniforms only from this store. To Viki Marsha staff: If you say that you will do partial shipment for my kids' uniforms 2 weeks ago, I expected you to keep your word. I was number 120 and they were on 30. I then gave up and ordered the item online and it took 5 weeks. For one jumper. They have started a policy in which they had out numbers in order to be helped and stop hanging them out at noon because they are shorted staffed. Which is completely fine EXCEPT that they don't put it on their website or voicemail. They don't answer their phone, answer their emails and their vm is full. They could have at least changed their voicemail message to communicate their policy. The assistant asked that I be "understanding" that they are shorted staffed due to Covid. I ask them to be understanding of i am dealing with the same at my work place and when I fight they my company to take a half day at work, I would like them to "understand" that accommodating me would the least they could do. Uniforms! The school year has starting and I am so glad I picked up the uniforms three months ago. VM offers discounts if you purchase them early. New school and a new uniform. The experience here was much better than the last place and more reasonably priced also. I received excellent help and service and the folks working here were familiar with what the school rules were and what was the accepted lengths and sizes for certain grades. They also had all the details on which sweaters and jackets were the preferred ones by the kids. Yes, I did come early and there was no mad rush to get uniforms. However, this place left a very good taste in my mouth and that is rare for any non food place to accomplish. VM-I am a fan.!
