I wanted guests to design individual quilt squares at the shower and have them sewn together afterwards. The idea originally came up online and suggested having people use fabric markers or puffy paint. Since I have a cricut, I immediately thought the idea would work well with HTV decals. However, I quickly realized cutting and weeding enough decals was going to be a nightmare, and they were unlikely to hold up well over time. This was when I turned to Yelp. I started searching for anywhere that did custom designs on clothing, thinking this would be the best lead. The Golden Stitch came up, and I sent the same message I was sending a bunch of other businesses. Very quickly, I got a response from Nicole. At that point, I wasn't sure we would be using her services. She was still incredibly helpful in giving advice on other items involved in the project, specifically things to look for when choosing fabric. Much to my surprise, she let me know she had done HTV decals for onesies for her friend's baby shower! I ended up going down in person to see samples of the onesies and discuss more details about how to make this idea come to life. She was incredibly knowledgable and very transparent about the pitfalls of some things I suggested and pricing of what I was looking for. By the time I left, I knew what to buy for fabric and what kind of art could and couldn't be printed at the price I could afford. Unfortunately, it did take me a while to find some art packages on Etsy to purchase and I was slow to come back and send her what I wanted. Nicole was incredibly understanding and still did her best to accommodate me and make sure I had the decals in time for the baby shower. She even went through and sized each piece of artwork to fit well on the square size we were using. Despite the time crunch I created, she got the sheets of HTV decals to me before the baby shower. My mother in law, my husband and I spent time sitting together and cutting them apart. Nicole even explained to me how to use my cricut heat press to secure the decals at the shower. After the shower, she was able to put them through her industrial press to help ensure they last along time. When I came back to ask her to press the squares, we discussed how to identify who did what square. This was something I hadn't considered when people were designing their squares. At this point, I been messaging and working with Nicole for several months and I now had a newborn at home. She was super helpful in suggesting how to add initials and/or names to the squares. I was overwhelmed and not giving much direction. Nicole was, again, so quick to get them pressed and add names/initials. What really made it special was the time she and her fiancé took to place the names and initials creatively. She also helped us design the center square with our son's full name, date of birth, and birth stats. My mom has been sewing the squares and the quilt is now almost completed. This keepsake would have been just a sad-could-have-been memory without Nicole. Now our son will have a custom quilt from everyone who came to celebrate him at the baby shower. I'm so grateful for Nicole's wonderful services, but also her compassion and patience. This project is so special to our little family and wouldn't have been possible without her.

When I arrived I was helped by a young man and he promptly assisted with my needs. The entire staff here is so friendly and helpful. They're service is genuine and they look like they all enjoy their job. The energy from the staff can't be missed and speaks highly of the business itself. If you need to use them definitely come in. You will be very satisfied with service. They do have changing rooms and some chars you can seat while you wait, lastly location is very organized and cleaned. Great store!

A shop for Uniforms?…read more Who cares about that? I guess a lot of people do and now so do I. The shop stocks and supplies uniforms for numerous local schools and you this is the ONLY place to get the required uniforms. Well, I did get a bag of uniform stuff from the mom of one of the friends. So, I guess that counts. So, my first visit I had two things on my mind; 1) I want to meet the "arrogant" person and see how bad customer service is that was mentioned in only a couple of reviews; and 2) I was ready to get gouged with rip-off prices 'cause this is the only game in town..other than the friend's mom. 1) I did not meet anyone arrogant. The person I met was super helpful and patient. I get it..wait until the mad rush of school starting and having to deal with so many parents could make anyone a bit short...but on my visit, I only had good customer service and a good experience. 2) Prices- Wow..you mean my kid must wear a uniform every day? No dealing with brand name shoes and the short lived passing trends that change month to month and only result in a skinny wallet for me? This may actually be a money ($$$) saver. So we try stuff on and then I bluntly ask for the price. What? Excuse me what did you say? I heard prices like $15, $20 and everything was around that price range. The parka is nice and a little more but I wont need that for another 6 months or so. So, I am a fan. Prices are great (4 Stars) and Customer Service was good (4 Stars). They do have uniform stuff for other professions.

They offer an abundance of scrub brands, types of fits, shoes, etc., that made it hard for my indecisive self to narrow down. However, the staff allowed me free range to look around. I did not feel hovered over or unwelcome at any point. I was able to try on a few different pairs of scrubs pants with no difficulty. When I went to the cashier to ring me up, both of the employees were very friendly. They do accept apple pay, but no refunds. Just something to keep in mind.
